Just put together the same PC on Meta and both of the companies you recommended in this comment section and they came out around the same price, I'm talking like max $50 difference and specifically on CLX that includes parts that are currently on sale, without the discounts on CLX and on Ironsides it was about $270 more for the same thing.
Nicely done good sir. Thanks for the review.

could you do a best pre built pc video? im tryna look for a good started pc and im not tryna get scammed haha. You know what youre talking about so i trust you haha
I see this is a year ago. But has anything improved or am i just gonna be fucked out of getting a prebuild for a while longer?
The pricing isn't that surprising if you are factoring in the costs of assembly, shipping, CURRENT component prices (don't act like we haven't suffered a GPU shortage), and any warranty of a pre-built. Most other custom pc sites are like this because you are paying for convenience, not just performance and quality. If you buy from a pc-build company, expect to pay more than if you did all the homework and assembling yourself -- it's called the profit margin.
*Over* 300% mark-up for a windows 10 key isn't "profit margin"; it's a strait up FLEECE. Maybe if they stopped throwing money at youtubers they wouldn't need to be so MASSIVELY overpriced. I get they have to make money, but 130 dollars for windows 10? Nah son; Msoft themselves only charge 30. This company is shit; Use them if you want to spend 1799$ for a 899$ Pc.
I was watching the video and the pc he built with Ironsides showed insufficient stock for both processor and graphics card which means they were out of stock and reflected the old price. @10:26
You my friend got a new sub I was lookin at them for my new PC, because I’m looking to have a gaming pc but I also want it to be able to handle pcvr and saw you in my recommended. Thanks for your honest review.
Thanks for the sub!
Does Meta PCs, Origin PC, IBuyPower and other customizable PC shops ship to Southeast Asia or is it geo blocked due to technological reasons?
It's geoblocked cause world wide shipping big, heavy, super fragile and expensive shit isn't the easiest thing unless you're Jeff Bezos
Let go another video
I know you dont get to pick ads but the f i rst ad was for Meta PcS. Lol
Good video. Was looking into meta pc. I think I’ll go Ironsides because of the warranty and value

My brothers trying to talk me into getting a Gaming laptop since I spend most of my time on the computer and the thing is I have a decent computer and the most I play on it is chess, Risk, City Skylines. I use to play sims 4 also but I got tired of EA and all the packs that could have been implemented into the base game or flushed out more instead of making Kits. Also, I was having issues with loading and starting up the game at times. If anyone has any recommendations I'm all ears because I can see City Skylines having problems loading and lagging as I grow my population. I currently have an Intel Core I5 that I'm using and would like recommendations for preferably gaming laptops since I'm in a wheelchair and don't have room for a Tower & Monitors and its hard to find a desk my chair could fit under other than a standing desk and those are expensive on their own my mom bought one hoping it would work and it was a $400 manual one that I tried and didn't like mainly because I couldn't adjust the desk myself and I had to get my control under the desk to be close enough to use anything on the desk so once I was under the desk I had to dislocate my shoulder to reach my controller or have someone raise it. Needless to say, it's now my mother's sewing table in the basement.
I have a pc that me and one of the one on one people thot that was good for me, thanks Todd. But he was very nice and Onder standing with me even though I'm a 14 boy who knows nothing about computers.

I build my own pc but I don't think it's fair to compare pc by specs with out having the pcs in front of you and seeing the build, tear it down etc.
Thank you for your honest feedback. Do you have a company to go through that you would consider the best?
How are they comparing nowdays? I was actually considering them for a new PC in the not too distant future.
I'm currently looking and compared them to Ironside and Origin for a gaming laptop. They were about the same price. Origin was 200.00 more but that was going from a 4080 GPU to a 4090 GPU so I'd say they are about the same in price. There are youtubers that give discounts for meta that can help you save a bit also.
@@RagnarTheRed-x5scan you share those users? I am looking at purchasing soon. Thanks!
Well since im tired of waiting for Sony to get their head out if their a$$ could you recommend a prebuilt for around 16 to 1700?
Found this one on best buy that should be pretty good. If there is a microcenter near you then I would check that out instead.

Meta is the most overpriced crap I've ever seen. Over 300% mark-up (compared to what MSoft themselves charge) for a windows 10 key. This company is a joke and probably needs to make up all the money they throw at idiot "influencers". Don't waste your money; You'll end up spening 1700$ for a 900$ PC.
Got here after seeing a guy on youtube saying he paid $2000 for a pc from meta with a fcking 3050 in it and everyone in the comments saying they want to buy from them. Dude got scammed really bad and was proud of it saying it was a good deal. Dude just got scammed paying more than a thousand dollars more on a computer and was proud of it saying it was a good deal, lmao.
I am curious what law you are referring to that mandates a 1 year warranty in the United States? There are laws about disclaiming the type of warranty, of upholding the warranty you gave and all kinds of regulations regarding what someone cannot or can do where a company might say, you violated the warranty by doing this unrelated thing so now we won't cover the product. I don't believe however that there is a legal mandate in the US that says you have to provide the warranty to begin with, and you would simply say the product is sold as is.
Mmm I was also confused by this
Meta PCs is kind of strange because I tried to see what the cheapest PC would cost from them and they included a Ryzen 5 APU with a 1650 super and I did not have the option to take off the graphics card and it was still over $1,000. Why would they even have the option of you buying an APU with a graphics card it doesn't make any sense and it's a rip-off. The Ryzen APUs are great but I wouldn't really buy a PC with one if I had money to get a dedicated graphics card at the start.
thats a shit deal i got a 3070 ti with a 5600x for 2gs from redux

They are based in Arizona for some reason if you purchase something online from arizona there is no tax so you are saving a lot on not paying the sales tax and you are supporting a smaller company... why would you advocate for supporting a bigger company? thats how we get wal-marts... thats just dumb...
Price isn't the end all be all for everyone, some people want the higher build quality and individualized service that comes with buying from a small-ish company. I'm willing to pay a premium if I know someone, or have heard from someone I trust, that says the company provides a quality product and good, timely service. This is what I've heard about meta pc, and my time is too valuable to go researching every possible competitor, so that's good enough for me.
you need to redo this review as it stands meta pc is better than ironside for price per customization it feels.
is medapc really xidax ? there interface is the same drop downs etc.. ..
is there a company i can buy a pc from that isnt shit?
I have two PC reviews on the channel over CLX and IWN, two vary different companies but I think both of them are pretty solid, I would give those videos a glance if you are interested
I really wanna buy from them. Their financing is pretty good. But I'm a minor, and idk if I can come up with the money every month
This is a little late, but being a minor with no credit history, and no job, they would be a little worried about you not making the monthly payments also. This is how it works: They are not giving you a pc, with just your word, that you will pay it back. A 3rd party(a bank they hired) would give you a loan to buy a pc with Meta, but not without a means of income, and a good credit history. Save up and buy with cash, it's always better.

@@timhowe2794 Also don't take out a LOAN for a PC; ESPECIALLY for a damn prebuilt. You're already getting fleeced; don't spend 3500$ for a sub 1k tower.
@@dakota9821 I was informing him how loans work, not to get one. That's why I said " Save up and buy with cash, it's always better." And I know that Meta charges way too much for what they offer. it's always better and much cheaper to build your own PC, but not everyone can do so.
im so confused why 1600 dollars for a 3050 with a i5 10400f, that is not a good price
It has not impoved, just so you know - you can now get a 3060 ti new for 300$ and they're selling a pc with a 3060 ti for 2000$. Basically double the actual price, even with expensive components from evga.

@Jose Victoria
AMD ryzen 7, 16 gigs of ram, can play most modern games with 1080p, 60fps and all the graphics settings cranked up to max.
For 1500 now you get a 4060Ti
hahahaha. I totally agree with this. i was literally comparing the same 2, Ironside and meta. i've seen alot of adverts for Meta, And compared to Ironside after doing 2 builds side by side. ironside was WAY cheaper. Like $1200 cheaper. For almost identical specs. Ive been saving for the past year, and i have the money now. Just searching for the company i want to buy from. And I am leaning towards Ironside. But I'd like you to do a video on the reputable smaller companies youve found and just do a brief description of them. I caught one you mentioned in this video. Digital storm. but it sounds like you got more up your sleeve you didnt mention.... I really relate to this. granite i was searching for comparisons on companys, and found your video. i have a pc with a 2060 for 2k (ive had it for like 3 years-ish) and i cant even play rainbow 6
Well, there is probably an underlying problem there. Rainbow 6 should be able to be played on most hardware and an RTX 2060 should definitely be able to play it. I would check out our discord linked in the description, we have some people that can help you there.

I got one of these from Boogie2988 and it was just garbage. It couldn't do anything.
What do you mean that couldn't do anything? What were the specs and what were you trying to do with it?
Seems like another Artesian PC will see how it goes.
I don't think you mentioned made in america one time
Why does that matter? Almost every system integrator buys parts that are manufactured in China and Taiwan and then assembles the PC here in the US. They are no different than Digital Storm, Build Redux, NZXT, Ironside, etc. They all do the exact same thing.
@@HardwareJunkie because some of us who love american values and dis like slave labor to the degree of child labor woman inequality or even religouse persicuation all of these happening in China. Now IF we america did the same you bet your but I would say the same for america but its not.

@@UnknownUser_0000 ok first they dont stock supplies they order them.. they say it takes 3 weeks before they build.. and i got a we have to source your parts.. um gather sorry.. caught them in alittle lie.. so i went on amazon sure enough all parts available now next day and for 600 less soo why even have them build you ask well video cards hard to come by fake ones labeled and sent out to us from amazon during the pandemic that's the only reason i had them do it saw the wall of video cards on Facebook.. again probably a big fib.
they can build 50 pcs ready to ship but when you come along ohhh 3 weeks.. and source.. so you mean order i thought you had stock on hand.. so either they order the pcs ready build then up the price and ship them again where's the value.. they only have 4 video cards 3 motherboards don't do custom work etc.. when you see that +100 more next to something else you click thats their profit..
so unless you dont want to build a pc or don't know how there's no reason to hire them their custom cases are bought from nzxt and pcs probably already built by them hmmmmm... who knows but i find it suspicious you can build 50 pcs ready to go with 4 people and mine takes almost a month.. and the fact that 1 guy responds to online texts so if you have a problem with him dont like him what ever you cant get someone else to moderate your issue or if he dont like you they just ignore you..
another thing is they ship the pcs saying they tested them i got mine with a massive error i had to take all day to figure it out. it did not boot into windows it booted error and then didnt boot to windows to like some pre installed windows thing... when you build a pc it should be put right into windows ie ready to go so this inspected burn in massive testing lol nope.. also i heard or saw ricky say or was a forum where this company was another company and it was so bad they changed their name and when you look up this company they did have another name.. so is ricky not caring is ricky blind to this i dunno and why is ricky pushing this company i mean hes like their bitch or something and all their pcs are well bland basic cases etc.. lol you can order the cases from amazon too so yea theres no reason to hire these guys the only value now they offer is you just dont want to build a pc and are ready to shell out 500 more for them to take 3 weeks to do it and them calming sourcing parts uhh huh reach behind you build my pc and ship within a week takes 5 hours to build a pc or less but has time for 20 prebuilts.. also i bet your returns they look at them etc and put them in the Q of prebuilts.. makes you wonder
oh and a big one the return policy it says 7 days but go on their site read it its like 15 or 30.. so they dont know what there doing.. and and after 3 days you cant cancel and get your money back no where it says that on the reciept no where you have to find it on their terms of sale way at the bottom and click on it and read 2 paragraphs so they hold your whole money hostage if they cant get the parts what they just keep you on the hook or if you go 5 weeks in wheres my pc sorry past 3 days.. no you take 50% up front now then later.... if thats the case or order the parts with your money and then i pay in full.. or you dont offer builds anymore and you have prebuilts .. this comany does not know how to company and or they do know how they just dont care.. im thinking on the just dont care and alittle bit of hahah all the way to the bank and the 10% just dont know how to company... so never again
