Ernest John Marquez I heard that if you mod it you can’t use online things like psn. That doesn’t bother me but would it affect my psn acc because I still use it on my ps4.

@Claire Redfield Yes, you can assuming that the game's community is still active. I was able to play Freedom Wars online and meet a few players still playing, as well as Killzone:Merc but Killzone:Merc doesn't have online players anymore.

So I wanted to say thank you very. This is a very detailed tutorial. If you follow every detail you will be fine. At first, I couldn't get my PC to recognize my USB connection but I didn't have a PS Vita memory card in and you have to have at least a small PS Vita Memory card before you can use the SD card adapter (at least in the OLED model). Great video Bro!

Crazy awesome! Wish I could've done this a year ago when I sold my blue Vita. I bought it specifically to hack but come to find out my firmware version was too new and the dude who designed the hack was still working on making a compatible version. It's a really fun handheld tho and man this looks so easy to do now!

I'm assuming it's essentially a portable console (like the Switch) I'm honestly excited cause while my Switch is impressive it does feel comfortable however I've held a Vita before from my friend and remember it feeling very comfortable the Switch is cool but it doesn't seem like a good investment

@@racketraccoon519 Think of the Vita as the kid who went from nobody to Hollywood superstar when it grew over its 8 years of adulthood. The switch is a great system and has awesome games! The switch is what it is today partly due to the Vita.

Two words simply beautiful. I remember life before I had this thing, but only vaguely. The seller didn't tell me too much it's kind of scary and rightfully so I guess because the firmware situation and whatnot. So when I stumbled upon the PKG and for whatever it is there was on that device I bought, that's when the love affair started. If that program (PkG)could talk this is what it would say "Hey buddy you like Persona, we got Persona!!! You like Y's we got Y's. Whatever you like, we got you covered. Just received a NSL ($250 Amazon) in the mail but I can't hook it up cuz I can't put the damn Vita down.
Well mine is the first version the phat i think it almost 5 yrs to me hahaha but yeah they are just same the slim is just good for battery life while the phat is the oled with good quality screen

I can only assume it's because the hack is on that memory card?
I think but not totally sure that the new models with the 1GB storage gets ignored when you slap in a memory card. So in sense the Vita can only boot from one source. Either internal or memory card.
From my basic understanding this hack doesnt stay on your system. As soon as you reboot the hack is gone and you have to reapply the hack again to use it.
So you may have to run the exploit again by copying it over to a new memory card?

The same happened to me. I clicked yes (close it) and everything worked from then on. I didn't need to re-open QCMA, just kept following along.
Hey i fixed it.. accept force close then open finalhe and click allow private and public networks and everything should work fine :)))))
When he went to go check his version he said I’m on 3.68 like it was old. I hadn’t used my vita in so long I was on versions 2.02 🤣🤣

I just purchased a PSVita Slim yesterday and it has firmware 3.70. I'm new to this and if anyone could help I have a few questions.
- If I don't update it will it not let me connect to the internet?
- Which is the best firmware version?
- Am I still allowed to play the games I "legally" download online? 😉 If so how?

Best firmware for me is 3.68. Most ppl like 3.60 and 3.65 because you can give it a more permanent hack. Once modded you can still legally download games and connect to the internet and psn just fine. It's very easy to do.
Most people agree that 3.60 is the best. You should update to 3.73 and then downgrade to 3.60. Use this guide called vita.hacks.guide , a well known guide for modding a vita. You can 'download' games directly onto the vita using pkgj homebrew app on the vita.

WinRar in my opinion is better and i have the free version for years. but both of them are free to my knowledge.

Edit: I don’t have henkaku settings but I have h-encore for some reason.
Edit 2: I found the solution. Just press the blue reset button on the top three times and if it is still black, try tapping the rear screen or the front screen.

Anubiz will it affect your psn acc because I heard you can’t use online features on the vita which I don’t mind but I still use that acc for ps4 .
I seem to have a little issue with this tutorial, when I go to open up the FinalHE program it tells me to force close QCMA program I don't know if this is correct or not as the tutorial doesn't seem to have this occur.
i got the same message. Did it work at the end?
Plug the vita in and open content manager, then open final h and force close qcma then it should work
When i try to open FinalHE i get a tab that says “WARNING: gcma is running, force close it now?” And if i press no, FinalHE doesn’t open
I had the same problem, I tried downloading content manger assistant to see if that would help, but the Final HE program didn't recognize the ps vita

Make sure you don't have a game card in. Mine did the same thing until I removed it.
This happened to me too. I had to make sure to discount my cord before starting it. Reinstall and try that.

If this problem occurs
1: Disconnect USB Cable From Vita
2: Connect To PC With Wi-Fi
3: Copy/Overwrite H-Encor
4: Launch H-Encor
5: Done
I had the same problem until I watched a different youtuber on hacking the device. You gotta hold on to the Right shoulder button before you start up H-Encore. Hope that helps.
It says “you need a memory card to use this application” when trying to copy content from the pc to the vita I have the slim version so I’m not sure what to do can anyone help?

make sure you have no game in the VITA and also untick that trim h-encore to ~7MB

David never say never because there is always a chance you can get banned. Especially if you cheat online or with trophies.
