Great team work. That was actually funny to see this guy thinking that jumping out would give him a chance to run. People can use this clip to show young people why you don't try to run when the police want you to stop and talk to them. Much less painful.
He started competing for the Darwin award when he ran, and certainly earned it with the leap from a truck moving backward at speed. Nice pit, and at least the Trooper did not have a difficult apprehension.
Well, John Brandon Garrett, out of Texarkana, when jumping out of a moving vehicle you have two options … stick the landing or tuck and roll. Never rely on your face to break your fall.

Sometimes things just work out as they should 👍
And _EVERYTHING_ is his own fault.
I don't think he jumped out. The force from the truck spinning slammed him against the door and since he wasn't wearing a seatbelt...out he came!
It definitely looked like he was thrown out of the truck.
I agree. I think he was thrown out.
Didn't he have to open the door? Maybe you mean he didn't intend to dive out like that but was hoping for a graceful exit?
You might be right about that.
Seat belts are a smart choice.
Oh well, if he’d have pulled over as he should have he’d be on his way with just a traffic ticket….not sorry.
I hope that idiots like this are also charged for the costs of any ambulance, fire service and any other emergency call-outs?
I once face planted to the floor just from falling off a chair… my nose and teeth were bleeding so badly, and while my nose eventually stopped bleeding, I almost had to go into the dentist for my teeth.
So I was PRETTY disappointed that the blurred the suspects face. I’ve seen many other graphic videos like these get uploaded uncensored, and In my opinion I find the uncensored videos more impacting 🤷♂️
Now on the other hand, I think the officer and EMS did an amazing job in handling the situation
They all were moving slow like they didn't care
It’s nice that humans driving by are looking after the officer
"you have the right to remain silent..."
😂
The song "choices" by george jones comes to mind when i see this.
Nice to see truckers being the knights of the highway again!👍👊🙏🏻❤️
Was waiting for a...
DON'T TOUCH ME!
didnt play the race card but played the face card for once !!!!
That faceplant makes a great background for my computer. The gargling / snoring sounds are a bonus track.
It sounds like the death snore.
This wins hands down for the most often I've ever rewound a video!
Me too.
Bad part about it, He didn't have anyone to Hold His Beer before he tried to jump out...
First aid at its best😂 "hang in there" "hey buddy, stay with me" 😂
First aid ? It's apparent the Trooper didn't have much knowledge in those matters, Jesus Christ EMS didn't do the guy any favors either.
@@oveidasinclair982 Easy from your couch.
Remember your ABC’s
Ambulance be coming!
In ebonics it would be Amalance be comeins@@erictheawful69
Cops aren't paramedics.
No closure in aftermath, did they cite him for no seatbelt?
Oh boy, the title did not disappoint. Good one. Thank you.
“Be sure to keep all hands and feet inside till the ride come to a complete stop”
Hasn’t he ever been to an amusement park?!?
Regardless of how the guy ended up like he did, in a situation where seconds could mean the difference between life and death, could those EMT's move any slower? Outrageous! Where is the professionalism let alone human empathy? Disgusting!
True.they took their sweet time😂😂😂
They see this day in, day out. They get jaded. It's unfortunate but true.
They’re supposed to be faster than what they were!
If the difference between life and death is seconds that patient isn't going to survive the transport.
Based on the agonal breathing, it's unlikely there's anything they can do to save him.
WHo was the driver of the truck and did he make it?
I would like to know as well. His name is John Brandon Garrett. Can't find any info on his status or this wreck. This guy fell out the truck he didn't jump. Anyone who believes he opened the door to jump is as dumb as that trooper for the pit at such a high rate of speed and all the stupid talk between the troopers. The guys family should sue ...... he's hurt badly.
This is a prefect example of what my Dad always told me. “ never buy a Toyota truck!”
The other drivers, for the most part are pulling over .. respect for the law in Arkansas!
State Law in Minnesota
The opposite side of traffic is clogged up from rubbernecking 😅
Hats off to the blue that had the upmost respect and compassion for the guy that ran from him
“Send an ambulance” in that tone was hilarious
Holy "F"!!! I went back and slo-mo'ed that one. He bounced his face twice before sliding a good three feet on it. Playing neighborhood football I've stubbed my face a time or too and it hurt but asphalt was never involved, and I never dribbled it then slid it between the goal posts.
Great team work. That was actually funny to see this guy thinking that jumping out would give him a chance to run. People can use this clip to show young people why you don't try to run when the police want you to stop and talk to them. Much less painful.
Uh he didn't jump out he was thrown out and died.
@nicholehernanhedez8213 well he must have released the door, those things don't usually burst open otherwise
This guy probably didn’t make it. That breathing definitely sounds like the end of life. Just sat by my dad and listened to this exact same breathing until he passed this morning.
Very sorry for Your loss.
I sure miss mine.. & my Mother
@racinggirl63 so sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss 😢
Perfect!!!!! Great Job!!! ASP
I can't tell whether or not his plan was successfully executed.
@slowuncle cruel but note worthy.
Respect to the tow driver being involved with helping ems. Def not his first rodeo
he seemed to be a better medic than the crew
Call the EMS, every second counts! Except in this case!
That was brutal 🤯😳
Mom: Do you have any memory what happened.
Son: No. But there’s an amazing video.
There is still good in this world. The truckers slowing down to check on the trooper, the trooper trying to reassure the suspect, the suspect .. well …
That's gonna leave a mark
I hope someone asks the perp. Was it worth it?
