    • @Feintgames
      @Feintgames Před 7 lety +53

      You're mistaken, winter. First, the page containing that whole area (which included Linkin Park and a much larger area as well) was ripped out of that map book where the partial palm print was found. Second, there's no indication of how old that palm print was. It could have been there for 6 months. I do find it interesting that the page was missing from the map book. But it's not conclusive evidence. The police should have investigated when that map book was purchased and by whom. If they could prove that the map book was purchased on the day of her murder by Jay or Adnan, then that would conclusively link one of them to the murder. It could be a crucial piece of evidence, but since they didn't investigate when it was purchased and by whom, it's garbage.

      the map page with the park also had their high school on it and large sections of surrounding area. No way to say it was there simply because of the park. And if you lived in the area, what would you need a map of the park for anyway? I'm going to dump a body here. Quick. Let's rip a page of the park out of a map book.

    Luxury Rap is right on the point! The only guilty parties here were the detectives! Seriously?! Here's a guy who knows every SINGLE detail about a murder, even where the victim's car has been parked for a while, when the murder happened, or where it didn't happened, how it happened, when it happened and why it happened, he cleaned the shovels off his fingerprints, threw his clothes away, changed his story 4 times to match the evidence against Adnan, and yet NOT one of the detectives ever thought, hmmmm, maybe this guy did it, and he's just framing the other guy? There are only two possible outcomes: Jay did it. Or Jay and Adnan did it. Out of the two characters, only one of them told the police EVERY single detail of the crime, so guess who dunnit?! Not rocket science! Even by the fact that Jay puts himself at all of the points of the crime scene! The place where it took place, be it Best Buy or the other spots, the car, the burial site!

    Honestly, I feel like people shouldn't even be making inference to his guilt or innocence until they listen to part 2, Undisclosed. There's jaw-dropping evidence against the police and Jay. You can say the podcast is biased because Rabia has personal ties, but how do you "personally tie in" literal police audio recordings, autopsy documents, pictures of Hae's car, 100s of documents presented (and not presented) by the police and prosecution, etc. If you're sure he's guilty-- riddle me this: why did Jay's boss say he told her he couldn't come into work, twice, to speak to police about the girl they found in Leakin Park, a WEEK before the police ever record their first interaction? Why does Hae's car have green grass underneath, if it's been sitting in the same place for 7 weeks? Why is the ignition cap missing from her ignition, and better yet, why is there no recording of this in evidence by the police? Why did they subpoena Adnan's phone records (before he was arrested), and only subpoena the phone records of other Muslims or Pakistani's, but didn't for Jay, Jenn, HAE'S pager? And, where did her pager, wallet, and car keys go? Why didn't they DNA test the rope they found 5ft from her body, when the forensic pathologist said they couldn't rule out a rope being used in her strangulation? How did the rope just disappear in evidence? Why didn't the police conduct interviews with any of Hae's friends until after Adnan's arrest? Why didn't they interview the people Jay and Jenn go on record admitting they told about the muderer beforehand?
    The list goes on and on....

      It is true that Police could have done a better job. But it is also true that Adnan has a lot to tell as well.
      you ask a lot of questions let me just ask you one:
      How come if your ex-girlfriend dies, the person that you called 3 times less than 24 h before disappearing, you can't remember such an important day? How come you never looked for her?
      I'm pretty sure that I'd be devastated.

      @@roflmao9999 I understand what your saying. I don't think that exactly makes him guilty though, maybe a big fat jerk. It's easy to say he should of, I would've, so he should've. But if you were a 17yr old boy who broken up with a girl...he said he checked in with her bestfriends constantly, and no one believed at that point before her body had turned up, that anything bad had happened to her. None of her friends were really out and about looking for her... maybe Debbie (I think - calling around) Plus they were all minors, with a killer out there it wasn't like they'd be allowed to go look for her. Plus, I could ask the bigger red flag question : why did Don (who was her actual BF at the time) not go looking for his girlfriend, not even called her after she'd gone missing?

    I have a degree in journalism. (not trying to brag, just saying I know how journalists approach writing a story)The podcast very subtly pushes for you to think Adnan is not guilty. • @sethd6485
      @sethd6485 Před rokem +4

      it wasn’t really corroborated though, because Jay’s story continued to change; in fact, the police helped mold it. the cell phone data was also shown in the podcast and in the HBO documentary series to be somewhat unreliable. lastly, i would point out that the burden of proof was not on Adnan or his team. the burden of proof is on the prosecution, whose entire case centered around an extremely unreliable witness, unreliable cell phone data, and zero physical evidence connecting Adnan to the murder. it was a razor thin case, and despite the conviction, i think most people would agree that the state did not prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. i don’t think the podcast pushes you in either direction in terms of actual guilt, and in fact Koenig was clearly very torn on that issue. but it DOES push you in the direction of acquittal and is right to do so. because the state *did not prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt.*

    At the moment I feel Adnan did it and Jay helped, as he admits, to burying the body out of fear of Police contact as he was already into stuff he didn't want Police knowing. Jay then later strikes a deal with cops to testify and help build their case against Adnan in return for immunity. This is why Adnan whispers 'pathetic' to him in court. For me Adnan is pretty intelligent however a Freudian slip is the fact Adnan did not make a single call to Hae after the day she went missing as he knew she was dead or even weeks later when he knew cops were looking for her. For someone who called her a lot previously the sudden end in communications speaks volumes does it not? Also Adnan is very 'at peace' with it all in prison probably as he did it. If it were me wrongly imprisoned I'd be a lot more passionate and righteously angry about it all still inside.

    Jay was the only person so quick to rat on Adnan. which comes to make me think cops had something on Jay. & Jay choice was to Rat on Adnan and get off or go to jail for what ever they have on him. Because aint no real friend would just rat someone out like that.

    • @beverleylumb8048
      @beverleylumb8048 Před 3 lety

      Does it matter why Jay ratted on aden this is a murder much more important than not ratting out someone and you say they don't do stuff like that to a friend well actually you don't murder someone either friend or not. I think he did it he never said he supposedly had an alibi she had to write to prison and remember me I was with you in the library that day. In fact if you had an alibi and they were accusing you of murder and you couldn't possibly be there you would not forget about it that would be the first thing you would say to the cops. His lawyer didn't contact her either so ineffective council they are going with but maybe his lawyer did contact the alibi witness and didn't believe her so didn't call her to court. I don't know his first lawyer is dead and so can't say but I think it's odd she did nothing while having the witness name on a pad they found look at everything
      Yes the woman fighting for him is a family friend not someone unbiased

    His 100% innocent, They need to investigate jay and Stephanie feel like jay is hiding the truth. the girlfriend of Jay is called Stephanie, as in the prom princess who was mentioned in Hae Mins diary? Who was somehow dumped by Adnan to be with Hae? Crazy theory: Stephanie was in love with Adan and more than jealous of Hae, so she
    got somehow in contact with Jay, ending up
    planning to murder Hae Min and blaming it on Adan as a punishment? The dna found on the wheel in Haes car, could be Stephanies, who parked it there, so the story would make sense?

    Remebr the friend that had a dad who was part of the Homicide detectives or the reinforcement or whatever is police wise maybe it was her and Jay that did it because remember only jay knew this girl so maybe Jay did it and he told the girl about it and the girl told her father nd he was covering for jay ? Nd jay blamed it all in on Adnan ..idk I have many ideas but honestly I don’t think Adnan did it .. he’s been in jail for 20years and he still claims his innocence ? Why wouldn’t he just b like okay well im already in jail for life so I mise well come clean n tell the that I did do it......... ya know ? .

    Guilty as hell. The podcast just nitpicks minor crap to make a story. Two things.... Adnan does't try to call or page Hae after she goes missing. They are admittedly still friends after the break up. A cop calls him if he had seen her. I am sorry. But any person would start trying to contact Hae in that situation. The reason he doesn't is because he knows she is dead. Secondly, the cell phone pings to a cell tower near Leakin Park where Hae was buried, which corroborates Jays story.

    • @amandagonzales3667
      @amandagonzales3667 Před 8 lety +2

      +S Evans you obviosuly haven't listened to undisclosed podcast. The cell phone pings are bullshit. Along with so many other claims to show Adnan was supposedly guilty.

    • @roaryaroz7169
      @roaryaroz7169 Před 8 lety +14

      Don - her current boyfriend also didnt contact her once after she went missing. I take it he is also guilty as hell! Plus Jays most recent testimony was that they were in Leakin Park not at 7 (which was the time of the cell tower ping) but at midnight (when there is no cell tower evidence that the phone was anywhere near Leakin Park). Thats not to say Adnan is innocent but your basis for calling him "guilty as hell" is pitifully weak. Please never join a jury. Youre lack of logic pains me.

      But also if he did do it would he not be smart enough to call her to cover his tracks? Would he not be smart enough to form some kind of alibi? At the same time is he actually smart and thought he'll play the 'I don't remember card' To be honest I don't know if he's innocent or guilty but he has to be involved in some way.

    • @lazul6611
      @lazul6611 Před 7 lety +5

      Amanda Gonzales How are cell phone pings bullshit exactly? If it pings that tower then that phone was in the vicinity of the tower. This is simple physics.

    • @lazul6611
      @lazul6611 Před 7 lety +2

      +Roary Aroz Even if I grant you the "even the boyfriend didn't call her" thing then explain the cell tower ping. There's too many things that smells bad with his story. You could maybe look past one of them maybe but there are too many things that don't add up. It isn't like I wanted him to be guilty either. I actually think Steven Avery is innocent in the Making a Murderer case; there were too many things that didn't add up in the case against him.
