Today is another Magicians bar, and it's a doozy. A doozy. Weird word, doozy. Hunh.
Anyway, this is Alice's bar. So of course it smells like bacon. And looks like a tiffin. Because Obvs.

Soap & Clay is a family owned business operating in Washington State, but started out online thanks to Mrs. Soap & Clay's kickass brother and his amazing web design skills. The business was started as a tribute to Mrs. Soap & Clay's grandmother, the OG maker in the family that cultivated everyone's love for the DIY life. The studio/retail shop opened in 2017 on 6th Ave in Tacoma, and immediately began teaching soap, bath bomb, lotion, and scrub classes to the makers and maker enthusiasts of the PNW. In 2019, the pottery studio opened as well, making the soap shop a busy place full of artistic energy every minute of the day.
Mrs. Soap & Clay has been featured on Business Spotlight, New Day Northwest, and was awarded a coveted place on the South Sound's 40 under 40 list in 2019, an award given to the most influential business people under the age of 40 each year. She cried when she walked up to the podium to accept the award. A lot.
Drawing from her chemistry background and her maker spirit, Mrs. Soap & Clay infuses her favorite things into her soapy designs and creates products that are fun to see, use, and learn to make. Stick around for this ride - she'll take you on a great one.

Alice is all about her own self interest. She starts trying to get her brother back, come hell or high water. She wants to be good but she uses rules when they serve her purpose, but otherwise, she feels she is better than others. Smarter, more talented, just above others. She causes chaos so I don't know how that affects whether she is chaos neutral or just, well, Alice. I mean she broke the world, broke Q. I have pity but she did what she did. I love these bars. Your geode soaps are just freaking gorgeous!

You nailed it with Alice I agree. Her character is everything you said. But I do like all the other characters. Elliot is my favorite.

Me to too. If you love Elliott got to love Margo. They're awesome. Love this show so much I'm watching it again for the I don't know how many times how. But you know I can so I do.

I always thought of Alice as a chaotic neutral, though I would also consider Elliot and Margo in the same category. Like they try and do good things, but they are a bit self-centered (in the first season especially) but I love this show because the characters grow and evolve into their own individual needs as the seasons go on. They were so packed together as a group in the beginning but then they grew and have their own individual issues that they need to figure out how to solve and survive the chaos. Wouldn't they all be considered chaotic in some form then, whether good or neutral? Hmm... Soap wise, this definitely feels like a good rep of Alice! The dark broody colors tying in to the niff style is pretty awesome.
Editing to say how much I despise contractors that try to bail on you. We had a similar instance happen months back that cost us a fortune trying to repair issues in my sister's home. We cut ties but the contractor was completely unapologetic about the whole ordeal. We are still looking for another one to fix the previous guy's mistakes without it costing an arm and a leg and a head because we are losing our minds.
Shockingly, a concrete truck just showed up like literally 30 seconds ago. No workers in sight. I have no idea what’s going on right now. 😂

Alice was my least favorite character, she’s just SOOO selfish, I totally agree. And I LOVE these types of soap! Can’t wait to try it. Thanks!
I love this soap…I can see this as Alice. I’ve binged the show as I had a procedure yesterday and was at home to binge…can’t wait to see what other bars you come up with!!

If you enjoy fantasy type shows this is definitely one to check out! :) I was skeptical at first, but then I got hooked and now I'm constantly looking for more episodes. I'm so glad that they're doing a collection based on the show!

I don’t know the show, but the alignments are pretty universal. I was just having a conversation with a co-worker the other day and we were talking about what our alignments would be. I said definitely chaotic good. I am willing to cause disruptions for the good of humanity. 😈 😅 what about you?

As for the soap, gorgeous. I loved the original challenge attempts at the geode and this one is stunning. This color pallette is my jam!
I'll be on the lookout for why bacon = Alice! But I agree so far that Alice is a self centered egotistical person. That said, so far three episodes in Alice is NOT lawful! How do they go with LG? I was guessing more chaotic neutral when you started in on the D&D alignment scale. But that's three eps in.

What style soap making are you using in your videos? Cold or hot process? I have been working with
M& P for many years but thinking about diving in after more research?!
Hey! I mostly do cold process, but do make a fair amount of hot process and melt and pour bases. If you’re looking for info, I have a playlist for cold process beginners. Have fun!
