No one knows the behind-the-scenes agreement that these parties have but I'm sure it is being handled professionally. Everyone is just assuming but Kat is a businessman and I am sure he had stipulations with his appearance so those two are good. With that being said, Shannon doesn't owe Kat anything beyond the agreement that they made. Kat knew how huge this would be before he appeared. The man is a genius.

This just makes me understand deeper how this business is supposed to go. It makes me realize that if I’m Katt Williams and I feel like I deserve a piece of what Club Shay Shay made on YT, then that means I’m missing the point of my own potential.
The transaction was to interview. As long as Katt got paid to interview, the mission is complete. Because Katt is an artist (because comedians are just as much an artist as a musician), it’s his job to flip the attention he got from the interview into his own revenue through ticket sales, merch, etc.
So to say Katt deserves a piece of the Club Shay Shay revenue on YT would also mean that Katt isn’t a good enough comedian to produce his own wealth. You could argue about the principal of the matter, but you forget that it’s a podcast and not a movie.
Katt has 100% ownership over every word he spoke, which means if he wishes to “profit off of the interview”, he need to start making some “Fat Faizon Liar” t-shirts. 😆
