Purple does look great on you! I’m glad I found your channel. I used to be a size 12-14 in patterns, adding an inch or two to the hip area. Fit perfectly and looked good on me. I never learned to alter a pattern, although I should have. Now, at 71, after that “hysterical” operation, hormone replacement fiasco, hypo-thyroid and depression (which was actually anxiety) and ALL the medications involved in all those, I have long outgrown a size 12-14. I quit sewing, too. I loved sewing my own clothes. Well, I’m going to do it again! Ladies like you, Inspire me.

I love the dress on you, it is quite flattering and feminine. The Rebecca Page Cami is something I will consider due to the minimum fabric requirements.
