A pickups is a coil with inductance, which interacts with effects pedals / amp input stages. That's part of the joy of electric guitar.

Maybe you can use a second transmitter for longer performances . Don’t know if it charges while using? So let’s say you have one transmitter plugged into your guitar. 2nd one on the charger will the other transmitter receive. Or due to frequencies you can’t have 2 transmitters?

You can only use one at a time as far as im aware.

@@SearchingForTone I'm happy with mine, except for random drop outs during band practice. During a 2-3 hour practice and with the pedal on the most stable setting i get at least one dropout lasting 3-10 seconds. Its a shame. Ive contacted NUX support and im waiting on an answer. Many others are also experiencing this issue unfortunately :( Updating the firmware didnt help either.

if you forget to charge the emissor, but you need it now, you cant used it because you need to wait for recharge.....But The emissors that have removal
rechargeable batteries (AA) if you forget to charge the removal batteries, it is more easy to resolve the problem, because in emergency, you can try to buy some AA Batteries, some place/shop around.

I sent mine back because it dropped out intermittently and that must not happen at a gig. I tried all different ways to stop any interference but it does drop out. The shop took it back no questions asked when I sent a vid of the unit having that issue. Be aware…

So you havent had any major drop out issues? Multiple people on forums, including me have experienced regular dropouts even on the most stable setting. Ive got mine plugged into a dedicated 12v 500mA port on my board so thats not the issue..

I’ve had a dropout a couple of times for a second. Hard to call it “major” though

I emailed support and while they were quick to respond they did not provide a fix and it didn't seem like this issue could be fixed in a future update.
They did however tell me that the B-8 will select the best channel when powered on, so during live gigs it is recommended to restart the unit once the venue is filled up to let it scan for the best channel.
