Nice truck , I got a 2016 3.5 ecoboost last year and i love it, wish i had the bought the 2018 model so i don't have to worry about carbon build up and timing chain issues but too late now lol. Ive got a catch can setup ,roush cold air intake , ams turbo inlet tubes , spd turbo adapters, spd high flow catted downpipe, spd catback exhaust with the resonator delete , and finally got a tune for it from 5 star tuning. The tune really woke it up . Definitely not as fast as your ride but it feels great. Im thinking about getting the mishimoto intercooler and piping kit for it next and maybe a bigger throttle body . Anyways , love your truck man i dont plan on getting a methanol or e85 tune but hopefully i can get those kind of power numbers with some extra mods 😅

Very nice! Thanks for the view of the engine...been trying to think of a way to dress up the antifreeze tank up front....didn't know Cobb made that! Just placed an order for one. I've been looking at the AMS inlet tubes....but does the passenger side still hook up to the tiny inlet end to the turbo? Seems like it would still bottleneck there.

I like that you went with a black decal for the f150 lettering. I have a 2018 xlt, its the navy blue like color and i did the american flag one but im thinking of blacking out the rims, gonna get black running boards and push bar, and maybe ill have to change out the decal for the one you have. Looks nice.
I gotta say though, 2018 xlts had a better grille!

Kris (Preaux tune) also did my tune. He is good and very professional. Lund never could get it to not surge and backfire occasionally. Now it runs like stock until you get into it.
I absolutely love Kris he’s the best tuner I’ve ever worked with, we’ve been speaking weekly for years, although I’m in Canada and he’s in the states

Very nice looking truck. It blows my mind that you can run middle 11s and a reliable decent gas mileage luxury pick up truck on cheap ass gas. 25 years ago I would’ve had a supercharged mustang loud as hell not even running mid 11s
Supercharged mustangs from 25 years ago should easily get into the 11s if set up half decent even 10s ain't that difficult. It is impressive but give the older mustangs little more credit. No they weren't that quick stock but with superchargers and a good setup 11s isn't difficult at all.
@@midnight347 a stock 5.0 would run 15 in the quarter mile. There’s no way in hell a super charger alone would drop it 4-5 seconds. You’re talking about a supercharger and gears and heads and a camshaft and 1 million other things to get into the 11s or 10’s with a 1993 mustang
Make a video of the exhaust and show the setup. I wanted to do the raptor downpipes and an H-pipe too. on my Lariat. Can’t find much info online as I don’t think many have done it.

Truck is sick. Just had to rebuild my 2015 eco boost engine and tranny but I have straight pipes. . I'd be happy to get mine up around where your truck is at.

6 speed trans? I just got a 2020 3.5 with the 10 speed. Been reading quite a bit about people having issues with that transmission. I just wonder how it would handle that kind of power. If I had the funds...I'd be really tempted to find a single cab and tune it.

I have a 2020 3.5 ecoboost with AFE intake, Wagner intercooler, injector dynamics 1050cc, ported throttle body, SPD catted downpipes and turbo adapters, raptor fuel pump, 4" exhaust dyno tuned on E85 by Palm beach dyno made 540 and 689 tq

Mine is leveled kit 2.7 eco 2016 after market Intercooler, intake, catbacks, msd coils throttle body Tuned on e85. This things move ..

Teo what wheels (brand, size) are you running. The Chinese tires are which model ; what size are they as well? I will probably go with a Venomrex 17x9 wheel unless yours are lighter. Tallest tires for the 17" wheel is about 30" . Slicks you may have more options, but in street tires I haven't found any that are similar to the factory 18" tire (P275/65/R18). Tires I am running now are a heavy A/T Firestone.

That’s all that’s needed for e85? Besides the tune. Just picked up a 18 3.5 EB and wanting to go e85 with these gas prices in SoCal.

Have you changed the front and rear gear ratios?
The methanol allows a timing advance of about 8 degrees, goes from 5* and 21 psi on 93 to 12* and 21-22 psi with 50/50 water meth through a 625/ml snow performance nozzle. I’d assume about 40-50 wheel horsepower over straight 93. We haven’t used methanol with e85 yet as we just started tuning for it but together with e85 it should be about a 90-100 whp gain over 93. I had the truck dynod last year on a tune that ran 12.5 at 109 and it made 502 whp, it’s been 11.82 @115 on 93 meth in cold weather so I’d assume it would make around 540 550 wheel on 93 meth and then around 600-610 on e85 meth

To pass on information. It’s a 3.55 gear ratio with 31.2” tall tires doesn’t work very well for launching right now, can’t build boost past 23-2500 rpm without rolling through the breaks and setting off the clock at the track, so it 60’ foots between 1.79 and 1.90 which are actually quite slow for this power level. A low 1.6 60 foot at the same power level would be a much lower 11 second pass, probably 11.2-11.3 over 11.5
Have you considered an aftermarket boost controller with CO2 to allow boost build while staging?
@@kp1897 no because it’s not an issue of the boost itself, it’s an issue of keeping the truck still as the load builds up, I was going to try new breaks first for more holding power. Ideally I’d like to launch at 3000 rpm and 10 psi, but right now once it gets to 4 lbs it starts pushing the truck forward with me standing on the breaks, proper way to do it would be with a 3k stall converter, trans break & 2 step but that’s a lot of $$

I been trying to find a tuner in Edmonton to tune my Equinox 2.0 turbo, and a custom cold intake for mine no luck yet, Tunes be nice for more MPG and more HP.

@@iwannabeteo6574 I called them up, they only do 91 octane tune not 87 tune the way gas prices are, mine 2.0T is premium fuel recommended not only.
@@Barbieman55 yeah I feel you there man, I’ve never ran anything less than 91 in my truck since I bought it in 2018 and it’s on 94 right now, gas sucks but luckily it still gets good mileage so I find it worth it
