  • In this video we will use water soluble paper in melt and pour soap.
    Get Paper: amzn.to/2Kp3tnT
    This paper will work in my inkjet printer. It feels like thick tissue paper and the color quality on the paper is great after printing.
    Be sure to use clear melt and pour and not opaque.
    Do not add fragrance oils to the clear base. Add this to the goats milk white base.

    I have 2 questions and I can't find answers anywhere online.
    1. How long do you wait for the first layer of clear to set before adding a picture and how hot should the white soap be when you pour it?
    2. Do you find that the pictures bleed in your soap after a week or so if you use an inkjet printer? How do you stop this from happening? Should we wrap them right away?

    Just found your channel last night and I've been binge watching? Two question si hope you can answer for me:
    1. What size did you print these pictures in? Is it possible to do a video on how you printed the flowers on paper and 2. What is the ration on distilled water and mica for the swirl technique? I want to try and recreate your technique. Thank you love the soaps and especially your daughter. Very cute when she helps out.

    • @koalasoap8435
      @koalasoap8435  Před 5 lety +6

      The picture are printed on a regular inkjet HP printer. I print them the same size as the cavity, approx 2x3 inches. The distilled water for mica. I do about 2cc or 2mL (I use a pipette) and just do a small amount to mix the mica. Don't forget to use the coil whisk for the swirl technique. I will make more videos soon and will try to show the printing of the water soluble paper.
      I read your comment to my daughter and she smiled. She loves helping me out, and is a really good assistant. ☺

    • @jeannec7758
      @jeannec7758 Před 5 lety +3

      @@lindapasquali2670 Actually, I do not think ink will disappear. The paper does because it is made of some disovable starch I guess. THe ink is from the regular printer, and it does remains the issue if the ink is bnot food or skin safe grade.
