Scarface Pnut They are great wrenches but I always need my regular box end wrenches and short stubby ratcheting wrenches. My main go-to tool would be my 3/8 flex head snap-on socket wrench with wobble extensions...but again I agree the mountain wrenches are awesome
Get 1/4 and 3/8 chrome set. Gearwrench sockets are good value. Carlyle makes really nice ones for a little more. Buy harbor fright 1/2 impact sockets and get there 1/2 breaker bar. Carlyle long handle wrenches are awesome. Then keep a eye out at garage sales, flea markets, ebay etc for good USA made craftsman ratchets or SK, proto husky etc. And if you want Snap on. Buy tools as you need them... meaning of your socket set dont have a 22mm don't just buy out to have a complete set buy it once you need it. And dont feel like if it's not USA made then its junk. Taiwan is making done really nice tools. Used life time warranty tools are your best friend!
koskey06 just went to a pawn shop by my house and they had a good 15 craftsman usa ratchets. I grabbed 2 for $10 and a set of 15 craftsman metric wrenches for $25.
Hey man love the video but have you ever thought of paint markers instead of the nail polish I used the nail polish before and my friend said go to paint markers and I fell in love with them
I've had flex heads fall apart enough to not only use them, sometimes you need the flex head but it fell apart and you havent gone to the store yet which defeats the purpose of having a variety of tools to a degree.
I got told that when i bought my first flex head, so literally next week got a locking flex head and use that when i need a little tweak but if i need to put alot of torque on something i get a standard ratchet.
Wow I do all the work I can by myself on my car, after listening to you talk about how you should do things with other people's cars I want to let you work on mine
For the home gamer or even a just starting tech......go to yard sales and flea markets! You can get things like punches, chisels and really anything that's made in USA and you will pay next to nothing! I got Snap-On, MAC, SK,Proto, USA made husky, craftsman etc. Ratchets, sockets and everything under the sun for less money than harbor freight charges! Most people make the mistake thinking they have to have every tool on day 1. A 3/8 socket set and ratchet, small cheap set of wrenches, screw driver's and a hammer is pretty much all you need to get started! Then after the first day you will know what you NEED and what can wait...
#92 subbed I could really use the small qtr inch flex head for endless things on the front of my engine where space is limited from belts, brackets and such being in the way. Harbor freight has this spinning head one im gonna get i have the 3/8 larger size of, they also have this double joint 3/8 longer ratchet that you can shape into a handle like on the spas 12, I love it great for goofy spots.
I never thought about the floor jack handle could be a breaker bar lol it was right under my nose the whole time
I got those mountain wrenches you mentioned and they are monsters, you won't need any other wrenches if you get those, they are very versatile.

Looks like a well made box. Good showing and advice!

Great video. Thanks for pointing out which tools are good buys from harbor freight and which we should skip out on or pay more for.

Yes the markers are much better but they are probably 4x as expensive as nail polish...but yes the markers are preferable if you have the budget

Do a video on how you cleaned and restored the old ratchets.
You spelled adapters wrong on that box.
