This game makes me feel so smart and so dumb at the same time. But I think I'm starting to get it! Or I'm just kidding myself into thinking that I'm starting to get it. Or am I? Or are you? Goat says..?

This game is fantastic, it's always wonderful seeing someone discover it for the first time. As you say, it'll make you feel SO dumb and then you'll be "Oh, hang on. Oh! OH! Oh *wow*!". Have fun!
And you saying "Oh, it's cool that I discovered that first" will happen time and again. It's delightful :)
Hahah yes, that's exactly how I feel going through this game 😂 It's a lot of fun, though. Such an interesting way of creating a narrative! I'm so hyped to continue playing since I've started to unravel how things work now 😁

I like the playthrough but I don't like the cuts. You where in orbit of the moon and somehow got back. After the cut you where injured... so you cut out the landing on the moon. 41:50 It's a shame. The fun part of watching a playthrough is watching aaaaall the struggles, the player goes through. It's such a shame you cut them out sometimes.
I hear you :) I cut out out a big chunk there cos I was running around on the moon a lot aimlessly. I didn't struggle with the landing, but I slammed into the side of the crater when I jumped and tried to get back down to the moon. I can't say I have a lot - or enough - experience with editing videos to include the correct pacing just yet (I hope I've gotten better a few episodes down, but if you look at my channel, I do not have a lot of videos before this one) but I do cut out a lot of "running past the same place a million times" in later episodes as well which might include some injury or struggle. I also might cut out small sections where the audio glitched out or I made some weird noise that the microphone decided to make even worse (except for a part when I sang which was just too funny to me to cut out - I had forgotten I was recording cos I was so immersed in my own thoughts and I do sing A LOT irl haha!)
I'm also still so early on in my YT journey that I don't know what my target group of audience enjoys watching or are looking for quite yet, so this early on is a bit of guess work as well as "suit with what I love doing and want to show".
Admittedly, it is a bit scary to put myself out there with all the weird noises I make, the way I pronounce things (I'm from Sweden, so my English isn't perfect..) and the way I enjoy playing games, but these were actually some of the many reasons I wanted to challenge myself and go on this journey. I really appreciate that you took time to point this out - you might be on to something that I wanted to hide by editing it away. The embarrassment of "failing" :)
So I'll take this with me! What I might have been considering "embarrassing" might actually bring more value and personality in the end. Thank you :)
@@Kahli_TheNerdYess. Struggling and failing is perfect in Outer Wilds because you can see the process of getting better and better, managing the ship through space. You are a lot better than most Outer Wilds beginners. But the learning curve of this game is just so smooth... you wanna show every bit of it. And your english is fiiiinee btw. In Outer Wilds people wanna see blind playthrough. For instance... you went to chert and found out that the super nova is gonna happen. I never saw anyone doing that before the first super nova. So the super nova happened and you knew what it was because chert told you. In a normal playthrough the super nova happens when the player is in some cave or on the shadowside of a planet... and they just die and don't know why.
@@TheJunkLink Ah true! Though at the moment Chert told me, I didn't think much of it (more than that he was a bit crazy) so I was still in shock! But I guess I visually got to see the whole thing.. yea - didn't consider that part much actually.
And I hear you about the progress of things. Later on in my play through (or rather, when I get more comfortable on this channel) I believe it's better. Or I hope so at least since that's how it feels! It'll be funny to look back on this in about a year - only been on YT for about a month - and see if I've gotten more comfortable :)
