What sucks is that when she went to Costa Rica, she had friends, a new romance, a job prospect, and a peaceful life. Imagine if she just started over without killing anyone.
I don’t know but I have to disagree with this. Based on the case, she ‘seemed’ to have some sort of over-paranoid, obsessive and insecure behaviour.
I don’t think a fresh start anywhere in the world would do
her any good really if she does carry those traits ‘within’ herself.

This woman is crazy. Not only did she flee the country and literally try to get away with murder, (shows absolutely no remorse, just selfishness) she then got plastic surgery to try to conceal herself. THEN when she’s caught she actually tries to flee police AGain.

They wouldn't be able to prove it anyways beyond a reasonable doubt, unless the sister is foolish enough to say that she knew what her sister did.

The handling of this situation by everyone involved was completely misguided. The boyfriend made a misjudgment by maintaining a friendship with the girl he had a casual fling with, without considering the boundaries necessary in a committed relationship. Despite the fact that their relationship was already in turmoil, he chose to remain with his girlfriend. It's an incredibly chaotic situation overall. Nonetheless, no man in this world is worth sacrificing your life for, and this applies to both women involved. He is free to live his life as he pleases, while one woman has tragically lost her life and the other is facing a lengthy prison sentence (90 years). Personally, I would rather be single.
Strickland is not innocent in this situation. He didn't pull the trigger but certainly helped set the emotional stage.
The dateline show dives deeper into their messages. Colin told Mo that he was only with Kaitlyn due to their business and Mo was also wondering where she stood in his life. While it's normal to have platonic friends, there clearly was something "there" between them. He did not handle this well.

Not that cheating is an excuse to kill someone (if someone is cheating on you, break up with them, don't kill anyone) but I just don't believe him, I remember when this happened, the time they spent together that day was going to the pool. They had security footage of Mo and Colin at the pool together, they were touching one another and everything about their interaction screamed FLIRTING to me. Everyone was pretty convinced he'd gotten caught cheating cause I'm not a jealous person in relationships but I've never had a boyfriend (or my husband) go to the pool with another woman alone like that and I would definitely not appreciate the way they were acting with one another. But all Kaitlin did was ruin two lives by going after Mo like that, Mo's and her own.

I know well what jealousy does. My maternal grandmother murdered my grandfather in 1930 because she believed he was seeing other women. That murder took place in Eureka, Ca. When the murder happened, my mother was two years old, her baby sister was 8 months and she had 3 brothers under 11 years old. My grandmother was told that if she stayed in Eureka, she would face prosecution for the murder (blunt object used), or go back to Mexico and take her children. No jail time. The punishment was nil but she did punish her children as they were immediately plunged into poverty, living in a one room apartments with no running water and sleeping on the floor. My mother and her baby sister were left alone with hardly any food while Paz Cruz, my grandmother, went out searching for work. This poverty caused great mental anguish to my mother that stayed with her until she came back to the United States. Jealousy is a horrible monster that can gobble up anything good.

What an incredibly sad and senseless tragedy. For Mo’s sake, so her life is not lost in vain, please everyone, take a lesson that envy and jealousy NEVER works out in your favour. There are plenty of fish in the sea, and a man who truly loves you will never make you jealous or resentful. Both women had so much potential to offer the this world, which will never be recognized, due to one being dead, and the other spending the rest of her life in prison, probably waking up each day, wondering how it all came to this.

What people failed to grasp about this woman Armstong, was that she was/is a sociopath. Months prior to the murder, she walked out on a botox appointment, never paying the bill. A grand theft arrest WARRANT was intitated and was active. When she was brought in for questioning (about the murder) she should have ben arrested and held for the botox bill WARRANT. Somehow the Austin police didn't execute the arrest for the outstanding grand theft/botox warrant. And she was released. She then fled.

I looked up a few of Colin's old interviews on CZcams and it's clear that he is---or was---a good guy. As a woman I found him funny, playful and lovable. I notice no one seems to want to take the time to look up his life before the events surrounding this tragedy. Let's remember that, contrary to Kaitlin's lawyers' pathetic attempts to cast aspersions on Colin in order to distract the public, Colin is a victim too, as Mo's good friend Cash clearly stated in her victim impact statement. He lost a valued friend, his girlfriend, his career & status and all his sponsors, which was a major financial blow. And all of it virtually overnight . His life will never be the same. How much suffering is enough to satisfy us? Be enough to finally stop implicating him? I thought we're not supposed to blame the victim? Or is that reserved just for people we like? I'd be angry, frustrated and resentful too if I were him. I pray he has a lot of love and support as he tries to build back his life after having it get robbed by a murderous psychopath who couldn't stand his fondness of a lovely girl who shared his love of the sport.
