@@Thunderbird_306 Law simply didn't have the firepower to take down an emperor. That's where kid came in. Unfortunately, whereas law's support is god tier, kid's power is not. His attack would've never even hit big mom or take her down even if it did hit her without law creating the opportunity. I think realistically, both law and kid's bounties should be around 2 billion. That's probably where their power levels lie.
@pandapo7542 to further your point, kid and his overly ambitious nature short sighted him on his weak points. His haki level is severely unrefined and unpolished compared to the other big hitters. If it wasn't shanks bringing him down it would have been someone else. Shanks just did him the favor and took him out sooner rather than later.

I think Shank observation Haki is the thing that separates him from other Yonkos. Kiado for sure can one shot people but if other Yonkos can look that far ahead and know how serious of an attack they can give out as their first shot. Scaling would be different.

Well, we all know Shanks is known as the "Killer of Observation Haki" so he might have turned off Kid and Killer's Observation Haki so they wouldn't notice him charging forward. Greatest swords man means his swords skills are the greatest in the world, it doesn't necessarily mean he is stronger than shanks. According One Piece Novel duel between Shanks and Mihawk always ended up in tie. And I'm talking about when Shanks had his arm, before being a yonkou. Shanks became a yonkou 2-3 after meeting Luffy. I think Shanks and Mihawk are on same lvl or one might be slightly stronger than other.
