The slp in person actually sounds really good almost like a v8 also little to no drone

I have a V6 2005 American Classic Edition in Screaming Yellow . I have 1 Flowmaster hooked up to 2 pipes, side exhaust. It DOES sound like a V-8 , not like a tin can . People always compliment on the sound , definitely NOT quiet at all . That would also be an option for V-6 owners .

It doesn't sound like a V8. Maybe at idle, but as soon as you open the throttle, you can tell it's a V6.

i have a 2010v6 and im telling you go with the true dual exhaust, I brought the Flowmaster Force II True Dual Cat-Back Exhaust and im telling you it is so worth it. I get compliments all the time about the exahust and people ask me if its a v8.

I know someone who has true duals and it sounds ok at idle but as soon as the engine starts to rev you can instantly tell it's a v6.
That's because those people are tone deaf and don't know how to identify a V6 car...

Been waiting a year for the catback
Looking into it, what's the opinions on the Pypes vs the SLP. The SLP seems louder and I'm leaning towards it, but is it too loud or with any droning when on the highway? Anyone who's heard one or the other, or both are greatly appreciated
If you are still interested in an answer to your question. I personally think that the SLP axle back is quite a bit louder in person than in the video. Granted that I also have a CAI, it sounds amazing and almost no drone in overdrive if you have the automatic 5 speed. I think it adds a needed sound of the muscle car that the stock exhaust system doesn't provide
heres my issue, im 18 and just bought my first car (s197) i dont want a loud exhaust but i dont like the stock one, i want it to sound throaty and sound like a good muscle car and i feel like the flowmaster at least in video doesnt sound great, does anyone have experience with the 2nd muffler? or have any good suggestions for me? im very picky apparently

I’m not gonna hate on someone’s ride, but for just a little bit more money you can get a v8, and it’s 100% worth it, once you put an exhaust on the 4.6 it’s one of the best sounding v8s ever made, and to make it better, long tube headers, heads, cams, x pipe.
I love the sound of that 4.6, but I prefer my Coyote. Keep it up brotha 🤘

not with these if you add a x pipe then you have to get a dual axle backs

you usually never have to weld any axle backs unless the hangers are already welded or just want better security.

No but you might need to play around with them for a bit to make sure they aren't to close to the bupper exc. But they all should fit perfectly.

This may be true because newer bone stock cars (2020+) are getting faster than stock 2005-2009 mustang v6's BUT then again those shitty family cars still look just that.....like a family car no matter how faster it is than a sixer while Mustangs still look like Mustangs and people still break their neck looking at them.
Sure those grocery getters have like 280hp with v6, but is no way sexy as a mustang even if its a v6. People would still point at that mustang more than any v6 accord or camry.

insurance costs are almost double for GTs.
If u have a v6 make a savings and add 100 every paycheck and order a crank a palet coyote from THE PARTS FARM on facebook u can get just the block for $4000 and v8 swap ur v6
