Great video! I would love a breakdown of the plug-in Vita Grafix. I have 3.60 with Enso and spoofing 3.73 enabled, what I'm told is one of the crown jewels of compatibility set ups. Maybe I shouldn't spoof 3.68 or 3.65, but I get an error on booting gamws now. Of course there's a dozen variables that affect my case, but that's where you come in. I would love a best practices video from you for plug in management, particularly testing things like Retro arch, Adrenaline, and Vita Grafix
VitaGrafix does have some compatibility problems with some game updates.
Normally, the error doesn't prevent the game's booting, you can also disable the overlay for the specific app to not see it anymore...
You can either try to uninstall your game's updates, disable the overlay and still try to apply patches or not applying patches for that specific game.

just wondering, but my vita is on 3.60 with Enso, would you be able to do a video which would show how get the Vita back to stock would i need to delete anything i added since i hacking my Vita prior to doing any software upgrade. thanks and keep up the awesome videos really enjoy watching these since, well, ya know, can't really be going outside much cuz of the corona

Another great video. I would like your opinion, I have a few vita systems and just ordered some sd2vita adapters. My question is, one of my systems are on 3.60 and I installed something on it a few years ago ( molekule something henkaku something and adrenaline something) lol so what is my first step to remove all those somethings and then should I leave it on 3.60 or upgrade?
U can restore the system via format options to get rid of it all. I personally like 3.68 but u can stay on 3.60 and just rehack directly from henkaku.xyz
My H-encore2 reboots my Vita a lot. I downgraded to H-encore 13mb and it still does it, not as much, but it still reboots. That's the only reason why I would like the permanent hack.
It only does that whenever u run it. Not a big deal. Hold R while opening it. It helps

Would you still recommend PS Vita firmware 3.68 or would you now install FW 3.74? as you have said 3.73 was a bit glitchy. Great Videos.
Hey tech savvy buyer ive been following your videos on the ps vita, you talked about switching from SD to vita on ps vita shell once everything was set up, do I also do this with the oled vita? Only have a 4GB memory card is that all the storage I have for games?
Once u switch then u can install whatever u want on the sd card
Just FWI it’s not permanent; it’s is permanent that it keeps the hack and changes the boot logo- but if you update back to 3.73 then modoru back it replaces the logo back to normal. It doesn’t do anything that cannot be undone. I’ve removed 3.65 and 3.60 perm FW
You should downgrade back to 3.60, 3.73 is an unstable hack and Enso provides more options like a better sd2vita compatibility, custom text warnings and if you don't like the enso logo, you can try to use YAMT (fast sd2vita plugin) + CBS-Manager to change it out (it will still display for a split second, there's a way to completely change it but doing so risks bricking your Vita...)

@@tonytaormina4759 I got the downgrading part down. I meant restoring the VITA to official firmware like 3.73 or even 3.60 w/out henkaku & or enso on it. Just a factory stock vita.
TheRandomname951 when you downgrade using modoru you are doing just that, just do a system restore after you downgrade and then boom factory reset on whatever fw you want
I mod my vita oled with ur video and after I changed my vita memory 4GB to a 32GB one I got the mod retroarch adrenaline were gone

Had the same issue. Easiest way and some people call it the "lazy" way is using the SD2VITA option in autoplugin 2. Super simple. Just make sure you've flashed and formatted your MicroSD card. Also make sure you have copied everything from your previous Uxo (1gb memory) to the SD2VITA.
I am a fan of the Trails of Cold Steel series and I have the first and second on PSvita, which I hacked for the extra dlc, but my third and fourth are on PS4. The fourth series allows for extra bonus if you have 1-3, but I would need to cross-save using my PSN. Would doing that lead to my account being banned?

I recently tried to fixed my modded PS Vita 1000 from consistently getting that infamous GPU Crash after about an hour of playing. I followed other CZcams Videos and Reddit forums, trying to solve it with different alternatives. I obviously did something wrong, so I followed your videos to get my PSV re-modded. Thank you! You think maybe you can do a video tutorial on the infamous GPU Crash?

I have the slim Metal Slime edition Vita and I was wondering if modding it would take off the Metal Slime theme for it?
As far as I've seen nothing like themes are affected. The only thing that has changed is the PS boot logo if you install ENSO on 3.60/65. Even then you can still make custom boot logos too.

All 3. I've found decent vitas on offer up for $100. Ebay is if you are looking for the purdeeeeee colours. They will run you about $125 to $180 depending on condition, color, and whats included with the vita. Haven't checked gamestop yet.

Go to your ps vita settings and go to system then make sure your 'USB power supply' is turned off. That is what was keeping me from modding my vita.

I've never signed up to Patreon any you-tuber before. But I have way too little skill to mod my good ole 1000 Vita. My 64g chip is going bad and half the games have to be redownloaded. This is driving me nuts! If I switch over to a Standard SD for storage with the 256g chip, will I still have access to PS Store to redownload everything?

In order to install emulators in adrenaline, do you have to hack the PSP firmware? I'd like to turn my Vita into a retro-station but I haven't seen any proper way of doing it outside of retroarch which apparently has trouble playing SNES & GBA games? I have heard that using PSP-based emulators can result in better compatibility so that's why I'm asking.
No, adrenaline is already hacked psp. You can use a vita app called psp homebrew browser to install stuff to psp like emulators. I find vita retroarch fine, but try both and tell me if psp is better for emulation! :D

I recently bought a used PSV (MODEL PCH-1001) with the intention of putting classic PS1 games like resident evil 1, 2, 3, Castevania SOTN, etc; also to be able to play some SNES classics, (yes im that old i grew on those). I am looking for help from you because the seller told me that the PSV is already "hacked" and I do not want to change something i shouldn't and risk breaking it in someway.
I saw some videos on youtube and all PSV videos on this channel to get some directions on vita modding, and as far as i know it has on it:
h-encore2, enso, VitaShell, modoru (some japan symbol), iTLS-Enso, PKG (I do not know what all this stuff is for but i know it comes from mods.)
on system software said 3.60 (2 japan symbols) -11
as for the hardware it came with a 4GB memory card, in which according to the seller, told me that the "hack" is installed! also he gave me a white PSV adaptor card, and a 16GB micro SD he told me like 6 times "do not use that white card because u need another hack to run games from it" or something like that then he just go offline and not know nothing from him again!
I would like to know what I must do to use that white adaptor card since it has more space and buying a memory card of more than 4 gigabytes is already out of my budget.
Also he gave me the USB cable for the PSV and this white XIAOMI brand charger cube! should i keep using this cube to charge the PSV or should i buy a original PSV charger? TYVM for the videos and also tyvm for all the help that is comming from you guys!
If you don't want to mess up the Vita by installing mods, doing a system format is your best bet. For the accessories, i have nothing to say because i don't actually have a PS Vita. 🤷♂️
The brick and cable should be fine. The hack you have on your vita is perfect sounds like you are on 3.60 henkaku w/enso. To make use of that SD2VITA you need to follow a tutorial. I recommend mrmario2011 SD2VITA's video on it as far as how he flashes and formats the micro SD card. I recommend you watch the entire video to understand what hes doing. Then after you have your SD set up just go into autoplugins 2 and use the SD2VITA plugin and make your 4GB vita card Umao and your SD2VITA Uxo for main storage.

Hi I made a mistake somewhere down the road in hacking my PSVita. It's definitely hacked. It does have henkaku and the works on it. But I didn't realize that after downgrade to 3.68 that would be a mistake to transfer everything to external memory. Now is it not only back up to 7.73 I keep getting a lot of errors with my homebrew apps and I cannot attempt another downgrade that is permanent. I definitely could use your help. How much does it cost me to send my PSvita over to you? And what do I need to do?

If you are having problems hacking your vita just look up tech James. He has went over every step you need to take. You don't need to send your vita to anyone. It's not that hard. Just follow his instructions step by step. Pkgj is the better downloader. It has more content.

I would recommend watching MrMario2011 about his 3.60 henkaku enso tutorial. He does mention and go into detail about moving your plugins to the Uro folder. TechSavvyBuyer also does a great job in his video and I thank him for his h-encore vid for 3.73.

You are to do the FTP or wifi use of transferring files only once you have modded your vita and gotten either vitashell/molecular. You need that charger/USB for the transferring of files. What firmware are you on btw?

no with the standard (soft) mod you can stay on the latest firmware and nothing happens with the online services and even with permanent mod enzo, where you have to downgrade your device, you can trick your system into believing that you are on the latest firmware. enjoy!
