I clicked on this because it sounded vaguely familiar, and I'm always down to check out different Wonderland themed ideas. Then, as I started seeing the art style, I realized why this felt so familiar! Hyptosis was the source of some of my favorite games on Newgrounds. I just loved the storytelling and world building. It's so cool to see an update to this game. Makes me want to go back and play Kindom of Liars again.

I just found out about this project and am overjoyed. The Alice is Dead series is a core part of my early teenage years and I have always come back to it from time to time, even if only in memory. I am very happy to know that the people involved in the making of it are well, and working in an awesome remaster/revival, that I am certainly getting at launch! Just wish the best for you all!

An Era defining flash game. I can't wait. Been a fan for a long long time. Is it too early to tell or will there be remasters/new installments/steam ports for other the other series' as well? I'd happily pay for all of them. You made my childhood pretty fantastic.
That means so much to me. For now I am only planning on doing Alice is Dead, but I would maybe like to revisit some others for sure. It's something we talk about a lot.

I am very attached to this game. I’ve recommended it to many a friend, I’m so glad there will be new content and I’m hoping that it blows up because it truly deserves it. I really hope that this only adds to the original game and doesn’t change anything too much since alice is dead defined a good portion of my childhood.

I'm not too worried about the game blowing up or not but I would really like everyone who played the original to be able to play the new one or to see it played, because I'm really trying to preserve and add on to our original creation. So I'm not trying to do anything crazy I just want to make it exactly like it was but painted with my new tools and skills that I've learned and also be more accessible on new platforms. I based a mini-comic series in English class in first year of high school around the chest and boogieman song slowly leaking through the cracks, thank you for twisting my childhood in such glorious ways, I'm sure my teachers were concerned for me. XD
Like a couple of others have said, I also remember playing this as a kid, and the mysterious, gritty feel it had. I loved all of it. I definitely consider it a classic. Thank you for making this series, keep going!

This is a classic!, my mother used to play the original flash game, I kept looking at her play, I remember being traumatized in a way when I saw alice dead on the floor, from time to time I still remember, this game has a unique atmosphere!, excited about the remake!!
Played this game when I was a lad, the atmosphere and visuals have stuck with me all these years and inspired me artistically a ton, can’t wait to play this and relive those memories in glorious HD.

A bit late to the party but the Alice is Dead trilogy was my favorite game series on Newgrounds back in the day (followed closely by Gretel and Hansel, which I'm sad never got a Part 3), and I'm extremely ecstatic to see that the love is being rekindled. I can't wait until it's fully out.

I literally just remembered this series because I was talking about point and click adventures with my friend. I'm so hyped up to see this is all getting a remake and maybe a continuation. I've wishlisted it, I'd love a release date announcement though!

So excited for this! When they announced Flash was being taken down around two years ago, Alice is Dead was one of the first things to pop into my mind to replay. This series had such a big impact on me as a kid. Good luck with the project and hope to see more of it soon!

My current plan is to completely restore and polish the original three games into one solid game. Then depending on player response I would like to expand on it from there!

Hey! Thank you so much! Yes, the original games had to remain under 10 megs which is crazy small by today's standards lol. The games were short out of necessity lol! Im a little late to the party, but Im absolutely THRILLED to see you working on this project! Your point n' click games were my childhood and I'm so excited to see you remaking this game! Obviously this must be taking a lot of time, but Im curious: do you see yourself giving Kingdom of Liars a similar treatment in the future?
I would actually love that because that's one of my favorite things I ever made, however I'm not sure the audience is there to warrant the time it would take to make it. If things went super super well for Alice's dad and I could sort of take some time off, I might do it for fun. But I can't see myself doing it as a financial endeavor unfortunately.

This looks very impressive. The aesthetic of the old games are better in some areas, but I love the amount of passion that went into this. It's a unique spin on the fairy tale with a lot of strange twist and imagery

Oh my god, I remember playing this game when I was a kid. I was absolutely obsessed with Alice in Wonderland and creepy stuff, so this was the absolute best! Still is one of the best games I've ever played.

Me and a friend are planning to release a game of our own at some point, and we were trying to find someone who can make promotional art. Granted, the game hasn't started production, and its in its early stages in development, so the art isn't needed right away.

I really like how dingy and unwelcoming the original visual style felt. I almost feel that the new style takes away from that a bit. It comes off cleaner and less dirty, I get that it's part of becoming an HD game, but I hope it still feels kind of decrepit.
