- LIVE COURT CAM: Sentencing - Adam Montgomery will be in court to face sentencing for killing his 5-year-old daughter Harmony Montgomery. Prosecutors are asking a judge to send Adam Montgomery to prison for 56 years to life at his sentencing scheduled for May 9.
In Feb., a New Hampshire jury has found Adam guilty of all charges in the death of his 5-year-old daughter, Harmony Montgomery. After two days of deliberations, Adam was convicted of second-degree murder, second-degree assault, falsifying physical evidence, abuse of a corpse and witness tampering.

Why would they allow his ex wife’s victim statement to be read during sentencing. It was her opportunity to go on and on about their relationship and not Harmony’s murder. She couldn’t even say, “ I wish I would have done more for her”.

The victim impact statements (besides Kayla’s) left me in tears. Harmony touched so many lives. I hope Adam has the worst experience possible in prison.
The greatest impact on me was Jameson’s parents so devastating to hear them talk about what Harmony’s brother has asked and talking about his sister. God bless this beautiful child and his adoptive parents ♥️♥️

@AlexisRoark He has to serve 25 years of the 45-year sentence before he can start serving a sentence for anything else. She gave him 3 or 4 consecutive sentences today. So he'll serve 25 years. Then he'll serve another sentence. Then he'll serve another sentence, and then he'll serve another sentence. So he's probably going to either grow very old in prison or die there. He will probably serve at least 60 years before he is eligible for parole on all of his sentences.

Kayla should not have had a chance to give an impact statement as she helped conceal Harmony's body and didn't tell authorities what she saw. That was SOOOO DISRESPECTFUL TO HARMONY AND HARMONY'S MOTHER. How dare the court let that happen. The Judge should be ashamed
Kayla’s letter should not have been read in court. This was about Harmony not their warped relationship. The judge should have read this to herself and given it to the POS if she wanted. This was about Harmony’s life. Kayla needs to be back in jail with Adam. She’s just as sick as he is. The courts made a deal with the devil in regards to her

With a violent criminal history like that HOW in the hell did he get custody of a child???? What judge was that negligent????? Whoever it was that gave this man custody of that little girl should be removed from the bench forever! He is dangerous to the well-being and lives of children!
This is horrifying, horrifying for that little innocent girl. How scared she must have been. But the big question is: Why are so many children being murdered buy patents/family/close friends to the family/ guardians?? Why are child are child being erased because of idiotic people or what ever they are?!?
I have never cried at a victim impact statement, but Jamesons dads got me. Especially speaking for Harmony’s brother. Like wow, Adam please tell them where to find her body so they can visit her.

I wouldn't trust her with watching my dog let alone her children. And she still wants to talk to this monster...ughh so disgusting!!

Unfortunately our system has to keep him protected so that means he will likely be placed in protective custody (sharing a cell with another child k!ller and locked up almost 24/7

I feel that Kayla being allowed to have a statement read in court today showing her as a VICTIM is appalling!!!! Her statement was about herself, she barely mentioned Harmony at all!!! She should be in prison as well for not lifting a pinky to help that little girl! I was a victim of horrendous domestic abuse and I know all about being afraid, but when it came to my daughter, when it turned to her being mistreated I took her and RAN!!! There is no excuse for what she did or didn't do, she's just as guilty!!!
It's so sad that this letter is being read in court!!!!!!! It has almost nothing to do with HARMONY! My heart hurts for the family having to listen to it.
To me none of these people who cared about themselves first needed to speak out in court.
