So...this pedal 'doesn't really work like a sustain pedal that you depress 'prior' to playing a series of notes to cause all notes to sustain until you release the pedal, even 'if' you are called upon to release the individual note because, as in the case of a guitar, you are called upon to use a previously 'ringing' string to sound an additional note?
