Yonin def shouldn't give the debuffs it does. And I'm not a huge fan of this ninja wheel DPS. I like it as a bonus to the job but it def feels more focused as the job

at 75 provokes lack of comulative enmity makes it less useful on long fights. Your better off subbing nin for shadows while using flash and cures for hate. I was always pld/nin except dynamis where I voked statues before the blms nuked them
@39:18 I camped Argus straight for a month before I got my first drop. Literally a months time I spent to where I was laying in my bed, bed ridden with PCC aspirations, doing nothing but camping Argus. I had 2 PS2s and a PC each with a character on them in the different spawn points. Long spawns really are the bane of this game. Do I regret doing that? No, but I will never camp Argus again like that because it is insanity and the person who made that decision should be locked up under the Geneva Convention for torture charges.
Getting 10/15 claims in a row is the highlight of my 75 era playing time, loved Argus…watching people claim and die thinking he was an easy prey was hilarious….got 3 belts no drama, it’s a quality ffxi memory.
What do people prefer on war tank, do they use great axe or axe/shield? Is it worth it to run a shield?
WAR tanking in the earlier levels is axe/shield, most WAR move to Great Axe rather quickly
My PLD is about to hit 40 so I'm very grateful for the Enlight changes. Now I just need five people for BCNM 40 lol

Its 1,000 needles every 3 charges. So that's every 2:15 mins not every min Vs Sheep charge for 250-300 every 45 secs. There is a very small bonus for using a cactuar jug out side of something like Kirin. Additionally, Cactuar jug only lasts 30 mins vs other jugs that last 45/60 mins.
Yikes on that duration. And ty for clarifying about the amount of time it takes, I thought BST charges were 20s.

Enlight II Gives acc bonus, enlight dosen't give enmity or acc. just extra damage as light but the 10 enmity seems nice to be honest.
Here on Horizon it gives acc as well.
The problem with Ninja is that over the years, SE has changed what they originally wanted the job to be a few times. It started out as a dps/de-buff role. Kinda like RDM but instead of healing/de-buff it was dps/de-buff. Kinda useless cause who does anything without a RDM there for the Refresh. So at the end of the day it was a crap DPS only. That's why SE changed it into a shadow tank. Which I think is where it needs to be. A Tank. The game sorely lacks tank roles. These changes are great at low level and mid-range, and then once you're 75 the tank role kinda just works better for NIN. Definitely positive changes here for NIN.
The BST changes were definitely needed. When you watch streams of this game if you didn't know better you would think the game was called. Final Beastmaster 11: Tales of the Beastmasters.
Eastern Shadow. Has something like a 16 to 32 hour pop window... Name a ranger that doesn't need a Ebow?

Love the content the issue I have is the team is what 1000 strong and many have played retail and other out of era games for many years, they should have known these imbalances before opening up the game , and share the roadmap before people are a few months in on the game. I really don’t know what is coming next. For bst I’m okay with removing an ability but it should be replaced immediately with something else. Anyhow, the server population will ultimately decide if these are good moves. Keep up the good vids.
Yeah I don't think they expected so many people and have had to spend more time than average bug fixing. I genuinely feel like we've been playing an "early access" game and so much of this is on par with something like that on say Steam.

So just listened to your take on bst finally. I get that feeling you compared to rng about buying ammo. And yes you are right except bst pays more on average for it. Let's say I'm in an xp pt as bst (a normal pt)
I can use my ability once every 5 mins to summon a pet. What tanks like to do is let the pet tank and it dies..... Every 5 mins I need to summon a pet and that far outweighs the cost of a rng ammunition. If I use pet food on it (reward acts as a provoke in a pt so pet just draws more agro)
So now all you have done is push bst back into bst burn only pts where they go into camps 12+ levels above them and kill fast rather than make them play with the community.
The better solution should have been make BL not work with every pet only allow a few. Give it a good mix so if that tank kills my pet I can say cool wait 30 mins or tell them next time it dies you wait for bl
Yes, agreed that BST should get a little help here. My thought was to have Bestial Loyalty be a second 2hr? But yes I think they learned alot about what they want with BST and hopefully is only positive from here.
A BST could lose their "Ammo" on the 1st pull mob of the day.
If a RNG burns through 1 stack of arrows on the 1st mob....he should probably disband, and start LFG......😀
Your pet can also die well within the recast of Call Beast....which means you have no pet for many pulls.
What those devs may not understand about BST, is the pet is more important than the actual Master. The Master simply gives commands, the pet does the debuffing, dmg, healing, etc for the most part.
My take is, the Horizon devs do not wholly understand all the jobs. The XI retail devs did...for the most part......& adjusted to the players. NIN was meant to be a magic DD iirc, but players forced the devs to make it a tank. WAR was supposed to be a tank, but players forced the devs to make it more of a DD. BST was costly, devs make it cheap.

@@ikeaira8701 Yeah, some (Not all) of these servers are former players having an orgasm by playing puppet master on jobs. "Lets change this, because we can." They are doing what they probably cried out to the XI devs not to do on the forums lol......
So much for era+ on Beastmaster.
Yeah well... me and plenty of people are already sick of seeing nothing but all BST parties Everywhere you go.
