As a PC technician from AM2 to AM4. I can tell you there's always that small percentage of people who think the solution to something not fitting is to use more force.
So I have a pc I just built tdy but nothing pops up on my monitor and my case fans arnt turning on and no rgb turn on I was wondering if you could help
@@Chris.300 Make sure the power cables inside the PC are connected to the right ports and that they are connected properly. If it still won't start then best to take it to your nearest PC repair shop.
This brought comfort to my mind as my brand new built system currently won’t post/boot. A friend suggested I may have seated my cpu wrong, but I could’ve sworn I made sure to pay attention to the arrows, and I figured that It would only seat one way(the right way). I didn’t want to go thru the trouble of taking off my AIO to check and this makes me reassured that I didn’t mess up installation. I cleared cmos, reflashed BIOS, and still can’t get it to post/boot. The LED indicators flash in this order when powering on: Orange(dram), White(vga), Orange(dram), Red(cpu) then it begins to loop: White, Orange, Red over and over. Fans turn on, case lights, AIO, but no signal to monitor and the LED light loops constantly. I also found that the RAM I bought isn’t on the “QVL” for my cpu/mobo combo. Would that be the problem?
@@pcmeld Will be ordering a new kit soon, hoping that solves things 🙏🏽 if that doesn’t work it narrows down to a DOA mobo or cpu. But what are the odds? everything is brand new 💔
@@DiveToneTusk after testing parts in another PC, I figured out I had a faulty PSU and faulty GPU. I must have really bad luck 🥲 everything was brand new so I RMA’d both parts, but in my impatience/frustration (and good deals that dropped at the time) I ended up buying another 1000w Seasonic PSU for $200 and MSI 79xtx for $900. Compared to the $980 I spent earlier that year when I bought the Hellhound 79XT, i couldn’t let that price pass me by for an XTX. Popped in the new parts and the PC booted properly and has been great ever since. The parts I RMA’d were replaced so they’re just sitting in boxes, I was either gonna sell them or build another PC for someone but never got around to dealing with it yet. Been “busy” 😆
I was a bit scared because I thought if I wriggled it to get it to fall in the pins might get bent but from this video it looks like it should be fine.
@@Gomer._.well I got an intel cpu and I Bent the pins on my motherboard eventually after a year and a half the motherboard die I just replaced it and everything is fine

Because you couldn't possibly be wrong its the CPUs fault for not fitting in
@@Chris.300 that's a power issue. Follow your power cable and make sure it's connect correctly and the connection is secure. Lmk if that works

could be the ram then. Try with a different kit and see if it works

Don't forget to thermal paste before seating your CPU. Put the paste between the CPU and the Mobo.
Gotta keep it real cool with cooling on both sides of the CPU
👍
I did it thank you, temps are realy cool 👍😎 it doesn't turn on but temps are realy cool
No you do not out thermal paste between the cpu and mobo it will not work at all

Engineers are so smart they do that w some car batteries as a safety feature
All batteries have a slightly fatter positive terminal
Thank you. There was no triangle on my motherboard.
The way he was holding the cpu at the start scares meee aaaaaaaaa😵😵
I just put in my cpu and it turns on and off what does that mean ?
Thanks i actually installed cpu bt 1st it went half way the ther half wasnt in fully slightly appied pressure and it went in
That’s what you call built fool proof
surely a bunch of pins got bent lol

Btw just a question can I feel wind blowing while touching the back of the amd stealth cooler ?
That's normal if the fan is on
