“Its ok to make things comfortable and enjoyable for your kids” literal chills😭 been saying this forever đŸ˜©
    Edit
OK look I understand the people that don’t agree with me on some level. I had parents that did not make anything comfortable or enjoyable unless I did something seriously deserving of a reward. They were very much tough lovers. And I do feel like that made me a very humble, considerate, and well-rounded person. Additionally, there are some adults out there, whose parents definitely coddle them to this day and probably told them every single day of their childhood that they are the king of this earth. And those people are so annoying. But I feel like there’s a way to raise a child in moderation. I love kids and I think that they are a gift to this earth. Ppl constantly tell kids that childhood is the best time of their life so why not make it the best time of their life. I feel like making certain things comfortable and enjoyable for your kids isn’t spoiling them its just letting them be kids.

I am Mexican American, and when I was a child, my hair was extremely curly. Unfortunately, due to the times before much was available for curly hair and due to my mother not having the patience to detangle
My hair correctly, hair time usually consisted of stress, crying and frustration. My mother often kept my hair short due to said issue.
