Wasteland 3 is the third game in a series stretching back to 1988! Predating Fallout by nearly a decade Wasteland introduced us to post-nuclear RPGs with more traditional party-based combat than the (mostly) solo Fallout game. Tell me if you've played any games in this series!

Of all the fights in the game, the hardest I encountered was the Company Shop bar in the Speedway. It's fine if you're doing the quests for the groups, but I was murdering them all, so the bar group just opens fire. Wiped my level 24-25 squad in two turns six or seven times in a row. Utterly bonkers.

1:21:44 pathfinder games are very good. Especially wrath of the righteous. I also recommend rogue trader (same game studio).

Played this when it came out. Good game. Have to go back and play the DLC. I backed the various kickstarters for the game. These games along with New Vegas are the true heirs of the original Fallout games (1 and 2).
Sounds like I picked the exact opposite decisions to you so interesting to see your play through.
Edit: so I went and reloaded my save. I have no idea what’s going on but my melee guy looks like a tyranid; I have a two headed goat, a honey badger and a robotic toaster as pets (pretty good ones too!) and scotchmo (the old drunk) is dressed in chrome power armor. lol.

I liked the writing and setting in this game, but the combat and leveling felt like a total misfire to me.

Wasteland 3 is absoloutly fantastic and yes I sided with The Patriarch and I don't regret it :P
