Dr. Fauci showed evidence of a smear campaign against him, but Rand Paul couldn't prove his own case at all. That's what the scientific method is meant to do: to sort out the facts from opinions, and Dr. Fauci showed he can do the scientific method, adding some credibility to his profession as a doctor.

@@nunya2814 I think you’re confusing “voted but lost” (chances are 50/50 that this is due to meddling in voting regulations or district layouts by Republicans, because they know that a purely representative vote would lead to A LOT more blue states) with “didn’t bother to vote.”
Still, given how Republican lawmakers are making it harder to vote in mainly Democratic urban areas (see Texas) or gerrymandering the heck out of their districts to win despite having the minority (see North Carolina), I wouldn’t blame people for actually believing that their voice doesn’t matter.
