I like the part where Joel completely forgot some C64 games don't auto-start.
They just load and need to be _manually started_ with the "RUN" command.
C64 had some great games, even some great ninja games (Last Ninja comes to mind) but for every Last Ninja there are about 10 Ninja Hamsters
Bad Cat looked harder than Demon Souls.
Nah, Demon's souls is actually the first game in the Dark souls series. I haven't played it, so I don't know if the stories are related, but they're developed by the same team and it laid the groundwork that led to Dark Souls.

The Tarzan in the Tarzan Goes Ape game looks like a cross between an ape and an 8-Bit Homer Simpson, LMAO. I will say the music in that game was pretty decent for it's time though. The background sprites were also decent. The character sprites are a different story.

wow the worst part he got it wrong street fighter 2 for commodore 64 is a official port capcom used to and still might license there games out to other companies it was made by us gold who other than a megaman game for gamegear i have no idea what they made
US Gold/Tiertex handled most C64/ZX Spectrum ports of Capcom games, if I recall... and they tended to be pretty shit.
The only good port they ever did, if I remember right, was the Genesis version of Strider... which they then proceeded to cock up by including in their contract that they could make a sequel in-house, which ended with US Gold churning out Strider Returns: Journey From Darkness, a "sequel" so godawful that it makes Snake's Revenge look faithful. It also got the same treatment as Snake's Revenge - Capcom pretty much doesn't acknowledge its existence, to the point that they made a REAL Strider 2 that was goddamn amazing for a late 90s/early 2000s arcade game.

96 % of the games are meant to be played by joystick. But you don't seem to figure out how to switch the port. Now, I would say that International Karate II for Commodore 64 is nearly as good gameplay wise as Street Fighter 2 for SNES. You should try International Karate instead of this crappy fight game.

Yeah, C64 had some great games, good games, and even some terrible ones. The C64 Karnov port was just awful. Abysmal in fact. In fact it was a cheap port of the ZX Spectrum version, which isn't saying much because that version was terrible too
