Prosecutor Rickey Jones delivered the State’s closing argument in the #LoveTriangleMurderTrial, telling the jury “don’t let her run like she did 19 days before the trial”, in reference to #KaitlinArmstrong’s escape attempt.
Armstrong faces life in prison if convicted of murdering pro-cyclist #MoriahWilson in a jealous rage.
At the time of her death, Wilson was in Austin to compete in the 150-mile “Gravel Locos” bicycle race. Wilson, whose career was just taking off, had just reached top levels in both gravel and mountain biking in the U.S.
Investigators believe Wilson had unknowingly gotten caught up in a love triangle. She had dated Colin Strickland during a brief period of time when he and Armstrong were on a break. Armstrong and Strickland reconciled soon after, but according to an arrest affidavit, Armstrong became furious when she found out about the romance.
Armstrong faces up to life in prison if convicted of Mo Wilson’s murder.

The "boyfriend" purchased the gun for her. As a matter of fact, he purchased two guns, one for KA and the other for him. She went to the practice range with friends.
The defense attorneys were truly pathetic. They announced in their opening that their task was to convince the jury that there was "reasonable doubt." Since they had nothing to go on, as the prosecutor stated, all they could do was suggest outlandish scenarios, such as did they test every gun in the world before deciding it was Kaitlin's gun that was used in the murder.

This woman needs to go to jail. Not sure why she felt she can pled no guilty after everything she has done since the moments it all happened. She run away with her sisters passport she changed her appearance, fled to another country and she tried to scape from authorities again I mean come on… on the other hand ….. ladies there is some disturb people out there and you never know when you’ll cross your path with one. Don’t put yourself in a situation like this. I know the young lady didn’t do anything with the man but she definitely knew he had a jealous girlfriend and he was acting in a secret he was not being straight honest with his formal girlfriend and so this happen I bet Mo never thought that this could happen to her it is a shame so young and no one deserves to die like that but Mo you messed with the wrong person and the man he should be responsible. So many free men why pick the one that is not available now please not misunderstand I am not saying she deserved it. Jealousy has been a motive for murder. It’s even in the Bible. I find some of the comments shocking like it’s a surprise it can happen.
