Whats an absolute trash boss, the clone phase is just stupid, 5 clones running around you everywhere doing bullshit attacks. No way of seeing what attacks theyre doing so you can react, all you can do is run around and hope you don't get hit. If even one of those curse attack hit you you'll get stunned locked an instadie. Attacks with no windup, every ranged attack is homing, wears a dress and is unstaggerable, got a second phase that exactly the same as the first except one attack, i mean whats the point of that, take a page out of dark souls book and make multiple phases interestting atleast. Absolute boring garbage thast hard for all the wrong reasons
Killed him in the first try with a 109 ninja build... my advice get a spongy bot, save ur tools and the shift and use weakness and sloth then spam his bk he dies pretty fast anyway and u won't need to worry about dodging much ... second phase if the bot servived use the shift (feral prefered) and spam his bk along all ur core abilities to break his ki so he doesn't do clones or rains ... and what's left of his health u can kill with tools cuz he doesn't block them and had almost no projectile def ... and keep moving whilst that ... that's my experience with him ... helpful vid tho thank you so much ☺

Good vid man, but I'm noticing the guy is a lot more aggressive in my playthrough & spams clones & like it's going out of business, I once had 12 on screen at once, all teleporting around & spamming so many aoe's I just get stunlocked to death, what the hell am I doing wrong?

I cheesed it by grabbing a summon and staying backed up in the starting area and shooting the center eye with a cannon until the dark realm came and used him as bait to kill the tentacles and once the dark phase was over I cheesed it again bu shooting the eye again
This boss in dream of the Demon is a fu$@€ng nightmare! He has so many more clones doing all this crazy ass shit and the sword rain? Yeah he does that every chance he gets. He combos like mad, he is pretty slow but Jesus Christ man. I though the fight before him was bad but this is like 100 levels above that, absolute bs imo It's a freaking nightmare. Still stuck on him in Dream of the Demon, and I don't have ps+ so I literally have to do it alone. May my sanity find me once again.
Same... Died to him like 50 times already. First 2 pplaythroughs were easy, but dream of the demon has me beat... Guess i should farm more, im only level 280... But Tokichiro was so much easier.
@@misterlobsterman Damn that's rough man. I believe there was a soul core that would wipe out the dudes clones so you never had to fight all of em at once, just use it then baam back to one. Also I'm on Dream of the Nioh now but haven't played much recently, around level 650ish. It does get better, just gotta remember attack patterns and if you can counter def do that!
they at least didnt force you to redo tokichiro again and again everytime you die on kashin koji they could have, which would have been super cheap i know a lot of devs which would have forced that shit on you

For me the worst part is him getting back up at full health. Tough enough killing him once but then he revives. With this being essentially 3 boss fights in a row I'd be surprised if anyone can do it first try.

Use the kusarigama high stance and holly water When you reach phase 2 he become à more agressif and randomly moves Use barrier and holly shit water In this phase his ki decrease easly get close to him and Use your odachi ( demon slayer odachi from heaven 🤣🤣🤣) dont back down cut him in pieces,if he Use clones attack focus on him with odachi combos If you know How too do the skils combos with odachi or spear you can rapidly kill his ki and beat him
You could throw anything to him and you'd beat this boss finally. This boss likely a gimmick fight to end the chapter. mostly a good player need one or two tries to beat him since he has low HP and Ki pool here. as long as your gear and weapon level are close or higher by recommended level. koji wouldn't be most difficult encounter. But boss like this is going to be a biggest bullshit in NG+ or higher difficulty. Of course we don't talk about player who willing to do million hours of grind overpowered gear to melt any Ai boss in second.
That clone thing is so BS. "How do we make this boss that's the bad guy in our story hard?" "How about we give him a clone attack where you get wiped if you didn't know already Daidara Bochi is effective at killing them in a game where you're doomed if you end up in a fight with more thean 2 enemies?" "Yeah, that's a great idea." I'm just glad you don't have to fight Tokichiro again if you die against Koji.

Trying to beat him in NG. I'm level 180 while the recommended level is 214 lol maybe I'm over my head. I can get him to the 2nd stage but usually won't have enough heals and talisman to last till the end. Ah gonna keep trying I guess.
It’s so sad this game is always so close to being good but the bosses just ruin it. I don’t think one boss in this game is worth fighting except for magara and shuten and they’re two of the only bosses who share moves so this game technically only has one boss in it that is worth the price of admission.

When I got to that part, I thought I was supposed to do a grapple move on him like when you lower the health of Osakabe and Bochi and he healed because I didn't do it.
I took him down to like 25% of his health, and he did the clone move and it grew so chaotic that I was dead in 2s. -_-

The only remotely strong thing they have are the clones, everything else is laughable.
For clones, take daidara boshi, lady osakabe or souls core with a big aoe.
If everything else fails use 3 clay bells and spam yokai abilities.
This is the only boss that I've played once and knew I was going to be in for the long haul.
