1:16:00 I think the problem with Morj always giving the anime shit isn't what he's saying, it's the fact that he, on average, watches about 1.5 episodes every 3 months lol. I personally don't get offended by his rants about the anime but I can understand the frustration. He's making a lot of assumptions about what's happening in the anime and usually speaks very aggressively from a place of general ignorance. Just my 2 cents

So regarding Kidd added scene in the anime where he talks to Killer later after being destroyed - I've never watched One Pace which strictly follows manga is what ive heard, will that kidd scene be there in One pace?
No, that's why one pace is not good (except for the dressrosa arc and wano act 1)

no, but apparently they are gonna introduce one pace "extra" keeping some anime original stuff for selected optional eps that go way beyond with their direction and anime original content like this and 1015. (according to one of the head editors, last time they edited this ep live on twitch)
I think your opinion on the anime in its current form is wild. The pacing is spot on and not over done this arc. Egghead needs to be stretched out because of all the shit that each panel and chapter are filled with. I think your opinion holds weight for week to week, but if you’re not even going to binge the arc once completed and still feel that way, that’s wild.
We are entitled to our opinions though and I respect that. But it’s a controversial opinion because your so staunch on it and seem to not be willing to even try to give the arc a chance.
As for the opening credits theme, the “All of Us” at the beginning is repeated.. and it does a really good job at setting up not just the arc but the rest of the story. The lyrics are pretty spot on to the images we have in the sequence.
I mean, I feel the same way as him. Its basically because the source materials pacing already is slow, so..

@@EllieisaBanana and also at the end of the day its a personal preference thing. Now I mainly watched/read One Piece my entire life. I wasnt into manga or animes as an artform. But when I branched out and read/watched other titles it all just made sense. I couldnt put my finger on it back then, because I had nothing to compare the pace-issue of One Piece to, but after "tasting different stuff" its all but clear.
Still love One Piece and its like my main interest in Manga, but it can be frustratingly slow and Im not a zoomer with low attentionspan problems, Im in my 30s 😂
I think the real issue is that he gives the anime a lot of shit even through he doesn't watch it lol. Whether his opinion is right or not doesn't even really matter if doesn't really know what he's talking about. I think that's the part the irritates people. He should just lay off the anime a little unless he actually watches more than 1 episode every 2 months 😅
@@BreakingTheGleipnir oh, of course. I’m not a fan of the pacing of the past. But you can tell that Toei really has been taking the pacing issues to heart and because of the way Oda wrote this arc, it lends more to being adapted.
Again, I completely respect others to have their own opinions and preferences. But I don’t think his is a very well informed decision, it’s a biased decision. 🤷🏻♀️ but that’s also my opinion on his opinion 🤣

Nah I agree with him, like wouldn't it be nice to see Zoro actually doing the motion of the slash, and seeing him cut through king's wing? Instead we just get an explosion and basically a still shot after the fact. I get where Morj is coming from, it's always been a thing with the anime where instead of showing the actual cut/slash, they just cut away to zoro standing all cool and the aftermath of the cut /slash. You can go back and look at most of his fights and see the same direction. I get that it'd prolly take alot more work to do that, but if they're gonna go all out I feel like they shouldn't skimp on the actual final attack imo.
Also think the snakeman stuff you said is completely unrelated to Morj's take unless I'm misunderstanding something

I disagree ,it’s all interacting with his viewers. It’s what a streamer is supposed to do and the only value they provide, interacting with a live audience. Otherwise he can do is just upload a 10 min reaction like other people.

@@johnlo6613 I swear Toei‘s pacing being horrible was common knowledge until the anime got really good animation in recent times and people started pretending the pacing is good.
We can still enjoy what we get and acknowledge that the pacing is still really bad for the most part.
