As an alien from the planet Xnoq, I've learned one thing during my stay in Arkansas, Earth. 1) Do not flee from a State Trooper while on the highway in Arkansas. 2) When running low on fuel, we usually stop at the nearest plutonium asteroid and refuel.
ASP doesn't keep the highway closed for long in cases like this. They'll typically pull their cruisers to one of the shoulders after they've secured the suspects and if the wrecked car is blocking the highway they'll try to push it off with a cruiser or at least open one lane. A lot of agencies could learn a thing or two from ASP.

The actual problem in so many of these situations is that the perp was never taught respect for authority. She didn't have any illegal items in the car and didn't seem drunk. She just did not want to comply when being pulled over.

She passed the first exit that had several gas stations at it, and right before she got pitted if she had slowed down to pull off she could have got gas there too😂😂

Actually it doesn't, it uses more while accelerating than it does at any speed. What you just said hasn't been true since multipoint fuel injection and computer controlled vehicles started.
