    Glad we met today. Will have to try a few recipe’s and get back to you. I have a couple of friends who are chefs but not Tai recipes💕Both have their own restaurants. And friends from Hong Kong, Philippines. and Japan but we do not cook together any more due distance now ☹️ so this will be a fun adventure🎉Thank you.

      It was a pleasure meeting you as well. I can’t wait to hear your feedback on some of my recipes ☺️. It’s so great that you have so many culinary friends. Taiwan was a real eye opener for me as they have influences from all over Asia. I just wish I could get the same quality produce here without breaking the bank.
      Thanks again for subscribing. I hope you enjoy my content.😁

    Amazing Bread...my family are asking me to make it everyday 👍🏻 Thank you for such a great recipe. I don't divide it, I just put it in a loaf tin and the results are soft and delicious everytime so far. 🥰

    Questions, why was the warm water added White?
    Do you normally let your dough rise three times vs just twice?

    Don't get me wrong the bread came out lovely, but my only comments, on every receipe and every baker you watch, you never put the salt and yeast together, it kills the yeast. Also, KitchenAid say use speed 2 for 2 minutes for dough, and no more than 4-6 mins max, as you can burn out the motor. Also that 2 minutes on speed 2 is the equivalent to 10 mins by hand. But the bread did look good.

      Adding salt with the yeast does NOT "kill" the yeast. Try it. Your bread will literally be the exact same. I can't stand this stupid myth that everyone perpetuates.

    • @lionlikelauren
      @lionlikelauren Před 6 měsíci

      Salt can, in very concentrated amounts, inactivate the yeast. But you would have to mix just the yeast in a salt slurry and leave it in there for awhile. Simply adding the yeast to your dough while mixing and then adding the salt afterward will NOT KILL THE SALT! stop spreading ignorance!

    • @elmerlisa2008
      @elmerlisa2008 Před 6 měsíci

      I didn't say it will kill the salt, I said it will kill the Yeast. I am new to baking, and I just commented on what I have seen in video's. Even one of our top chef's here in the UK, not sure where you are from, but he also said put the salt one side, and the yeast the other side of the bowl, because it will KILL THE YEAST. I was merely commenting on that, I don't think you have to be so rude, telling me I am spreading ignorance. Try commenting on something positively, not so nasty. If you can't be helpful, then don't comment on CZcams.

    • @UncleBillsKitchen
      @UncleBillsKitchen  Před 7 měsíci

      Sorry to hear that. I wonder how aged your yeast was? Or perhaps a longer rise time?

    • @Cegtalk2u
      @Cegtalk2u Před 7 měsíci +1

      @UncleBillsKitchen I don't understand it. Yeast is new. I agree with the rise time though. I don't think it let's it rise enough. Do you know if i can pause it to let it rise longer?

    • @UncleBillsKitchen
      @UncleBillsKitchen  Před 2 měsíci

      I would

  • @boxgirl51
    @boxgirl51 Před 5 měsíci +1

    Why are recipes now using grams directions? I am older and not not care to convert my recipes. None of my recipe books call for grams so it is hard for me to find recipe on CZcams now that I can follow, too bad they do not have directions for both ways.

    • @UncleBillsKitchen
      @UncleBillsKitchen  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I understand your frustration, but I’ve found using grams is more precise when making baked goods. If you go to google and type in convert grams to cups, you will get the measurements you are looking for. Happy cooking!
