Joe , I’m sorry to hear your hurting . The joy in your voice has gone and it breaks my heart . The world as we know it has been forever changed . The cruelty we display towards one another is unforgivable. Please know that my heart and soul also are in pain and have been for several years now. Not all tinkerers are equal it seems. That's a pretty shoddy effort. It's good to see it treated with the respect it deserves.

My father served in the 2nd para’ out in Palestine in 1945. He witnessed some terrible scenes that made it almost impossible for him to speak about; scenes that are being replicated on an even more horrific scale now. The root of all this evil imho is religion, and the inability of people of different beliefs to accept each other as friends and not enemies.
At least however your impeccable skill shines a bright light on the watch world 👏🏻

Indeed we are in a sad world. As far as the trade, it was mine in the '60s and 70's. I would NEVER attempt this. Just goes to show there are repairers (me) and craftsmen, you. What an honour to watch you. I too pray for peace.

Well! Amid all of the hurly burly of life on this planet, it amazes me how you remember where all of the bits and parts go when you disassemble and then put the thing back together. I think your world as a watchmaker is very complex and awe inspiring. Live long and prosper earthling.
A complex watch, fascinating to see how you bring it back to life and beauty. But your thoughts and the song at the end left me in tears. I see this stuff; see those children and the terror, destruction they're living through, and it rips my heart to pieces. I'm with you 100%, and I have no solutions to offer. I have nothing to do with watches except I like wearing them. After watching your vid on the Citizen Eco-Drive in a very bad state. I bought one on E-Bay for about 300€ and spend another 300 + changing all the looks and a new movement. Now I have this beautiful watch that I love dearly. What I`m saying is that watching your vids, not only is it so much fun and relaxing it also gave me a deep love for watches and what they are about. Thanx for that good man. I think this was more work than the CARTIER SANTOS and the Citizen Skyhawk Eco Drive.
