Absolutely gorgeous it's how it looks. I have not seen such delicate looking lace while researching working with melt and pour soaps. I'm learning something from you new everyday usually more than one thing. Thank you for helping me make three-dimensional soap not just two-dimensional soap. The depth and most of your soaps is so detailed. Using the clear melt and pour over the top of the lace makes it look like glass. Like looking into a wishing well oh, there's so much depth to it. I can't wait to show my daughter this one. On the weekends we're going to challenge each other to make something did they have seen in a video that week. Most of them will be small projects usually just a couple kind of like what you do when you're testing to see if something is going to work. And believe me this one really is a winner. And I can't wait to try it. May I ask where you got your Silicone lace impression mold at? I went to Michaels, and they had very little to choose from. I don't want to have to go to a soap shop to buy supplies. They're usually quite a bit more costly . Every month I get an online coupon from Michaels the Melt and pour is about 35 to $40 for the 10 lb tub of the clear. Which I end up paying only $15 to $20, because I also get a 20% off all items every other month. It goes along with the 50% off coupon. I hope to find a supplier that I can start purchasing from that would be less, in what I'm paying right now. I would have to order it in larger amounts in order to get a better price which I'm willing to do. Right now I'm just getting my melt and pour in what few things they have for the Melt and pour soaps. either way I still have more research to do. one of the things that I've struggled with was making extra money. Being on disability there's not many things that I'm able to get out and do. This I can do I want to learn how to make the lip balms and sugar scrubs and the bath bombs the lotions and there was one you did the other day then I saw that was in little 8 oz containers and you piped in your soap it was very luxurious looking almost like it could just melt, but it held its shape very well. that one I really liked as well as some of the other things that I've seen having to do with the beauty side of the products. when you can't go in and tell people the medicinal value of any of your honey products the shea butter, the goat milk products. It's hard to believe those can all be added to melt and pour but you can't tell the medicinal value of what each of those ingredients does. you can list what they have in them as a matter of fact I think you have to in order to be able to sell them. they say it makes you look like you're trying to play doctor. I have so much more to learn. That's why I spend the biggest percent as my time since I'm not able to do very much because of my back surgeries in September of this last year 3 months ago. that's why we're working with small projects and learning how products work with different colors of your mica, or the different scents that are add to them. so for me it's always one little project with a whole lot of learning LOL. take care and God bless Deb

Great video! I use these kind of mats and similar material little molds and what I do is gently pull on the sides of the mold/mat to release my soap embed or what have you. Just gently tugging on each end and then you can feel the soap pop out and you can flip the mold over and there it is! Or in the case of the longer ones like you used in this video, I just tug on each end and you can feel the soap release but I’d still have to do a gentle peeling it off of the mar...so I’m def going to try your technique! It might be easier! Especially pouring the clear on top of the design, I like that one a lot!

LMAO Seriously, I Love your stuff & wanted to thank you for all the sharing. I've tried different techniques & some are harder than others. ALL are hard, For ME BUT, when I can actually "pull off" a soap & make it look like it should... It makes me Super happy! My family has gone through lots of Drama in the last year. My Mom past away, the virus (of course) And my Daughter has gone back to a bad, abusive guy. It's super hard some days! I have learned that I need to celebrate Every Good moment! Hello my name is Deb, and I am new to soaping. Most of my reading has been done on cold process soap. Although I haven't made any yet while trying to figure out a safe way to store lye solution when there's children in the home. We have a small home but yet it is very unorganized especially my what started out to be a studio turned into a huge mess. I purchase the studio loft bed, to save room being able to store things under the studio area. Until one day when I took a spill off the top of it while trying to get down and exploded my L4 vertebrae in my back right where you bend. That was in September and of course that's around the time you start getting ready for Christmas Christmas packages everywhere all of my crafting supplies to make my Christmas decorations as well as to make some of my Christmas gifts. My daughter had to move the mattress which is a bed in a box it's absolutely wonderful, down to the studio level and had to store my things on top of the bed where the bed would normally go. As well as the rest of it had to be put in corners and stacked due to the small amount of space we have. I've been wanting to do soaping for a long time and I finally convinced my daughter to let's try some. Let's just say read all directions before you start LOL not that I know or anyting LOL. I'm laughing the entire time I'm saying this because it looks so easy on the video I think we watched one video while we had all the supplies sitting in front of us and it said melt it, fragrance your soap, add your color, and pour it into your molds. it wasn't until that night when I sat down and watched tons of videos from tons of different people and apparently the video we watched the lady was taking the easy way out on everything. I know that it is important to work with safety glasses when working with lye solution when making cold process soaps. but my thinking is so you should wear the glasses either way whether it be cold process or melt and pour working with high temperatures that can endanger your eye not just because of the acidic value of the cold process lye but also because of the heat value when heating melt and pour. That just makes Common Sense especially if you don't do it for you and you have your children in the room do it for them if they are standing close by accidents happened. But they're also caused by not reading directions not gathering enough information to those kinds of things. Not that I know anything about it but just saying LOL I think I need to get a well-written book about working with both types of soaps because I would love to do cold process as well. my daughter doesn't like the idea of using cold process soap because of the lye not after it's made but I'm talking about during the process of the saponification. She was told that it can cause explosions fires all kinds of things. The only thing that I have heard about is adding your lie to your water and not the other way around something to do with it can create a electrical charge like a static shock that can cause the lie to become more airborne and more toxic but there is no fires or anything included. maybe I need to look on CZcams and find out what people are saying due to their own experiences with cold process. Because they both have their advantages that I really like. take care and God bless looking forward to watching more videos I'm actually looking at videos now of doing the cupcakes. Happy New Year 2019. Take care and God bless Deb

Hi Deb, you have had quite a year. I do both types of soaps. I do CP when kids are at school. I do MP all year round. Actually I wear glasses, gloves, hair net with all my soaping MP or CP. With CP I add mask, goggles actually a face shield and of course a long sleeve shirt, pants, and closed shoes. I haven't really done these videos for CP because I am too muffled. Look at the Soap Queen videos for more help with soaping too. I think all of the soapers here have something to offer and believe me, I do make errors but I can edit them out or just never post the video, but remember that for every error, you will learn something new. Have a Happy New Year 🌻🌺🌻

Wow how delicate and beautiful those are. I have been looking for something similar to this in order to wrap around a bar of soap for a test run on a bar of soap. Now I have a video showing me how to make it and I would love to see you use it in a project. Do you think that is possible? What about like a white lace on a black charcoal facial bar. I think it would stand out beautifully. I hope to see it in a project someday thank you for teaching me how to make beautiful artisan soaps. It's something I really enjoy doing and is very calming for me. Especially when I'm using dried flowers Citrus lavender oh, and I'm not sure what else rose petals I think we used the other day, as well as some blue petals that looked like the lavender except for the color. I guess I'll have to do a little bit more research it's kind of like signing up for 21 and me. As soon as you get one lead, it leads you to more Leeds, that lead you to more leads. Thank God for the internet. I can't imagine still sitting there today with an actual set of encyclopedias. I can't imagine how huge the volume of the books would be. They would probably take up an entire Library LOL thank you for bringing the library to me. I'm not sure if I had asked you how old you are but would you mind if I did? I am 54 years old as of November of 2018. I became disabled in 1995 during my pregnancy with my youngest child when I suffered from 3 pulmonary embolisms and one deep vein thrombosis blood clots. 3 went to my lungs and one stayed in my stomach region. My teen and adult life to the age of 30 , was spent waitressing , and working in the chicken houses . Or on somebody else's Farm . both required a lot of physical strength that I was unable to continue with. I lost a lot of feeling in my right arm as well as my right leg. I can stand, but I have trouble walking over maybe 20 to 30 yards. I know working as a lead waitress pretty much running 10 miles a day in a fast-paced restaurant. the farm work also required a lot of heavy lifting and being on foot checking out and feeding the animals on the farm as well as removing cow manure and pig manure and chicken manure to the compost piles we were allowed to use the tractors and pitchforks for that. anyway the one thing I've learned about working with soap is it does not require me to carry a lot of weight. all of my soap making items will be in one room with a lock on the door that's to prevent my grandchildren from reaching any of my lye Solutions for my cold processing soaps. I won't be able to start the hot processing soaps until I have a floor that is not carpeted. I've seen several boil overs that I don't think would work well with carpet when I'm making hot process soap. or process as well heck there's a lot of processes that I wouldn't want to get in my carpet LOL. when I think of the temperatures that the lye can reach talkin about melting carpet pretty much. at least with melt and pour all of the process of working with the lye solution has already been done. I've watched a few videos on making your own melt and pour which does require you to use the lye solution. imagine the possibilities though. I know that the temperatures can be overheated in the microwave making that part of it more dangerous and would require thicker gloves it's part of my emergency kit now. I wish I had a lock on my bedroom door so I can work with some of the cold process soap with the lye in them to make my own melt and pour soap. and I can always make sure that my grandchildren are at school during the day, in order to make my melt and pour soap. I saw one the other day that was a cake a strawberry shortcake. It was round like a pie. It has strawberry embeds that are whole strawberries as well as half strawberries quite a bit of whipped white icing around the top as well as each individual slice. I think her name is Aryan she's from Quebec Canada and she has a little shop there actually last year she built a new shop on the land where her home is instead of having to go into town Everyday to open her shop but she was still working from home when it came to actually making the soap. And then would take it to the shop to cut it and package it create labels and also runs her online store. now everything can be done in one location. Talk about a gorgeous cake or, whatever it was Strawberry Shortcake but look like a pie lol but it was absolutely gorgeous and when she cut it it had a white bass with the red strawberry embeds and has probably got to be the prettiest pie I have ever seen, actually it's the only one I have seen so far but I haven't gone in researching them. I just seen what she could do and I'm one of those I can see something being made and go home and make it. it's in my saved list on working with melt and pour soaps. There are several different ones I think maybe eight or nine that I saved from her Channel, and that's all that she had made at the time, of the Melt and pour soaps, and she was in the middle of moving to her new shop she had not made anymore at that time.. I would love to try to make one of those Strawberry Shortcake pies one day. I was searching through your videos and have not come across one yet and was wondering if you had one in your playlist that you have made? and if so do you remember the name of it? all right well you take care and God bless happy soaping, I'll see you in the next video!🙃

It is a bug in the android system. It is an autofocus feature that is too sensitive to movement. Have tried to disable it but they are unable to do so. 🙁
