Absolutely wicked!
Not sure id reuse the crush washers myself but thats a judgement call. Nice looking bike and of course thenparts don't die at a convenient time.
Great videos Spicey really have enjoyed following the project hope you can do more in the future 👍
Bike looks beautiful mate.
Great job spicy, loved watching the journey you went on to get your pride & joy to be a thing of envy for us all! Worth the all the effort & your lockdown time was well spent. Being a triumph 675 rider I’m looking forward to your views on the speed twin & thruxton, they’re tempting me
Looks great mate.
Great video looking forward to next one stay safe 🇬🇧👍🏻
Woohoo! Bike looks brill!
Great job :-) Have you covered chain tensioning/rear wheel alignment in another video? If not, it would make an interesting video.
Nice video...I use blocks of wood under the wheels ...saves my back....
Could you try and do a review on the lexmoto cypher I think that might be interesting
SYRIAN!!!!!!
Would you ever consider wrapping the bike/ changing the look? Or would you rather keep the blue and white look? I saw another motorlovgger recently hand wrap his mt09 for a little project and it looked amazing
Bike looks the full BEEF now matey :-)
I passed my CBT yesterday! I'm struggling to decide what to do now though. I'm tempted to get a 125cc quite cheap in my area for half a year or maybe a year or whether to go straight for a DAS course.. I need a lot of practice to get good. I still struggle with u-turns and getting in correct positions and staying in momentum. What would you recommend I do?
Get instruction do the DAS if over 25 if not try and go for.your test on the 5-7 day course as the amount of pre test tuition is amazing for confidence and buy a winter hack thats capable of 70.
She's looking pretty
man your 08 looks spanky clean then mine 08 ,lol
how many hours would the restoration take without filming?
Depends on the condition of the bike and your skills. Filming maybe doubles or triples the time but also most people can not do 5+ hrs a day on it 5 days a week.
@@spicy110 hmm yeah I bought the DRZ just for greenlaning, so probably I shouldn't even think about cleaning it up. All that rust is annoying me though. However I think it's best to enjoy it and just repair (and clean) what breaks. I have already spent 400 pounds servicing the suspensions, I guess it's enough :P
How do you get Insurance for your cbt if you don't have a cbt yet thanks
Normally you rent a bike from them as this covers all legal issues and means if you drop the bike at least it isn't yours haha
@@spicy110 thanks for the reply
@@spicy110 I dropped the bike on my CBT, and was charged for a new lever protection bar. So the CBT insurance does not always cover damaged parts. Might be worth asking the school before hand. I was obviously covered for (as you say) legal issues. Anyways... I passed and now tootle around on my Lexmoto Michigan.
A insurance quote for a learner on a 125 usually covers doing your CBT, confirm with your Insurance company but I did that in the past
@@OutpostH got myself a dt125r in blue it is mint condition too
You gotta shorten that front mudguard. Much better look.
First 😎
