It's amazing what you can find within one's family's film reels. For instance, I found one where my Dutch grandfather was waving this photograph like a maniac. Because he was a printer in Rotterdam he had access to all these photos. This one in particular was actually to be destroyed and it may be the only surviving one left. It was a picture of a Dutch princess (possibly the successor) kissing a prince of Sweden (possibly Prince Gustav of Vasterbotten).
Anyway it's amazing what you can find from those relatives you only see once every two weeks!!

I actually played and liked Sint Nicolaas as a kid, it was a legit tradition of mine to play it during the holidays and now I can't believe it was this simple.
Apparently the game is rare these days because they only sold like a handful of copies in one tiny ass country. I also believe the same company behind it made a bootleg Mario Bros that's shitty as hell, maybe I'll mail it to joel if there's a rom of it.

It's a shame he never figured out Chickens2, that was a super gorey game, id' have been pretty happy with it. It was mouse controlled when I played it and the chickens exploded into huge sprays of red pixels that carpeted the ground. They were persistent and if I remember correctly it actually modified the terrain as the chunks piled up affecting the chicks' path.

Why did Joel sleep in McDonalds? I mean, here in Massachusetts we experience both extremely cool weather and extremely hot weather at different times of the year and certain stores and government buildings like town hall and the police station are designated as places where the homeless/people travelling can go to sleep with air conditioning/heating and relative peace and quiet.
Does Sweden not have anything like that?

Massachusetts sounds awesome. In my rural area of my bible-belt state, if you knock on the door of a teen couple or an old lady and ask to sleep on their couch because you have nowhere to go, they won't usually object. Very strange but its nice. Southern hospitality, I guess.

Sinterklaas is a Dutch holiday which we have somewhere at the start of December, it's very similar to Christmas, so double the presents and fun if you live in the Netherlands.
Also the assistants of Sinterklaas (Zwarte Pieten) were very controversial recently, because people found it racist, but the discussion has luckily died about half a year ago.
