    That purple looks like an amethyst gem, it’s beautiful. I appreciate that you’re learning as you are teaching us, mistakes happen and that’s how we figure out what not to do next time! Thanks :)

    Its never a mistake that happens..its a learning experience! You cant learn something new or create an amazing new product if you dont try things and learn from each step..that's why its always wise to write down everything while creating anything new, so you can replicate it when you hit the jackpot!

    I like the crystal look it gave them! Like gemstone soap!!! The purple is so pretty.. I would call them amethyst bars.

    now thats a soap. i think if you had dried flower petals mixed into the epsom salt mix it would be very therapeutic as well. I think I might try this

    You choose some vibrant colours for your soaps, they're lovely. I have epsom and coarse sea salt in my supplies to make bath salts which I've done. I will make a salt based soap next. Thank you for the link (great idea) and for the tip adding salt to soap.

    If u use sugar instead of salt it becomes a soapy sugar scrub it's great just cut into cubes ones it is set and u have your own sugar scrub cubes

      Oatmeal soap with a coconut oil base would be better for dry skin. Epsom may make your skin drier.

    Hi again. I had two attempts at making these bars, but they all came out mushy and would not set. Obviously I made a mistake, but followed your recipe all the way. I use really good Soap base from STEPHENSONS. Please help? I have been making soap for years, never with Epsom Salt, but I would love to be able to make this one.

    I have Shea butter and glycerin pour and melt it turn out like a whip creamy soap. Will try to do it again like you doing it. Think I put too much Epsom salt started to lump and maybe the soap wasn't hot enough. I put the hand blender to it to get ride of the lump. I did it yesterday still feel wet 😔

  • @shugasnapjewelry9769

    I have a question, I tried making these, I used the clear melt and pour, purple mica powder and scenting and I made the epsom salt/soap mix like sand like you did. My bars never set, the bottom of the mold that would be the top never set and came out mushy and some stayed in the mold, they never did set. I am using the mushy bars on me and I am sad because the part that scrubs is wonderful and my bars smelled amazing where did I go wrong?

    • @koalasoap8435
      @koalasoap8435  Před 5 lety

      You can do a few things here. First the epsom salt salt bar will only last for about three baths. You can use less salt or switch to Himalayan salt.
