Dude, I watch several channels that are "fix old cars" related. Yours is the first that makes me really miss having a project car! Absolutely love your videos brother, keep up the good work!
That is a huge compliment! Thanks!!🤘🏼🤘🏼
As Chief Deputy Fun Police, I approve of your non-tape installation. 😅
1 step up from tape 😂
Sorry, Amazon didn't give an option to add a note on that
I'm glad you got another sponsor but what were the odds...🤣
THANK YOU! Ive been wanting one for a while!
And yes! I was soo caught off guard 😂😂
The old mustang is shaping up quite nicely =)
I think so too 🤘🏼
Your my idol I don’t think I would’ve not lost it on that piece of medal when you walked away 😂
Ohhhhh man i was close to losing it 😂
Keep up the good job man ! Your videos are great ! Thanks again to Sarah for recommending your channel !
🤘🏼
You can't have too many torque wrenches. High fives to the generous folks.
Waiting patiently for the "Oh no... I scratched the Paint" shirts!
….in the works😂
Cool who’d have thunk it, 2 torque wrenches in one day. Looks like a good way to patch up that hole. Coming along nicely.
Thunk😂
Love seeing this thing take shape! Regarding the low front end hitting the engine hoist...I've had some relatively low cars and just keep a couple of 2x8s in the garage so I could drive up on those and then get a jack underneath. In your case, you could jack up the front, add a couple of blocks under the wheels, then set it down and have plenty of room for the hoist. Wouldn't need much since it's so close already.
Great idea! Ill definitely have to keep a pair of 2x4’s
Nice work on that patch panel! Looking forward to part 2
Thanks! Should be up early next week!
Hi Angel, one step closer to the finish. Great new additions to your tool box. I'm guessing that you are going to do some tap tap tapping to get those edges closer together. You could fill the space with weld, by why do it if you don't have to. Regards, Dave
I so wished I lived near you. I’ve sooo many metal working tools to share. Alas, there’s the majority of the continent, and a border in the way.
Oh man thatd be sick! Only a couple thousand miles!
Yay! New Angel video! I'm really enjoying this content, thank you 😊
🤘🏼
ohhh noo take care with those fumes - try using a fume mask. Thanks again for posting for us all and look forward to the next video
Yes, i was being dumb and in a hurry will definitely wear one next time cause my lungs were hurting lol 😂
Awesome video!! Everything is really looking great! I highly recommend some welding magnets, they will really help with holding the metal in place for you.
Thanks! Yes! Great suggestion, I definitely needed something else 😂
@@rookie__pilot Yeah I've literally been experiencing the same issues lately and got the magnets and it was a game changer hahaha
Great job Angel your firewall panel is looking good! You also did a nice job of fitting it, looking forward to part two, always enjoy your videos.
Thank you Jeffrey !
I always love when someone says 2/3 of my name.
🤨

AHHHHH I GET IT LOL 😂😂😂
I welded for a few years, and I learned early on wear gloves, hot slag burns deep, and hurts too.
I agree! Ive had lots fall into my shoe for some reason. I usually only go bare hands when the gloves dont allow me to hold something
My 1st thought was JB weld in that gap. I`m no expert.
I mean it would work 😂
Cut to shape, hammer to fit, paint to match! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! 🤘🏼
Here from Sarah's channel and sub'd!
🫡
GOOD JOB!
👍🏻👍🏻
You don't cut corners, nice job.
🤘🏼
Good video, I remember you on Shara-N-tuned, you guys are great. congrates on your channel.
Thanks!
For a second, I thought you were gonna close the hatch on that piece of steel and use it as a break to put structure into that panel.
😂😂😂😂
Your stitch welding spot on
R u doing roll-cage engine bay bracing maybe could have incorporated. Lot more work money though.
😎🍺👍🇦🇺
Roll-cage! I see a tube bending video in the future!
Stitch welding spot on for old to new metal r u going to put in roll cage and engine bracing maybe could have incorporated mor work and money.
😎🍺👍🇦🇺
Definitely want to add a roll cage! It will be a budget and scrap project most likely but thats the plan!
Check out vintage air.
Hey Angel food cake, Sarah sent me. Now you owe her a Boba, tell her it's from Dave. Get some 6011 stick weld rod beat the flux off and weld over it. That's how I do it.
I'm an old fart.....and I had to look up oil canning.
Never too old to learn something new.
Learning something new is how you stay young! Atleast i think so lol
Great video
Thank you!
Nice progress Angel. Wonder if you could put a filler strip of metal behind that big gap to weld to?
Ding ding! I like that!
A transplant from Sarah’s channel. 😂
Welcome! 😂
Heater? Who needs a heater. Your motor will be yr heater. 😅 I deleted the heater in my Camaro. 👍
Exactly 😎😎
The cut and butt technique might have worked good here. You screw the piece in place with the edge overlapping about a half inch...the go around with the thin cut off wheel on a 45 degree angle taking 6 inches out doing a tack... you just go to the other side and remove the excess that was cut off. Plenty of people using it...look up Fitzee's fabrication on CZcams amongst others and get the run down. It changed my Life.
This is a GREAT idea! Ill have to try that! 👍🏻👍🏻
Sarah sent me over to you
Welcome!
I don't think I have been paying attention....is this gonna be a track car?
Hmm yes, and no. It will see the track! But mostly a “canyon carver” atleast for now
Oh no we scratched our paint 🤣
Whoops 😂
@@rookie__pilot I was drinking some Mountain Dew when I heard that part and I almost choked to death 😵🤣🤦🏻
@@ryanmassey1022 my bad😂😂😂
Angel is not old enough to know what oil-canning is....
Definitely CAN oil can, but not in my worries
take those chinesium torque wrenches to the pawn shop and buy a snap-on.
Haha you think i can afford a snap on 😂😂
