PlayStation home hub would’ve been killer. A separate UI for vr. It’s like an apartment that you can use to hang up platinum trophies for games. Or if you 100% a game you get a collectible. Like Kratos axe or a Astro bot action figure.
Also add a gameshare feature that allows you to invite friends to your home hub and you can play games on the tv in your home and friends could watch or play

I've been saying that since the announcement of the PSVR2 and when I read that the Playstation Home trademark was renewed by Sony, I was really hopeful it would get released with the PSVR2, here's hoping they do release Home again.

I've been heavily debating getting this! I held off on the oculus because I own and ps5 and figured why not?! Can't wait to check out the video!
VR headsets are literally such a gimmick. 🙄 Had a original psvr and a oculus rift s at different times and I sold both later on. Never put enough time into it to make it worth.

Returned mine yesterday, it was so blurry on the corners. When I held my head steady and just looked around all corners were blurry. Only the center had good resolution
That first demo you played. I think the reason you were so close to the floor is because when you scanned the room the headset thought the desk was your floor. So you appear very short in the game.

psvr 1 Games cannot be played on the psvr 2. Atleast not for now. The developers of those Games need to make a ps5 version for it. I think many of the psvr1 games will get a psvr2 update in the coming months/years and some already have.
Beat saber has. Been announced for psvr2, but we don't know if it will be q free opgrade for psvr1 owners, and no release date has been set

So does it have full 360 tracking? Like can you turn around 180 and it will still register properly? Because that was one of the main complaints i had about the first PSVR. Im assuming so since theres no camera this time.
Yes, you can rotate 360 now. Just don't trip over the cable lol.

Can't wait to pick one up! All the enhancements with adaptive triggers and hd rumble have me excited. Not to mention the much better screen and eye tracking! I have a quest 2 and psvr, but I can't wait to get my hands on a headset that has the potential for some powerful great looking games

I am beyond impressed with this. I have the CotM bundle, RE8, No Man's Sky, Moss Book 1, and Star Wars TftG. Can't wait for more. Also got the charging station
I have read some bad reactions in the comment section of other reviewer, like there is a filter or backdoors or mura effect that takes away the experience, and some say it is fuzzy and blurry even when you find the hot spot.
Do you agree in that? How is your impression about the device?

I hope so, because I watched a review of one of my trusted CZcams VR viewers (MRTV), and he was amazed like crazy about the clarity and visuals, his reaction was crazy as he has never try any other VR Headset before, he convinced me to get one.. But suddenly I have read some comments that are very negative and even compare it with PSVR one, which scared me to be honest: Blurry, grainy, pixelated etc..

I would only get one if they made VR1 games compatible with it considering how setup for the PSVR1 is pretty complicated, I don’t think you should have to use two different VR sets to play old games.
the developers of those games are giving them free update so they can be played on the psvr2

The controllers look like fancier oculus controllers… but I’m not a fan of putting your hand through the circle to hold the controller, if someone has big hands, they may have issues.

The psvr2 is definitely a good entry level headset for people who already own a ps5 or plan on getting one anyways, but i primarily play on pc and don't plan on getting a ps5. I Enjoy the quest 2's Standalone and pc wireless game form factor and those alone make the psvr2 a deal breaker for me. I will always prefer pcvr and Standalone vr over the psvr2 but i still believe it's a great way for many people to experience vr and help make vr even more mainstream and allow bigger and better things happen within the vr market 👍
You are right. There are several vr options and not all fit to everyone's need. Example, I have a ps5 and I only work on my PC (I used to play only on PC but I felt the need to build my PC around my work. Plus I use Linux now). So psvr2 is a great option for me. It all depends on one's circumstances and budget.
It is not an entry level tho. It is pretty high end

Entry level in this case just means it's a good headset to get people into Vr. It's a entry into the vr market for a lot of people who already have a PS5 or plan to get one regardless

I would rather just get 1 for PC. The fact VR2 isn't back compat is a deal breaker for me cos how do we know when the next vr headset comes out that won't be either so you constantly loose access to your games or have multiple vr headsets for different games. Or just buy 1 for PC and not be confused about what games work
I definitely agree but I think in all reality the reason it's not compatible with PSvr 1 games is because the controls with old br not having analogs etc, so I think from here on itll be all compatible but who knows

If your willing to spend the 1k it is definitely going to be cheaper than getting a PC and a vr system so I would say it's worth it

TBH the older PSVR looked better and Im not going to get PSVR just for PS5 I use a QUEST 2 that can run games itself or use airlink/Link cable for pc preformance
I love my quest so much. It's also more cheaper as well. I've had mine since it came out.

regardless, the quest 2 will probably be discontinued when the quest 3 launches (as most products do when they're succeeded by a new product) but they'll still support it for the foreseeable future. (though they'll probably do some quest 3 exclusive games)
and in any case, when Sony inevitably decides to launch a PS6 they'll stop support for PSVR2 as well. it just comes with buying into a closed platform. only place where this isn't really the case is PCVR (which quest 2 will still work with)

You can get a oculus quest. You can play it anywhere and it has a 2 hour battery span I believe. I love mine. It costs less than this headset.

I was looking to buy this eventually until I saw the price. I thought me buying the DualSense Edge was expensive... This is almost triple that price.

I think there are currently like 40 Games out for it with some releasing in march. So we are up to 50 then. I think that will be enough till the next big AAA announcements at E3 in june.

I'm so glad it's inside out tracking so that someone can find a way to port the system to pc. The original psvr is awful on pc because it barely works.
Try the oculus quest 2, it may not be as good but it’s wireless and you don’t need a pc to play it. Also it’s $400
Well kind of. It is nice for Games where you need low graphical performance. When it comes to big titles Like Half Life: Alyx, then you would need a good PC and that will be double the amount, then the ps5+pcvr. Also you can plug and play in just a minute with thr psvr
This was 100% not a "should you buy" lol. The only thing you discussed for reasons you should or shouldn't buy it was cost. This was definitely a "look what I got myself" unboxing lol. Still a good video though, and I enjoyed it.

No volume knob/ button, awkward placement on face that feels like an octopus covering my head, terrible interface….my first 24 hours has been…annoyed.
Visuals are… fine, the cord doesn’t bother me, the controllers feel okay, but it’s odd you can’t set them down naturally or else they’ll roll away.
Will wait to see more games that weren’t rushed for launch.
Very underwhelmed in this first 24 hours, after years of Quest and Quest 2.
Sad to see Sony limited it to only PS5 keeping it as a gimmick.

I hate that you can't use 3d movie discs. I mean as a 3d device it kind of blows. I like watching finding Nemo in n 3d
that should be easy enough. unless they plan on renting movies or something they should be able to make a media player that can play 3d movies (windows media player can do it)
