    Yes, I can definitely see a nice summer dress from this pattern. Great job Nateida!

    What a pretty top Nateida! You always select the nicest prints! And those colors are so nice together and I bet look even better in person! I think I have a pattern very similar to that one, I have to go check! Yes, a dress would be super cool using that pattern too!

      Thank you Myra!! I love this print and think I've found the perfect fabric for making a dress from this.

    I used this pattern and made is knee-length for a nightgown - it's so comfortable!

      Oh, I bet it is comfortable, it's a really easy make.

    Thanks for sharing. My suggestion is to keep the length and add rouching at the bottom side panels.
    Yes, it would be really cute as a dress in a print!

      I think I actually found the perfect fabric to make it into a dress, thanks for watching.

    Oh my word, 80 degrees! That is months away for me. Love cotton knits for humid areas, I can get by with polyester knits tear round in western WA, but when I visit my folks in San Antonio I feel like I am going to die in them! Cute top, good review.

      Thanks so much Carole! I can definitely imagine, this Texas humidity is no joke - LOL!

    Thank you for this. I am making this one at the moment, but without the sleeves. View c. It looks very nice on you. I hope mine will turn out as nice as yours.

      Thank you!!! I was thinking about that sleeveless version as well, it would be PERFECT lengthened into a summer dress. I bet yours will turn out great!

    • @RaceAngel
      @RaceAngel Před 4 lety +1

      I finished my garment but it didn't turn as great as yours. Around the buste it is way to big and around the hips perfect. I don't have enough experience to alter it. So I hope I can make someone else happy with it. But the pattern is as easy as you say and great for beginners. Stay safe and healthy and thx again for the video.

      @@RaceAngel it sounds like you need to grade between sizes. If you get a chance, checkout part 1 of my Cashmerette Upton Sewalong video, I go over those type of adjustments. Thanks for the update.

      Thanks Kay, I paid about $6 for it from Etsy, I bet you can find a great deal on there.
