Most of these schools are private. Massive shout-out to Sir Thomas Rich's in Gloucester, where Sam Underhill went. We're a state grammar but punch way above our weight in regional and national competitions

John Fisher are a state school...they also have Kieran Treadwell in the Ulster/ireland team and Ben Axten-Burret who plays for Hong Kong

You would have to bend your eligibility criteria a little bit - but I think you have already done that. Try connecting these names and see what school you come up with! Rob Andrew, Rory Underwood, Tony Underwood, Mathew Tait, Lee Dickson, Tim Visser, Alex Tait, Ed Williamson, Rory Clegg, Calum Clark, Alex Gray and Ross Batty.

These private schools don't necessarily develop their own talent.
County Development Pathways end up highlighting U13,14s Club players who then get offered Sports scholarships and then they're lost to the Community Clubs that developed them from minis.
What get's missed are late developers such Alex Dombrandt, who don't physically develop until U18/U20s, and by luck end up playing at University.
Itoja was a basketball player until he got picked up by Herts RFU "Try rugby" session
