So after about an 8 year garment sewing hiatus, you most DEFINITELY were my inspiration to get back at it. In my more than 30 years of sewing, I have never sewn knit fabric, can you believe that? I’ve purchased quite a few pieces over the years, but I was terrified to try it. Well, hiatus over…. First pdf pattern, even though I have several LN patterns, but I LOVE this LDT. I actually made one for myself and for a family member. I also purchased a Brother coverstitch more than 2 years ago, and, again, I was leery about trying it. Sewing knit fabric, done, using coverstitch machine, done. Still learning how to perfect my coverstitch skills, but so glad I took the leap! Thank you for the motivation to get my “sew-Jo” back! 😃 Time to start sewing down the ridiculous amount of fabric in my stash.

Oh my yes this is a lovely dress!🧡🧡🧡 And that color looks so nice on you and complements your complexion! I have this pattern and have had it since it was released and only made it once. That’s because I made it too large and didn’t like it! However, that was my fault and seeing yours, has renewed my faith in the pattern!

Great dress love the colour there's a product called Terial spray starch for the curl also the pattern fabric for the duster is gorgeous happy days😊😊😊
Thank you !! Oh, I definitely like Terial, I've talked about it before but definitely prefer stay tape over that for hemming 😊
This is my favorite pattern and can’t count how many dresses and tops I have made. Like the yellow on you. I can get it from 2 yards easy if I put a seam in the back. I just add a seam in the back instead of cut tin on the fold.

Love the color. I have also made the dress in a beautiful African American jersey print. I need to take the waste in. I am so scared to mess it up it's just hanging up. Your dress looks so cozy.
Ohhh Vanessa this would be a easy one to fix, definitely baste where you think the changes are needed, try it on and go from there 👍🏽😊

Oh Karen you will love it. I used the regular neckline. Next time I do want to try the Cowl neckline version and definitely the vneck.
