The name of the AT-AT is the Factory Strider it also spawns devastators underneath. No idea about the weak spot but it does look like their might be shootable square vents on the sides of their back.
If I were to guess I would think the legs should be vulnerable, but maybe not
I took one out earlier. I used the spear, it locked on to and destroyed a turret on top of it. After that a couple of EATs to the face killed it.
@@monoespacial It looks more of an AT-TE than an AT-AT. Both are walkers, but this one doesn’t have a head for it and it got a top gun.
Edit: Saw the full one. It looks like an AT-AT.
The gunships are able to be shot down by the Autocannon with 2-3 shots to the engines. You cannot blow up the gunship towers with the Eagle 500k bomb, only with the Hellbomb can blow it up.
In My game te gunschip was blowen up with 1 schot of e quasar canon and with anti armor te 1 wherry you Gent 2 één schot weapons from
Gunship will target the hellbomb when it is active.
Great video, just disagree with the arc thrower being nerfed, it staggers pretty much anything now including Berserkers and Hulks. Good diving everyone!
Yeah but once you stagger a Hulk, you're making it harder for anyone with an autocannon/anti materiel/bazooka to get a headshot, plus you need to get within an extremely dangerous range. And if someone goes behind it to shoot it in the back, the arc might hit them. Lastly, by the time you take down the Hulk with the Arc, there's probably 50000 enemies around you.
@@monoespacial Honestly, I view this more as realistic. They’re probably trying to make it feel like a grueling war and not easy. I saw complaints about automatons being hard, but what if that is the intent of the developers to show them that this isn’t going to be easy due to this being a war?
Level 69. Nice.
PSA: I didn't destroy the fabricator with the AMR. It seems like someone else destroyed it at that same moment. 99% sure you can't destroy them with it, but I want to check if a better angle works.
Those ships have been here since forever, people just started to notice now
Daily reddit post about it and IGN notices it yesterday
Disappointed that they are ignoring the misaligned crosshairs on the mechs when it comes to rockets. You still can’t aim down and have to aim about 1/8 of a inch to the left of the crosshair when firing rockets.
Sounds appropriate to me. The rockets shoot from the shoulder. Maybe a second hash mark would help. Put a peace of tape were you want on monitor for now.
I'm personally more irked by the crosshairs on snipers and machine guns being horribly misaligned. I'm usually shooting rockets at something large with the mech. But when I want to shoot the eyes of a hulk from 100m away and the sniper hits wherever, it's incredibly annoying.
the order for Tibit was totally do-able the problem was lack of coordination between players.
They even brought up in the discord that 25% of our forces were busy with Malevelon instead of the primary objective. Then of course we had the Eastern bug front not helping
2 orbital lasers for the ATAT works on helldive mode, have not hung around long enough to spot weak points yet.
We obliterated one yesterday with an absolutely excessive amount of firepower. I called in a 110mm barrage and an eagle 500kg. Someone else called in an eagle strike, another 500kg and we got 2 rockets to it's face seconds before that. Needless to say it went down pretty quickly.
Great vid!
Don't pay attention to this guy the arc thrower is still viable and it's great at stunning enemies plus hulks
The 500kg was used in your video and it did not work. I've only used Hellbombs to take it out. Funny story, someone shot down a gunship, it dove right for me, crashed but didn't kill me. I considered myself lucky until it exploded. At which point I felt unlucky. Nothing is "unusable". You have to adjust to the changes. 35m is still pretty far and as I understood the Arc Thrower it was intended to be used against the lighter enemies, of which for the bots was the Troopers and nothing else. You can clear a dropship of light enemies really quick even with the "nerf" and soften the mediums pretty well. Which is what helps your team. You know this Mono, I've been watching you since Hell Let Loose and you know the Arc Thrower isn't meant to make you an OMAC.
They gave us BS orders to fail just to contextualize new units coming in.
Joel is just a Dungeon Master for real.
The gunship engines are vulnerable to pretty much anything with medium armor penetration and above.
I noticed shooting the pistons on its back with the auto cannon seemed to have an effect, but I could be wrong. Seemed like it was getting rocked tho
“How do we destroy this?”
Me, everytime: “Calling in a Hellbomb”
Despite the flame thrower firedamage being stronger, it feels like its taking longer to kill the bugs, usually a sweep or two woulf be enough to finish a warrior but not anymore
Do these still spawn if the major order is complete? Haven’t seen them in my recent games but maybe that’s just by chance
just had a match on ubanea and got that new mission to destroy their fabricators, dangerous buggers.
There’s an actual mission to destroy those? I’ll definitely be looking for those now.
I dont think thats illuminate ships cus i just saw 1 of those ships shooting at something and their lasers were red
Someone use a Lazer Canon on the Gunships
it seems like they're giving us a few major orders until they hand us an impossible one, and then once we inevitably fail that, they roll in equipment/enemy upgrades.
Agreed, at first I thought it was cool. But that literally means us liberating planets does not matter. It's all fake.
I'm thinking we were never meant to liberate tibit now.
@@TheCosta5000 just look at the rate of liberation. It's def rigged.
While i had to take a round or two to get use to the arc thrower i massively disagree on any idea that its useless, the fact you can now stagger a hulk, heavy devastator, and berserkers is insanely useful. I no longer need to worry about using my rail cannon shot and can save it for using it on tanks because i can use the arc thrower to deal with other threats which makes my resource management become a lot better now.
When there's rocket devastators coming at you, what good does staggering a few enemies do? Especially when it takes so long to kill Hulks with the Arc. Yes, it's very useful but it goes from being very good at dealing with small groups to being a death sentence when dealing with multiple drop ships. We had 4 Hulks, A Fabricator Tank or whatever it's called + easily 20> heavy and rocket devastators plus 3 tanks coming at us while we tried to complete an objective yesterday. The Autocannon allowed me to destroy many enemies and several hulks, while my squadmates with the Qwasar handled Hulks and Tanks. I can't really see an Arc thrower being useful in that situation.
You know stun locking is a thing? I’ve stun lock killed plenty of berserkers with the arc shotgun
Seems like solo stealth is dead, spotted every time by flyers.
But what does it mean, man? Joel is up to something.
The warships been in tbe game sinxe day one
Thats just it the major order was achievable its just fucking bugdivers and creekers had other plans
Having to defend Draupnir was going to really set back any progress made on Tibit, and by the time the Defense campaign on Draupnir was over, we would have barely had any time to capture Tibit. It was doable, but would've taken an unusually high % of the playerbase to get done in time. They didn't need to launch that Defense of Draupnir. They did it specifically to make Tibit fall, in my opninion.
Returned to ship covered in blood. I was fighting bots. Whose blood is this?
The blood of democracy
... that nerf isn't nerfing the arc into the ground ... ot still has lots of tange for what it is supposed to be an Arc-Thrower ... you know like a Flame Thrower ?
I wish they would increase the range on the flame thrower tbh. What I would've done, I would've nerfed distance from 50m to 40m. Set flamethrower to also 40m. Nerf Arc Thrower damage by 15% or so, and increase stagger very very slightly. Tweak damage and stagger over time to keep it balanced after that.
You can kill a Spawn with the AMR now?!
No,you can't, I was checking to see if it worked and someone else destroyed it.
did you just destroyed a fabricator with a anti material rifle?
Was surprised by that too. Cool.
No, I didn't, I was checking to see if it worked and someone else destroyed it.
@@monoespacial oh ok ok.
but its now head cannon that only you can do it XD
Such a clever concept. Just add some models from time to time. Awesome ones like the AT-AT that is. It's still some work I believe, developing them from the sketchboard to actually moving, animated adversaries. Kinda like in Monster Hunter just with less recoloring so they keep us entertained.
Primary nerf is fine, the slugger is still very good, now people need to aim for weak spots just like every other gun.
Players shouldn't be choosing a gun because it is more powerful. The core gameplay is to balance the range of weapons a team uses, not one that will work better than everything else.
Buff only no nerf will eventually meet with buffing all enemies to maintain challenges, which practically nerf all guns at once, or likely end up with super short ttk/bullet sponge extreme power creep.
Finally, a voice of reason. People just don't like their favorite guns getting nerfed, when others aren't. Slugger is my favorite gun, but the knockback was TOO strong.
These last few updates/major orders honestly prove that what mission you play literally doesn't matter, they will shift the numbers how they see fit based on releases. Play what mission you want dudes.
Instead of nerfing popular weapons why not make the others ones more usable so everyone plays the weapon that best suits them instead of the weapon that makes it easiest to survive.
I really hope the arc thrower isn’t really useless. It was my termanid faithful along with incendiary breaker.
