It wasn't about him per se, it was just the blow to her ego that a younger woman had his eye. It could have been any man she decided she owned. This is about narcissism and insecurity.
First loud screams: Mo is confronted with the sight of the killer pointing a gun at her. The screams subside: Mo retreating towards the inside of the house, in this case the bathroom. The 2 consecutive shots: The killer guns Mo down, the 1st shot goes through left and right temples, the second shot is fired as she is falling down, thus the bullet travels downward and exits at her chin. 5 seconds before the 3rd shot: the time it takes for the killer to walk up to Mo then dying body. The 3rd and final shot: at close range, the killer aims for the heart.
Where did you get those details? That's incredibly cold, calculating and gruesome. Not a crime of passion.

Cause the Man was "hers and hers alone" and thus she wanted to get rid of the competence or anyone who could "rob" her of the BF, in this case Mo. The BF is the object of her desire she doesnt want to let free and that is with him, while Mo is the person who wants to steal or break her "perfect" relationship. That's her sick narrative. It's a very solid motive... specially after harrasing her to stay away even though they were friends and nothing more, she was jealous and wanted her gone.

What an incredibly sad and senseless tragedy. For Mo’s sake, so her life is not lost in vain, please everyone, take a lesson that envy and jealousy NEVER works out in your favour. Both women had so much potential to offer the this world, which will never be recognized, due to one being dead, and the other spending the rest of her life in prison, probably waking up each day, wondering how it all came to this.

Because she was jealous of Mo (the girl that got murdered) and her Boyfriend being friends. They had hooked up when Caitlin (the murderer) and the Boyfriend broke up.

I read that they had dated when he and Kaitlin were broken up or having problems. He continued to be friends with Mo and reportedly, Kaitlin let Mo know to stay away. The boyfriend was extremely manipulative and played them off each other.
Even though Kaitlin is 100% responsible for this heinous choice she made, I still hate that the boyfriend gets off scot free. One woman dead, the other's life basically over, while he gets to move on and live his life. If he hadn't been sneaking around behind his jealous girlfriend's back (unbeknownst to Mo), if he had not bought them a gun (for protection 🙄) then I bet this tragedy never would have happened. He made awful choices, but aside from a hopefully guilty conscience, he bears no consequences.
