Already flipped the RTX 3090 for 1200, so ended up getting that i7-13700K PC for $800 AUD (about $524 USD). I think one should ALWAYS give the used market a look, even if you want to buy high-end!
That seems like a lot for a 3090, good for you homie!
@@christianmino3753I think AI people still want the 3090 because the only other card that has that amount of vram is the 4090. Or quadros which usually cost more
use syringe needle to fix cpu
@@christianmino3753I guess it's australian dollars so maybe about 700
@@fitah47a bit more, like 800

@@virtual-adam Yeah it a bow.
man your charisma and drive is what makes your channel so engaging. all the best from belfast ireland.
Spilt milk. When I worked at an IT company, the procedure for any sugary or potentially ionic drink spilt on a laptop was to rinse it under the tap then dismantle to let it dry.
Yeah this one was left too long :(
This. Did this when I used to spill coffee on my keyboards and mice years ago, can work straight away if you treat it and dry it out.
The deals run in the family
Buying cheap doesn’t always mean buying trash!
It’s amazing what you can get sometimes with a bit of luck and timing!
Great video Bryan🥰💪👍
This parts hunt was massive!!! You really killed it this month…Great Job!!!👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Great video as always! Looking forward to the next flip up challenge video
That dancing cutaway sent me haha 😂. Great video as usual, glad to see you keeping on the grind as always. Happy holidays and all the best for the new year!
Brian, you are killing it with all these used hunts and builds lately. Loving the content. Your drive is motivating me to get out there and find some good deals and make some money. I got some great deals on TikTok black friday deals that I will be putting a PC together this weekend to flip! Thanks for the great content and inspiration!
Absolutely loving the channel at the moment. Deals are coming in sweeeeet!
Even after all this time dealing with used PC parts, Bryan's haggling skill never cease to amazed me.
Bro's definitely got Speech 100. Getting 25-40% off everything is insane. Wish I have that skill. 😂😂😂
He is famous CZcamsr, that's definitely help
Well he is 1 quarter Indian so haggling to get a reduced price comes naturally to him 😂
Hey there, dealt with a number of Dells.
Not sure if its all models, but you may find in the Bios The ability to "Disable Chassis intrusion" detection or something along those lines. Potential work around the having to press F1 on start up.
If you have an older one with the switch on the sensor clearly visible. you maybe able to hide the sensor and super glue or jam it down, so it doesn't trigger the F1 prompt.
Happy flipping Xmas
Can jump 2 pins on mb also, its for the custom/proprietary psu's they use, or something like that. (which are crazy efficient)
i was talking with a guy yesterday and was sadly reminded that for some a 750ti is still a very expensive GPU depending on the country he was rocking a budget 2014 pc in 2023 the struggle is real
Thumbs up for the new shades and the good show (as always) !
-I just got a 3090 myself, it came with front and back EK blocks (and original strix cooler and the box even) for a cool 750 euros.. Seemed like great value regardless, but I was specifically after a showpiece gpu for my first custom loop build. (one that wouldn't break the bank!) Parts hunting rules!
Thank you for the reference to Dad Man. I have been asking in the comments for months. Great to hear he is rambling around and finding you some slick shades.
Cool video. Always good when you can find a good deal. I got myself a basically new in box old stock RX 5600XT which I have in my Precision T3600 workstation with 64GBs of RAM.
Still rocking an X79 system and no complaints. I also like the understated case design of the Dells from that period so not too fussed about the case either.
Really love this series a lot!
The deals are crazy lately! Awesome!
great work ... happy holidays! 🎅
This is TechYesCity at it's core!! Love it Bro! Keep them Parthunts Vids coming 😅!!
Hey man that was my rtx3090 build ahhaha
Sweet video bro
Hahhahahaa that was sick bro 💯
Hey Brian, try a sowing needle next time you need to straighten some bent pins on an AM4 CPU. I fixed about a dozen that way. I used to use a small flathead like you did in this video but with the needle you can do a whole row at once and much easier without risk of bending adjacent pins. Cheers.
I really like your "wait until the morning" approach for things that may cause you issues. Being a problem solver, I've spent too many long nights awake.
In this episode Brian makes a trip to Les and Marco gets a shout out. It’s like Tech Yes City Voltron !
that dance skit almost made me fall out of my chair! LOL never seen that from tech yes city.
For bent pins someone mentioned the tube on those pencils with the extending lead, but you can also buy - 8 PIECE STAINLESS STEEL HOLLOW NEEDLE DESOLDERING TOOL KIT -.
Bryan your amazing with those deals really you get alot hey !!Have good Christmas to Bryan and your Dad to tell him to get on acassionally
use a smooth straight expansion slot cover for a case on its side. slide it carefully in between all the pins in a row and slightly press against bent pins to straighten them. as long as pins aint bent completely over this works 90% of the time.
Daddy likes all that’s TYC. Been around since 2016 and made this account to have premium and watch all that’s related to pc. I have a ting for pcs now, on my 5th build. I would like to build others pc here in Minnesota, thanks for the constant inspiration. Keep going.
Tech Yes Deals to Tech Yes Finance! Also Tech Yes Love’n and a bit of gambling of random PC, milk damage GPU and bent pin fix. A lot of content in one vid! Can’t ask for more!
Yep!
There should be a !Warning, this product may induce high levels of Mojo! on your data vac/blower. Great deals once again.
For bent pins try using a Stanley knife blade, use down the length of the row, using the very end of the blade to manipulate the bent pins. You can apply very precise force to the base of the pin or slide along the row to apply more even force from top tobottom of the pin. The rest of the row provides a datum. It's also very effective when there are multiple bent pins in a row.
Yes I got a Ryzen 5 2400g with bent corner pins for 15 bucks
Tech YES shows how it's done!
have you got that 5600G bent back yet perfectly? :P
@@techyescity not yet. Bought a soldering station to replace any bad pins.
@@MarcoGPUtuber you are a legend 💪💪
If you are handy with a solder pen it pretty easy to short the front panel ground wires together and bypass needing to press F1 on boot every time. ive done it with a few different dell and hp motherboards now it only takes me 20min to get it all soldered up and figured out.
Dad-man delivers! The shades look awesome!
great video. excited to watch it
Lets Goooo! nice work Bryan!
Have a Merry Christmas
Ryzen 3600 for $50 is a steal man. Great video. Great dance moves
sewing needles and toothpicks iv found work best for bent pins
Glad I watched this, I just saw a Ryzen 7 3770x for $50 but I wasn't familiar with AMD so I'll go back tomorrow and see if it's got bent pins.
"Marco is the master bender". You had to pause to think about what you said just then.
Another amazing video.
:)
I love the channel but i wanted to build a new pc with all new hardware as i have always had to build one in stages. My new rig is rocking a 14900k 64gb 5600mhz mem rtx 4090 4x 2tb nvmes. The reason i bring this up is because like you mentioned gpus are in short supply here in the UK. I however had a stroke of luck and the day before i ordered all my parts they took stock of the gaming x trio and i litterally got the last one.
Been absolutely loving my Zotac 4080 AIRO for 1000 bucks brand new. You guys are getting screwed on inflation over there 👉
I've always had good luck bending pins on CPUs using a playing card or a credit card, and a toothpick, or one of those dental floss things that you floss your teeth with it's got like the comb shape on the end of it with the string.
Sun always shines on Tech Yes City 😎
Haha I bought the same exact Evga 960, bought it on ebay auction as "broken for parts" for 20$ but when it arrived I took it apart first and it looked like brand new, not a speck of dust, measured for shorts and assembled it back, turned out a brand new working card.
Just sold my first 1000$ 5960x, 3060ti PC.
To fix your bent cpu pin its easy , just slide a card in like slot in every way possible when its jams just bent the card a little .. card like banq or credit
6:39 ..... Bending pins on an Ryzen CPU works PERFECT with lose boxcutter blades !! ( I never failed one, did 10 or so already )
*Would love to see an "FINAL DAY of the year 2023 PC PARTS HUNT" !*
All the stuff you can buy, on New Year's Eve !
The only thing i dont like this viedo it had to end i could keep watching this all day and still be happy to keep on watching top video as always 👍
i saw u using a small screwdriver to straighten the pens on a amd 3600 use a single sided razor blade start from the outside working towards the center at the row with the bent pin slide the razor blade in at the unbent end holding the blade straight up and down and flush with the cpu pcb DO NOT PRESS DOWN just lightly slide it towards the bent ones then turn 90 degrees and repeat working from the outside to the center till all pins are straight works good and won't bend/break any other pens
Thanks for posting the USD
Some of those Dells need to have 2 pins shorted to skip that message. I did that with the Inspiron 5675 motherboard in my daughter's PC. There is a small adapter board you can get for $10 or whatever, but shorting the pins is cheaper.
Edit: I found it on eBay it is called, "Dell 5/6 Pin Power Button/LED Front Panel Adapter For Dell Motherboards."
Try submerging it in isopropyl alcohol for a few days, that will force dry all moisture that's maybe lodged internally. Then leave it to air dry overnight the alcohol will evaporate fairly quickly. You may still get lucky with that GPU
for the broken pin cpu like AM4 socket cpu, you should the cpu pin diagram, some pin used for grounding and there are a lot of it, losing 1 or 2 of ground pin wont make your cpu dies, my friend had his r7 2700x (30$) with 3 broken ground pin and the cpu still run good as new, but ofc my friend is still nervous as hell 😅
Nice vid!!
Jump the fan-sensor input to the CPU fan to avoid F1 startup screens.
You're looking particularly "Gold Coast" this month Bryan ;-)
yes
The best way to straighten bent pins is to use a female pin from a 24 gauge cannon plug pin....just work the pin into the female pin and then slowly bend it into position...works 95% of the time.
I'm sure you know this but for the dell optiplex'/precisions if you hook up both the red and yellow to one side of the power switch, the black to the other side, you wont get the F1 error on start up!

If only sellers were more depindable.
I recently got a good deal this week. Kingston 64gb (2x32gb) CL18 3600mhz DDR4 (KF436C18BBAK2/64) RAM I got on eBay for $43 worked without an issue, and I can overclock it on my system. This is the same system that could not overclock the same amount of Crucial Ballistic CL16 3200mhz RAM. Prayer answered. Thank God.
oh my goood i love this episodes theyre the best in your channel but the tittle of the video is a bit unfair for it it neeeds more views cause its awesome man !!! i love you tech yes city
Bring back those Xeon's! Thanks 😊
3600 sell for like 40 here in the states working no Bent pins.
USA market is probably the best use market out there
You should try a mechanical pencil on those pins that are bent . Works for me just a suggestion.
A better way to bend those pins back is to use a mechanical pencil (the tiny hollow metal tip kind).
I just got an i5 9600k and an MSI B360 Bazooka for $80 out the door. Gotta love Marketplace
16:50 i want to know what tools do you use to get these super dirty devices looking new
A mechanical pencil with a long thin tip works wonders for bending pc pins back
@Brian which thermal paste do you use to repaste gpu's? I have artic silver laying around, but I don't think I can use that.
It's easy to flip PC in Australia because it's an island. I live in the States and the used market is Soo over saturated with PC flippers and really good PCs ranging from $300-600usd. I picked up some I3 AIO PCs for productivity and very light gaming,$12 each at the thrift shop, another $60 in parts from Amazon. Couldn't even get $100 from flips, ended up giving one to my artist friend who loves the touch screen and stylus, the other went to my little cousin who is starting into PC gaming. Unless you live in the boondocks, PC flipping seems dead in big cities (Im in Los Angeles)
The price/performance sunglasses. 🕶️
Love you brian!!!
I got an open box 5900X for $215 yesterday from Micro Center. 😊
Yoohoo !! Go tech yes city !
I straighten CPU pins using a razor blade with the safety edge...😊
Just sold my 5900HX/3070 & got me a 13980HX/4070 used for a very reasonable price... The best deal I'm gonna get in awhile in Malaysia... 💯🍻
Good morning Boss!
fist bump from Canada!
Genuine questions, whats a 960 going to play?
i mean yeah it might be okay if ALL you want to play is GTAV on 1080 high, cuz even Fortnight struggles on a 4gb now.
Im looking at this video, as someone who wants a pc for at least Ark right now, and none of these seem like great deals to me. You can hardly get ark over 60 on 1440 on anything less than a 3090ti, and i kinda wanna futureproof myself for GTA VI.. probably wont happen for under 2.5k
wow i had a amd 3 core cpu and it had 80% bent pins and they was bent bad it took a long time but i bent them all back and it worked fine i do them amd 3/2 chips all the time now
One of the few reasons I miss living around more(and wealthier) people was the large stocks of good used stuff on CL and marketplace. Going from a city of 150k to a county of 35k, some stuff will stay listed on their for months lol
There*
I'm on Firefox on Android, no edit..
I love good deals I got a 2060 with a broken fan for 75 usd
Nice!
Where someone is from shouldn't define them. If someone has a bad experience with a Brazilian person, it doesn't mean all Brazilians are bad. People are people, and you'll find both honest and dishonest individuals everywhere on this planet. Generalizing based on a single encounter isn't fair-it's essential to recognize the uniqueness of each person and not judge them based on stereotypes.
Running 9700k myself got a sweet deal on a broken pc had everything bar ram and ssd and gpu, i got that whole pc for 200 euros 1.5 years ago lol
D3H??? that's a haswell motherboard :D
the master bender ..
Don't cry over spilt milk, except when it spills all over your GPU.
Lets go!
mid 2023 managed to get a gtx 1080, 120 gb boot samsung ssd, 16 gb ddr4 ram i7 6700k hp omen computer for like $260, its liquid cooled, sweet deal
I saw a rx 6800 16gb for sale asking $300 in my local city. Should I do that or wait for a better deal?
I make a short trip somewhere near the Gargaras so let me know wall street if i'm remembered 3:50 and don't hesitate - no more than one second 49.
