ok
Ok
well character design is kinda dope
I know this is out of the topic i recommend to you to watch Ousama ranking
i love aitai kuji. been using them since 2019!!!
Easily one of my favorite characters. Heâs basically Akazaâs opposite. Heâs a demon in every sense of the word and it makes him a good villain, but the fact he feels nothing at all makes him interesting too. His backstory isnât exactly sad but I do feel bad for him because of how his parents just used him and contributed to what he became
Facts
His a true demon
Man's was pure evil and loved being evil
@Manuel Huang mhm
I find people who really like Doma to be totally bizarre, heâs a character written to be hated.
Heâs by far the most useless Upper Moon, he completely misjudged Shinobu, does exactly what she wants, then tries to run away from fighting Kanao & Inosuke, gets his head cut off & fails to regenerate it. A feat the 3 most powerful demons Muzan, Kokushibo & Akaza achieved. Heâs totally useless.
@@InfamyOrDeath-__- I find people who can't respect other opinion and calls people bizarre to be stupid a-holes.
@@InfamyOrDeath-__- to be fair he was used as a way to end the story line he was incredibly strong and was never serious when fighting her and really died for the sake of the plot. If he wanted to he could have slaughter all the pillars at any time but he fell for the same reasons the other moons did by underestimating their opponents. Also i believe that they just didn't have enough big hitters to fight him like the other moons and it allowed them to show that even the weakest piller could accomplish big things IE plot
Honestly Doma, kokushibou, and akaza literally would be unstoppable if they were serious from the beginning of their fights
Accurate
Yea true but have u ever just like played a video game and u start playing around cuz your opponent is so trash that it's boring unless u try and spice it up? I figure its kind of like that cuz I've lost games like that lol
Yeah, and for Akaza and Kokushibo, their own conscience got in the way of their victory.
@@AnimeUproar right? But to truly beat an opponent you need to beat them psychologically before you ever beat them physically.
Kokushibo was serious just not using all his power from the start, douma is the one who could have tipped the fight in the demons side if he actually wanted to live, he played with inosuke, shinobu and kanao the entire time and even after he lost his head, he didnt will himself to live like akaza and Kokushibo, man really cared abt nothing to the point where he barely cared abt his own life
Had Douma went to the Swordsmith Village, the series would've ended right then and there. In a way, Akaza indirectly saved the main characters by telling him to get lost.
I mean Akaza is not really that bad except he donutâed đ„
Akaza is probably the most respectable demons for me lol.
Yeah, he still kills and all but only men (no offense to any guys lol)
I don't think he eats children? Nothing was ever stated about that.
@@Kay3Kay3 Yeah he probably only eats men
@@sangonomiyakokomi5764 yeah although some people take that has him being gay smh
Don't get me wrong, I support LGBTQ+ but I don't think the demons care about finding love interests or having a love type or something idk lol
@@Kay3Kay3 it just Chiverly the lgbtq destroys that
Out of all the fights in the series, the fight with Douma is the one I think I'm looking forward to this being animated the most. The array of emotions felt in this entire arc is just insane. I can't wait to see it go down
There's a fanmade animation of that fight and its worth checking out
Naaaaaaaaaah, the fighting is too short.
The best part about DOUMA is that he is not an antagonist BUT A VILLAIN
When even your allies hate you but can't be kicked out also goes to show how insanely strong he was
I really hope the Anime shows more on him cause I feel like The gap bw DOUMA and Akaza would have been crazy
He is despised all sides.
yea gap is big but i feel like akaza could close a gap even little even kokushibo said he reached new heiights and decided to die and said very weak so koku took akaza claim that he is going to kill him seriously
A lot of villains in demon slayer have redeeming features and tragic backstories. But not Doma. And that makes him even creepier.
@@AnimeUproar He lives upto the defination of demon which i really enjoy
even muzan hates douma he just keeps him cus hes strong
Fun fact: it was a translation error when Shinobu stated "That's around 70x more than the lethal dosage" and it meant to actually say 700x, not 70
I don't how that's relevant beyond wierd trivia. It's just meaningless numbers, whether it's 7x, 70x, 700x or over 9000x.
It's enough to say that he's resistant to poison and a lethal dose doesn't even begin to bother him, Shinobu being revealed as being literally marinated in poison is enough.
@@TheKain202 lmao no seventy and seven hundred are two completly different numbers
@@Jonas-jx3kw different doesn't make them any less meaningless. What is it with some anime fans and their fascination with big numbers?
@@TheKain202 hes not resistant to poison? Hes just powerful to where a normal amount isnt enough. It shows how much is needed to kill him because of how powerful he is
@@TheKain202 because we saw what shinobu poison does to a regular demon, author just wanted to show how strong doma actually is that they needed 700x the regular dose to nerf him.
Douma definitely was capable of feeling emotions. No one cared for him his entire life, and seeing Shinobu committed and risked her life to kill him, although in hatred, he finally felt a genuine emotion directed at him. Remember when Kanao said that his pallor never changes in any situation? She's basically saying he was only pretending to make faces, to emulate emotions, and when he met Shinobu in the afterlife, he finally managed a real, genuine blush, and finally felt something for the very first time a little too late..
SIGMMA GRINDSETT czcams.com/video/k45ZhOcF-Lo/video.html
Yeah I do think his tragic
Then how about Kotoha, Inosuke's mother? Did he killed her because he had no choice because she saw his plans to continue devouring his followers?
@@aoikanzaki6578 it was stated that if she hadnt seen him eating a person, he would have let her and inosuke live with him until they passed. since she did see him eat a person, she panicked and ran. which means yea, he was forced to kill her.
@@aoikanzaki6578 while it was true he enjoyed having her around and wanted to keep her around until she died of natural causes he never specifically had any real emotional attachment to her.
She was just akin to a fancy piece of decoration he found pretty and nice that was about it.
Shinobu is confirmed to be the first person he ever felt emotion towards.
Douma is a great addition to the upper moon members, he sticks out while most demons were just people traumatized by their horrible backstories with fairly normal human emotions for the most part
How is this any difference
I feel like Douma is the most hateable & loveable Upper Rank demon. I love & hate his way of thinking that killing someone is mercy. He *knew* that people of HIS OWN cult were fools yet decided to play along just for the hell of it. Overall, I think he's an amazing villian with an amazing design and a good way of thinking for a psycho like him. His end of falling in love with the very person that killed him is just another way to show how twisted this man is.
Douma is my favorite character in the whole show. And ngl they should have done more with him. We also hardly saw any of his true power which is pretty sad
I wouldn't say most lovable but it's your opinion
If u run over a dog and itâs barely alive . Are u not gunna put an end to his suffering? Or u just going to let it suffer more?
Yeah, his ultimate attack shouldâve also included his ice turning into a rainbow color like his eyes or something. But sadly if we saw him go all out they probably wouldâve lost.
@@bestkxge not tanjirou kind of lovable but more like âhey this villain is super cool i love himâ
What made Doma one of my most favorite villains was that he had no change to his character
He was born to be a villain.
His apathy could be part of, if not the source of why heâs a villain
Same to the very end
Well Doma is a static character that why he doesn't change
For those who doesn't know what a static character is
A static character is a character
Where the character doesn't change he just stays the same

Just wanted to clarify, sociopaths and psychopaths can feel empathy, they just donât empathize toward something simply because itâs a living thing. For example, if a random person on a subway was shot right next to you, even if you didnât know him, you would feel bad for him. However a sociopath would only feel any kind of sad emotions if the person that was shot was a family member, or a close friend. Otherwise, they wouldnât care. Some psychopaths, like douma find the death of a random stranger somewhat satisfying, and are not disturbed by death.
Edit: I had a friend that was a clinically diagnosed psychopath, and straight up admitted that he didnât care if I lived or died, and he only cared about his mom and his dog. Lol good times
"My friend died lol"
Question!
If Psychopaths can empathise towards a family member, then what's the difference between a sociopath and a psychopath?
@@gaurigoyal5744 I think the main difference between sociopath and psychopath is that psychopaths is born with it while sociopath gain it later in life
@@mpyb8176 yup. I went on to read and watch professionals explaining the difference and that's exactly what they said. But they also mentioned that psychopaths and sociopaths, especially Psychopaths don't have empathy. Sociopaths become numb to it.
I believe that Douma was a sociopath and Muzan a psychopath.
Douma can't be a psychopath like you said they find death satisfying but he doesn't he just doesn't care about it and has been trying to prevent the deaths of people by eating them
and the fact that he was voiced by none other than Mamoru Miyano, is just ultimate perfection
I think that although Douma is by far the most terrifying villain in all of Demon Slayer, I think his backstory is tragic the more you think about it. Although he didn't experience physical abuse like Gyutaro or poverty like Akaza/Gyutaro/Daki, I do think that Douma faced extreme emotional abuse/neglect from his parents and the cult they built around him. I bet that when he was young, he did have emotions (maybe slightly different in presenting them though), but since he had to hear about people's problems everyday with the burden of having to "fix" them while knowing he couldn't do anything, he probably went completely numb. He said that emotions were a "dream" to him, and since they are so foreign, his warped mindset associated negative emotions with positive ones. I think that Douma, because of what he experienced when he was raised, irredeemably associates love with violence since that was his last memory of his parents showing strong emotions towards each other. He probably was never close with his parents since they never saw him as human (more like a god or a supernatural being), and therefore never treated him or raised him like a child. The only interactions his parents had with each other were ones of deep hatred, and their deaths probably cemented this idea that true love could only be expressed with violence. This lead to his twisted and disturbing savior complex where he manipulates and murders women with the idea that he is "saving" them from suffering. It also explains his creepy love towards Shinobu after her poison killed him. He genuinely thought that her commitment to killing him was a form of affection, which is something disturbing and alien but also incredibly sad.
Since Douma's childhood experience is so unique and extreme, people relate to Akaza, Daki, Gyutaro, Rui, etc. much more than they do Douma. Experiencing the weight of his followers trauma when he was still a child and his brain was still developing warped his brain beyond the point of no return. He was so focused on saving everyone else that no one saved him. He is also the only character with no one who loved him or liked him, even as a child, which could explain why he hides his emotionless nature to seek companionship. If anyone loved Douma when he was a child, I doubt he would have become such a horrible person and such a monster.
This obviously doesn't justify any of the horrible acts of manipulation and murder he does in the manga, and it is good that Gotouge makes it really clear that his past does not redeem his actions, but explains them. I really love Douma for how great of a villain he is and how unique his psychology is. His philosophy is so warped and terrifying that it stands out from more cut and dry "broken hero" villains. Sorry for the theorizing lol I know this was long.

Inosuke got his senses from his mother , very clearly by now , she sensed danger and her thoughts were to take action immediately

Itâs a shame we couldnât see the upper moon meeting animated in the season 2 finale. It would have been a nice cliffhanger to end the series introducing all the Upper Moon members especially ending it in the part where Upper Moon 1 is shown on his back leaving the anime viewers left hanging wondering if Upper moon 1 (Kokushibo) and the demon slayer (Yoriichi) mostly feared by Muzan is the same. I feel that there is a big misunderstanding of Douma, he isnât evil because he wants to. He was born without emotion and because of his parents started to look down on others. Yes heâs selfish and narcissistic, but you can sense the insecurity about himself and not having emotions, you can see that his lack of emotions and the fact that is doesnât âunderstand itâ bothers him, so he act and put up a front. When kanae mocks him â you donât feel anythingâŠwhy are you even born.â Or when he died and still doesnât feel, it really did bothered him. So yeah he does kinda have a sad story.

Asking nicely cause I don't wanna get hate-
Very well said. Most people misunderstood that Douma never asked to be born with apathy. He never asked to be a psychopath, we just assume he was a psychopath because of his lack with emotions. But if he had emotions, he would be a completely different person that we could've loved. But it's fine, since he was a remarkable demon
@@lheeloriega418 Iâm pretty sure if he had emotions he would have gone insane by now, my dude was forced into a cult, had to listen to people constantly telling their emotions, saw his parents were died and the only person he some what enjoyed(I know DĆma saw Kotoha as a pet but some people have emotional attachments to their pets, Iâm not saying DĆma has any emotional attachments to Kotoha tho). So yeah no I doubt he would have even remotely been a good person, any one would have gone insane if they were in DĆmaâs place.
I cannot wait for season 3, hearing Kokushibou's voice, the fighting animation, more douma, and so on
I Love How in the end his playful attitude was his undoing.
He spent so long messing about with his fight that the poison was able to take effect and by the time he fully started taking things seriously it was way too late.

"If Hell does not exist, i'll make one for you!"
i hope they put this scene in the anime and do it justice. it's too badass.
Just to add a little detail: A sociopath is a person who became empty throughout his life, meaning that, the person is born like everyone else with emotions and feelings that go away after going through life. A good example of that is The Joker from DC comics. On the other hand, a psychopath is born this way. Douma is a full on psychopath because even when he wasn`t a demon he felt nothing towards people in general.
you donât know that. to me they âwent away after going through lifeâ with the way his parents raised him itâs a recipe to make exactly what he became and from the comments iâve read it seems like he thinks heâs helping people. so because of his parents his psychology was so damaged and skewered that he genuinely believes what heâs doing is the right thing the just thing which doesnât make him evil just misunderstood
I think he's a sociopath. I don't know the exact context but I remember that while he was talking about his past, there was a panel that said something along the lines of "when that happens, a person just stops feeling things, you know?" it's also the treatment from his parents and everyone else around him. The reason Douma never felt anything is because he never had a chance to express his emotions. He was taught to fake them, smile while grown adults were venting their problems to him
My man Doma murdered a girl's sister taunted that girl about it when she came looking for revenge.
Severely and brutally injured her in battle before killing her by absorbing her after she expressed just how much she despised him.

ANALYSIS ON DOUMA
Douma is literally a broken child, he was forbidden from having a sense of self at a young age and only been seen as a "vessel of a gods." I know his backstory isn't much of a sob story, however it is definitely heartbreaking. All of the pressure probably drove him insane and to the point of forgetting himself and becoming what people expected of him on the outside. He craves having a sense of self, that's why he's always trying to anger people to the point of them hurting him as he is looking for a reaction out of himself even as a demon he desperately craves a real emotion. What is also sad that I find is Douma's reaction to Kanao's breathing technique was the only emotion we've ever seen him show, he fakes his emotions in hopes of one day being able to feel them for real. Imagine the pressure that is put on a child that is forced to listen to adults problems all day long, down to their worst of their sins? I feel like his childish personality reflects the childhood he never got to have. He keeps his frustration from the lack of emotions inside by projecting sadistic and masochistic behaviour. He projects all sorts of emotions and expressions but is truly empty, just like a prism of ice, dispersing a rainbow of light, despite itself being empty and having lack color.
Douma's inferiority complex and superiority complex
Douma was raised as a child treated like a god. He was treated like a deity leaving him with an odd complex superiority and inferiority complex at the same time. He was in capable of processing normal human emotions, as he never got the chance to develop his mind like most children.
Douma's eyes ANALYSIS
Douma's rainbow eye acts as a reflection of hope and new beginnings, a complete encapsulation of Douma and his purpose. Subject to Idolization due to the manifestation of hope in his eyes, Douma is disconnected for his humanity, perceived as little else than a saving grace and point of resolve for despaired souls in the cult. Douma internalises this notion viewing himself as nothing more than ways he wills himself to be, nothing more than what he exists to do.
Douma despite acknowledging the bleak reality of existence and death, continues to act as a vessel for hope, constantly fulfilling his duties, as he recognises himself as nothing more than the God he tries to embody, this external personality is a blatant contrast to his internal strife, his own purposefulness and despair and struggles with accepting the reality of existence. However his eyes, the pinnacle of hope and the shining beacon that instills purpose into his meaningless existence are always colourful always masking his true inward despondency, a total parelell to his fake personality.
"The rainbow comes after the rain" a physical manifestation of the end of unhappiness and the beacon of light or hope that guides humanity. Douma's rainbow eyes are the root of his applied purpose, the initial reasoning for his position of guidance. His eyes are a manifestation of the resolve in hope that his cult members sought, a contrast to the despair, the source of light after bleak rain. However, his powers are ice, the beginning of the cycle that his eyes and position are supposed to connote the end of Douma's unmelted ice signifies an solidified unhappiness, stemming from his recognition of really and his continual facade despite it.
Douma's Ice is a reflection of himself, his emotional vold and the constant facade that he fronted. Regardless of the forms that his ice takes; whether it be a God or saving grace or Douma himself, the ice is solely ice. Simply a shape modified to embody what Douma desires to be, however, the ice remains cold and empty, a reflection of what Douma is in spite of his desire to escape from his truly purpose existence.
Douma's eyes are one of the most important parts of his person, the rainbow orbs that mold his perception of his own existence and duty, allowing him to view the world through a hopeful, facaded lens. However Douma's real incomprehension was what being a saviour truly encompassed, his belief that eating and absorbing women was their point of redemption and their only escape from human despair was never truly challenged until he met Shinobu, she depsised his ideology, and audibly expressed how sickening his train of thought was, even being so overcome with anger that she stabs him in the eye.
This is Douma's first point of disillusionment the recognition of the reality that his savourism was just as feigned as the remainder of his facade, the the redemption he offered was no more real than the emotion he truly felt toward the afterlife, or the human hope for it. His perception of his purpose was shattered, and all Douma saw was anger, in Shinobu's absolute rejection of the redemption he offered, he truly saw the result of his saving graces, hatred.
Douma's second point of disillusionment comes with Kanao's realisation of his facade. A continuation of the preexisting loss of hope that stemmed from Shinobu's rejection of his offered redemption Kanao's perception of his facade is his first experience of such, the constant facade always seemingly unnoticed till then, This acknowledgement of his pretense upsets him, allowing the despondency that he always concealed to fully consume him. He's dejected and his source of hope, his eyes contrast Kanao's her recognition of what Douma truly is leaves him bare and his hope is lost.
He deduces Kanao's eye as the reason for her disregard for his facade, understanding that they make her special, a complete reflection of his own plight.
He views Kanao's eye as her point of true perception allowing her to see things in their reality, as he does; and he attempts to gouge then out in an effort to halt her perception, and restore his own.
Douma's ignorance of redemption is further perpetuated by his foil with Inosuke, his misconstrued understanding of what embodying a saviour is represented fully by his insight on Kotoha. He seems her existence purposeless and belittles her for displaying love despite her negative past, while simultaneously longing for it, He longed for love in the same way Inosuke subconsciously did. Despite their isolation and altered self perception due to dehumanisation they yearned to feel the emotions that they saw other exhibit.
During their fight Inosuke slashes Douma's eyes, in turn Douma removes Inosuke's mask and they truly see the reality of their humanity/inhumanity, finally being relieved of the obscurities that clouded their perception of their existence and fooled them into a falsehood of acceptance.
At Douma's conclusion the effects of this continual disillusionment and recognition symbolically mainfests, Douma's literal absorption of Shinobu's poison, he incessant manifestation of hatred takes a toll and he was overcome with it. Completely plauged by the emotions surrounding his savourism and the negative aftermath of his facaded purpose. At this point of overflowing recognition Douma's face melts. His eye fell out. His beacon of hope and rainbowed lens that protected his false perception /identity of the world and his existence rendered completed useless.
He no longer saw himself as the God or saviour that he made out of his existence, Instead he made a last ditch effort to solidify his purpose and deflect the looming reality the sought to diminish his ideal but creating the Boddhisatva. The Boddhisatva that he continually tried to embody that alas was nothing more than an empty piece of ice, molded by an inhuman tactition of defense. Kanao's perspective eyes negate the Boddhisatva and as Douma's neck is severed, he lost all hope.
Yo
@@Al-Gebruh99 Hi
I respect your dedication to type that all out
I enjoyed reading this and think itâs interesting, but I think he was just born emotionless đ
@@lexfushi8504 It's more in depth đđ
This villain is insane!
Douma is a character archetype I always love. The one fucking guy that' different from anybody. He isn't an antagonist, he's straight up a villain. I always loved villain characters with simplistic motivations, the type meant to be hated, the one who's main role is to get killed. Their thinking is really fascinating, a pity though Douma never really got to show his prowess.
Doesn't that make like Douma in a way. Like demons in a way. We really enjoy watching villains die just because we hate them.
Many demons I believe, and that drum demon, became demons because they hated someone and wanted to kill them.
Personally, I love that there's a mix between demons with tragic backstories and assholes. Then you have Doma who is frightfully apathetic. Great KnY video and will eagerly await for more videos in the coming seasons!
For days, I have been wondering why I like him, but now I get it he looks a lot like whis from dragon ball. Even his characteristics are like him. He is calm, speaks politely and has immense strength, and knows exactly when to get serious. Easily my fav character of series.
dude is one of my faves cause lack of emotion and compassion combined with thinking you're showing those traits or other human traits makes for one badass villain. seriously wish he would've stayed alive đ plus his calm demeanor is dope asf knowing he can destroy you
He was already a demon before becoming a demon
I cannot wait to see the Douma, inosuke, kanae, and shinobu fight animated. It will be so good!!!
Kanao* kanae is the elder sister of Shinobu and kanao
Kanao* although i do wish they would animate the battle between kanae and douma
Ever since I read up on the manga a year ago Douma became my favorite Upper Moon demon, just LOVE his personality juxtaposed with how good and ruthless/powerful of an antagonist he is.
Every demon before death: I Regret Everything I did.
Douma: GGWP
LMAO đ
Enmu: I want to restart so I can actually kill them all
I think..Douma's blood demon art are really suitable with his âšpersonalityâš that just heart-cold behaviour...so yeah...its coldđâ...
Cold, but elegant and beautiful that blood art is.
He is what you would call a âHate Sinkâ on Tv tropes.
A character that is SUPPOSED to be despised by the fandom & by the characters
He's a horrible person, but still an excellent villain.
Too bad he is one if my favorite characters
Too bad he isn't despised
Doma is not hate sink, Doma is written tragic or three-dimensional villain.
Honestly, after reading the manga; the way all of the upper moons died was so satisfying. Especially Douma, that entire fight was chilling
i agree!
Why
You explain these videos in such detail and the amount of effort is amazing đ€© thanks a lot
I think Douma villainy will pop up once heâs fleshed out in the anime manga doesnât get much exploration plus the guy is voiced by Mamoru Miyano so that guy will definitely will be remembered
definitely deserved more plot time. he such a good villian because he's so easy to hate. They really should have given him a whole arc
To hate him more?
Agreed.
ââ@@Potato0770 l don't hate him
It's kind of interesting how all the characters at the final selection cover the 5 senses. Like Tanjuro's smell, Inosuke's touch, Zenistu's hearing, Kanao's sight, and Genya's taste(in a way).
supporting since d1 luv u dude
The video is good and being phsyco makes these villains more MEMORABLE.And his art is jaw dropping.đ„đ„
My favorite villain in this series would either be Kyogai or Gyutaro.
Gyutaro is MAINLY because his appearance, he's cool. not even a bit ugly. and as I see him, I see him as a protective brother. that's what I like about him.
Kyogai, I love his blood demon art. didn't really like his appearance but he is a really cool character with an interesting backstory. and his fight during the Tsuzumi Mansion Arc was one of, if not, the best fight in the whole series. Seeing Tanjiro and him respects each other at the end was heartwarming.
I agree about the gyutaro part. Hes not ugly at all and a great character overall
thanks for posting this
the best video ever!
I think they got the voice actor wrong. Throughout my time reading the manga,I always imagined his voice would much resemble or close to that of a kid because of his demeanor. He doesn't seem to always be looking forward to a fight & mostly just plays around with his opponent. Personally I don't understand why he's "The Worst" bad guy simply for not having any emotions.
So one thing that I never really understood from the manga is why does doma become a demon. Most of the demons have a reason, akaza wants strength, kokushibo wants life, gyutaro wanted to protect his sister. But it seems like doma just was like "ok sure"
Because douma was apathetic. He sees Muzan as the god that people always held him up to be and believes in Muzan because of that. He never cared about his human life so why not trade it in for immortality and a super powerful body?
the databook says: when doma was 20 years old, he met muzan and was turned into a demon. he was so move by his encounter with the latter he made muzan the god of the eternal paradise cult. Despite his loyalty and worship of Muzan, Muzan didnât like him.
It seemed in Muzanâs experience, he had determined those without strong attachments or cravings wouldnât evolve greatly as Demons. Even so, [Doma] seemed to have more talent than the others, since he was able to rise up in ranks as Upper Moon Two.
He was sometimes consulted by his believers, and seeing them crumble under the weight of their desires, be it for money, status or love, seemed to be too foolish for him, but he felt curious what the feeling was like. He had money, status, and an almost-immortal body, but he didnât feel anything special, so he switched partners* every now and then to try to play the childish game of love"
douma has no emotions or empathy, and believe god and heaven and hell do not exist. i imagine upon encountering muzan, he was intrigued by muzan - what he deems as the closest being to god.
this is relatable. iâll just say. letâs see how this will end
Okay but his anime debut has to be the coldest one thus far in my opinion
Doma is actually my favorite villain, but sadly he died quickly. I just want to see him go all out
1:21 - AYOOOO THAT DEKU FIGURINE LOOKS AMAZING! O_o
I do think that the writer corrected that the poison is supposed to be 700 times not 70. It was a mistake by him/her.
Douma sounds like he's alexithymiac. His 'struggle' with emotions (or lack of emotions) is something I understand. He's the most relatable character I've ever seen.
I cant wait to see this animated
Again thanks for covering my favorite villain who understand why people detest more than Gyokko (my least favorite bext to Kaigaku and Muzan). And I am hopeful that VA they choose for Douma captures how twisted he is, which makes the shift in voice while encountering Daki and Gyutaro make sense. Keep on doing what you do best!
Great video, Doma is definitely sick and twisted, just imagining everything you went over in this video animated sounds awesome.
YO WHAT? last time i saw one of your videos it was last 2 years ago(took a break from anime hehe) and i noticed ur voice changed like WHAT? its deeper now than before.
Everyone's talking about Shinobu, but can we also talk about Akaza? It's clear that Akaza hates him, yet Douma is still so friendly towards him! Perhaps it's because of the same twisted love-for-hate he has with Shinobu?
Akaza hates him, tries to kill him, and thus Douma believes they're friends because of his twisted mindset.
Heâs like that character that fullfils his role in the story so good that we actually end up personally hating him. You can say I hate him with passion, but yah fk douma
I just LOVE that he seems to want to be friends with the other demons.
Awesome you have the most informed video "keep up coming "!!!
Like many in the comments, I seriously hope he gets some good treatment when the anime gets to him. I understand the story necessity to take him out the way he was because there's just no way they could've taken a full fight with him, Upper 1, and somehow find a way to beat Muzan after without some crazy literary stretches and he still gets enough moments to really dissect the way his mind works but for one of the top 3 he just didn't get enough in my book to make his placement satisfying
Doma is an amazing villain because he feels no shred of emotion. He's easily in my top 10 favorite demon slayer characters.
One of the best villain so far i like how he's emotionless and psychopathic style of villain.
If you hate douma, that means he did his job well as a demon ...love Douma
I love him
His faces seem careless like he understands exactly what heâs saying and smiles because he sees nothing wrong with it he is completely insane he was insane even before he became a demon i could instantly tell how he would sound in the anime from just reading the manga he would have a sort of high pitch sound with a crazy laugh Ik there is already a demon who sounds like that in the anime just forgot his name
Doma does have the cleanest drip though
Unpopular opinion: Douma is my favourite character in all of demon slayer
Same
definitely
Not an unpopular;lar one, Doma has the biggest fanbase.
@@Mithras-jp4jp yea Douma is the best
Same
Shout out to featuring Johan. Tenma is best boi. Watching that again with my roommate
I love all your vids man Big Up đđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸ
He's drawn so beautifully in animeđ„°
After reading the Manga me to Douma- " I need flamethrower, a lot of nichirin blades and most importantly......Gojo Saturo , just to erase this demon from existence!!!
This is a really good video thank you animeUproar.....I'm now one of your subscribers
Letâs go appreciate the video and keep up the good work
doma is the only demon that gave me chills of horror
Hey! I love all your Demon Slayer Videos! Could you create more My Hero Academia videos though? How about a video that shows how much all the characters have progressed ever since coming to in U.A.! That would be awesome!
I get Doma think about it he doesn't feel so he learns by watching others when it comes to love je probably saw his mom and dad's situation as true love so he thought he loved the insect hashira
Loving the AOT theme music in the background .. and loving your videos as usual!
He is my favorite upper moon not because of his voice BUT THE FACT THAT HE LITERALLY SAID "who the fuck am i gonna clean up the mess mom made" HE IS SO FREAKING COLD (pun intended)
I was so happy to finally have a demon that didnât have a sappy backstory. It got old fast that we were supposed to feel bad for all the demons
Lower rank demon meeting: please don't kill me Muzan sama
Upper rank demon meeting: yo what's up Muzan.
I am so exited to see this animated
