Since this video is spamming my page i'm going to add another comment: Where I'm from we mainly make our own boards, as opposed to the microwave-ready tiny shite half-fab db's you guys install. We don't have the luxury of having fused sockets so we do loads of radial circuits and spurs so our boards differ a lot from project to project. A common thing about board changes is that sometimes to save the wire length and not splice it you have to choose a double-ender just to make sure you can feed it both from the bottom or the top. You get weird instances in which you need to make things fit. Most normal RCBO-s and RCCB's are double enders, the only ones which aren't are most of those electronic POS's that so many are keen on but they have issues like : being unidirectional, can't test them with 500, they get ducked by over-voltages, are prone to various faults AND DON'T WORK WITHOUT A NEUTRAL. I hope you can explain to me why you guys are so obsessed with those standard three-phase boards from Schneider and the 18-22 ways on resi boards. Ta.

I have just installed a 16A TP&N Interlocked Socket Outlet for one of my clients. The socket outlet is to be used to supply a FLT charger and a quick read of the instructions for the FLT charger states that a type B or B+ RCD must be used. I had to pick my clients jaw up off the ground when I told him how much a 4 pole Type B RCCB would cost!! He wanted to see proof as he was in such disbelief which was uncommon for him as we have a very good supplier/contractor relationship. He laughed his head off when I told him the price for the Schneider version!! Crazy!!!

Probably the best video you've made, having seen it on IG, was hoping you would get it here on YT as it needs to be out there to spread the word that they've all been caught out !

Yes Jamie. This is nothing new. When we is install a solar system sometimes the battery or DC feedback can trip an RCBO. With every job we have to leave Startup/Shutd instructions next to the inverter, sometimes if these are done in the wrong order it does trip the RCBO. But we have a workaround for this, we use a standard 63amp type (A) RCD with a 25amp MCB in series with it (typical 5Kw system). The RCD is able to handle 2way current and never trips unless there is a genuine fault.

You took the reply I was going to make straight out of my mouth regarding the regs and the prosumer addition a few years ago why was it not included then the IET boffins would /should have known at the time about the 2 way flow I hope this is not going to be another regs book guidance notes £££££
They all piss in the same pot. When you get manufacturers involved in the writing of our regulations there is a conflict of interest.

I agree with most of what you said, I recall white goods manufacturers having a lot to do with afdd’s protecting their own ass’s from their kak goods. Prosumer is still relatively new to the regs and not common practice so manufacturers have been somewhat slow on the uptake which from a business perspective makes sense to me.

Ye processors have maxed out at 3Ghz. So they are just multiples of this using more cores (processors) but the actual speed of a single task is 3Ghz.

Of course you are a cynic Jamie. But then you know the definition of cynicism don't you...
"Cynicism = reality based on experience" ~ or is that merely a cynic's view!!!!!
