- Quick little tool box tour of my box. I'm a 1st year commercial transport mechanic apprentice. I realized after the fact that I missed some things, so if there's more interest in what I have I'll do a more in depth Tour.

Awesome tour man. Always love seeing the class 8 truck toolbox tours. Gives me ideas so thanks for that haha
Lmao your the dude who stole my old road sign 😂
Looks like a real mechanics tool box, tools really been used.
Awesome tool box and tool's brother love it
Someone might be a AvE fan with that sign for Ethan. The CT Money is probably worth more than our actual cash now.
Good setup nice toolbox tour
I love stickers on tool boxes, mine are stickered up too
Thanks for the tour 🇨🇦 eh!
I got those Canadian tire wrenches early this year they work great for 50 bucks standard and metric 30 pc
nice tour
Nice! Love the homemade hutch. Always good to see tech's "making it work", even though I own a ready made hutch for my box....And there is no "random junk" in a tool box if you use the stuff to help get your job done! We can't all just load up a box with nothing but shiny tools form the tool truck, sometimes it takes a homemade set of wires / switches / relays or something to prove out a problem and get it fixed fast.
DocRevo Thanks man, I figured I'd spend $60 and make a hutch rather than spend $2000 and get one off the truck lol. I realized I called a lot of things random junk, but you're right, it's all more or less got/had a purpose. I could however probably thin out some stuff in my box though lol. I've got a box full of modified/home made tools sitting on my hutch just waiting to be called into action. Better to have em' and not need em' than to need em' and not have em'.

Nice set up, thorsen wrench was a autozone or advance auto parts wrench here in the states
He has more punches than Mike Tyson...
I can tell youre a peterbilt/kenworth tech judging by that filter wrench😂. Greetings from a kenworth tech in California
alex ruano You gotter man, I'm a kenworth tech in northern B.C. Canada.
used tools are always good tools
"Promotion Getters" Knee pads lmfaooo. Love my Mastercraft sockets and extensions too! ...the ratchets, not so much.
0:29 we all work with an Ethan
Ya no kidding, caught that little fucker going through my tool box and chewed him out. Threw the sticker on there to let him know to stay the fuck out.
Hey now... some Ethens are alright.
Ethen Williams it not people named Ethan, it's people who think my tool box is theirs as well.. 🤣
I need someone in Winnipeg to "acquire" me the Bruce street sign. Lots of good tools you got there. I have plenty of Mastercraft, Pro Point and Princess Auto stuff in my box also. Mastercraft is kinda my go to brand. Most of it is really good quality for a good price. Canadian Tire has some awesome sales sometimes. I just bought a set of deep and shallow turbo sockets on sale for 70% off with Canadian Tire money. lol
Thanks for the video.
Bruce L. Glad you liked the video man, wasn't sure how it would turn out lol. Mastercraft is my go to brand too depending on the tool I need. Quality is on par for the price point and I've spent a fraction of the snap on prices. Unfortunately we don't have a princess auto in the town I work in otherwise I'd be shopping there for some stuff. How do you like the turbo sockets?
-Ryan
Ryan, The turbo sockets work great. I've only used them a couple of times but they've worked perfect. I can't see any other brand being any better. I did a video about them.
Bruce L. Sweet I'll have to check out your vid.
Nice collection, looks like you're getting your investment out of them too.
This old Mechanic I do my best to get my money's worth out of my tools. I've made some dumb purchases but for the most part I've been pretty conscious about my purchases.

What is that contraption holding your rachets?
diesel mac 91 It's just a plastic holder I got off the snap on truck, you can get em off amazon and from princess auto/ harbour freight
Cigar Smokin' Mechanic Thank you.
I always ask my grandpa to do this and he always finds tools he didn't know he had
Aaron Hayden That’s the best part about going through tool boxes, you’ll always find those tools you’ve made/bought that have been tucked away and forgotten about.
Anyone know part number for bandclamp socket set?
Not off hand, but if you talk to your snapon rep he should be able to find the number for you. Kit comes with a 1/2", 7/16", 10mm, and an 8mm
Cigar Smokin' Mechanic ok thank you! 👍
Your 12-point look like Universal sockets to me. I could be wrong.
You're not wrong, they're the "universal" spline drive ones. Couldn't think of the name while making the video, so just called them 12 points
@@DAMAN12RB It looks like a nice set of tools. Those spline sockets come in handy; I hear they work great on rounded fasteners as well.
Best tool by far is your hammer from grade 10
I haven’t heard that much swearing since I watched Trailer Park Boys
Well I hope to fuck that a little fucking swearing dont piss ya the fuck off bud, just trying to go through my minty cunt of a fuckin tool box for shits and fuckin giggles.

Diesel_Tech I work for a kenworth dealer way up north in Canada
Nice I also work for kenworth in Montreal
Cigar Smokin' Mechanic you from the west
BodalaWale Yup, I’m in BC
Nice bro I'm from BC too I'm also a apprentice too going to BCIT for level 2 apprentice ship in January
am I them only one who is cringing at how dirty that tool box is. I was always taught to clean your tools before putting them back. 10 minutes at the end of the day, keeps everything looking good.
I was taught the same thing, however I may be on 1 or 20 jobs over the course of a day depending on how things go. Often enough over the course of a day and multiple jobs I use a LOT of different tools/equipment, and being as I'm a 3rd year now I have a lot more tools. So "10 minutes at the end of the day" would more realistically be about an hour. I wipe the worst of the grime off my tools and put them away, then usually on a Sunday I come in and clean everything and organize for the week to come.
@@DAMAN12RB I'm with you do what u can when u can, I always have a Friday fuck it draw when time runs away
shit happens u can't keep the tools if ur using them all the time
