oxtail is great, not only Jamaican eat it, it's eaten in Asia cultures and south American cultures.

Yes! RAPS is definitely the place to visit for Jamaican 'pan' chicken in Toronto. In jamaica, we would describe this as pan chicken rather than jerk chicken. There are slight differences in preparation.
Yessss to that Beres Hammond in the background. I don't buy oxtail often from restaurants because my family cooks it partially, let it cool a little and skim the fat off the top and continue braising it. Everyone doesn't take off the fat.
Oxtail is delicious. My favourite Jamaican place in Toronto is Caribbean Queen Jerk Drum

I seriously think Toronto might me the most diverse city I've ever seen! Its amazing this city is like a Jerk. So many spices and flavors that originate from so many different cultures combine to make something beautiful.
Toronto is great in that way. Whenever I visit, I like going to the so-called 'bad' neighbourhoods. They're much more diverse than the wealthy ones and because of that, there are a lot of great places to eat in these areas. I also find the people in these neighbourhoods to be really friendly too.
gk891 Yes people in general are mirrors. In that they reflect whatever behaviors they observe. Even in the worst places if you go in with an open mind most people will give you an open heart.
Indeed. And I actually find a lot of people in the 'bad' neighbourhoods in Toronto to be a lot friendlier than most people from the wealthy neighbourhoods. Last year, I was on a streetcar in Toronto but it broke down so I started walking since I wasn't sure when the next one would be arriving. It turned out I was in one of the most dangerous neighbourhoods in Toronto but I found people there to be super-friendly (I got lost multiple times and had to ask for directions). And there are so many hidden gems/amazing hole in the wall places in these areas too!
You figured out something that alot of people don't realize. Those hole in a wall places have some of the best food. Congrats!
