    That was informative.
    My training was 2002, before the internet really got started, before CZcams and what the heck was Amazon. Visiting my local book shop, ordering Brian Scaddam and anything else just to gain some knowledge ready for the exams. These days there is a wealth of information online, that apprentices should be flying through exams and have one hell of a head start. College's should make this channel mandatory viewing.

    Came back to this after a conversation this week with a fellow QS around RFC continuity readings slightly outside the 0.05 continuity "rule of thumb". It's something that can often be applied with a little excess dogmatism for me and many engineering judgements come into assessing whether an obtained reading is as expected or not. Looking forward to hearing more opinions on these matters.

    I think people often forget that the RCD is often there for only additional protection. If the RCD doesn't function ADS and double insulation will still exist.

      True. That said in my area many homes are TT and additional protection is not to be under valued.
