    Is there a SoClean 2 water chamber adapter available for Airsense 11 yet?

    What about cleaning the connector from the tubing to the machine. The manufacturer says to clean it out once a week, so I've been doing that. Is there an easier way?

  • @jastikbabu
    @jastikbabu Před 2 lety +2

    To trick the machine to blow air through the tube (for drying after a rinse), consider using a balloon on the end where the mask tube connects. Secure lightly with a string or a rubber band.

      You don’t have to do that. Just turn off the “SmartStart” and “SmartStop” options on the screen and the air will run continuously until the tube is dry. It takes about 8-10 minutes of continuous air flow for the tube to dry up.

    I’ve noticed no matter what I do I get rain out with the climate tubing but not with the slimline tubing using the same humidity at level 6. Why is that? I found that on “auto”, I don’t feel like I get enough humidity. So I’ve been using the slimline one.

    So my new Airsense 11 instructions say to wash the long tube, tank, & piece the tube plugs in to once a week. Then wash/rinse the mask and short tube every day, and just empty and wipe out the tank and let it air dry daily.

    Does the ResMed AirSense11 come with the ClimaAir grey (heated) tubing in the box, as part of the machine? (or it requires a separate purchase?) Thanks.

      It depends on how it was ordered from your supplier. We are based in Idaho so we order our units with a heated tube for all of our ResMed AirSense 11's. If you are in a humid state, your supplier might not do that automatically. :)

    Fastest way to dry the tubing without a balloon on the end as someone recommended...or having to hold your finger over the end is to use the resmed myair app set on test drive for about 15 minutes...

    Just got a new ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet and the filters appear to have different surfaces on each side. Is there a front side & a back side to these smaller, rectangular filters?

    I guess I've been lucky because even after hours of letting my tube hang, after washing it, it still has a lot of water drops inside tube, so I just turn on the machine for 15 to 20 mins and leave the tube alone and it drys out my tube just fine. So far my machine hasn't turned off on me.

    Where can one buy the hypoallergenic filters? On Amazon?

    • @LiveWellCPAP
      @LiveWellCPAP  Před 2 lety

      You should be able to find them there with a search of hypoallergenic filters. 😀

      I called ResMed direct to get these filters and they don't sell them direct to clients but your DME should have them, mine did. Anyhoo, ResMed said the part # is 39304. I was ecstatic when my DME said they have them and my insurance pays for them. The problem with Amazon is sometimes those filters are too big and they're not always specifically for the AirSense 11. Btw, if you're able to get the correct ones (part # 39304) they fit perfect on the AirSense 11.

    Please don't tell people to not empty out the water chamber everyday. I know we are only putting in distilled water but if not changed everyday it will cause respiratory issues.

    • @LiveWellCPAP
      @LiveWellCPAP  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi there! The water is used to create the humidification only which is based on a one way value system. The water is not inhaled into the lungs as is a common misconception. It is actually not a concern in the causation of respiratory issues. You are completely entitled to your belief and choice in changing out your water daily though😀
