It's now time to get our delve on with Dungeon Saga this weekend. Warren and Justin are taking on the roles of the Human Barbarian and Dwarf Fighter while Rich from Mantic controls the undead legions as the evil Overlord.
Will our two heroes storm the dungeon and win honour and renown or will they fall at the first hurdle and be forced to retreat to the local tavern?

Warrens face as Justin starts talking is simply hilarious! Reminds me of when I played Betrayer at House on the Hill with my friends, I was the only one who tried getting into character, so much more fun that way.

Warren's enthusiasm is infectious. Just look at Justin's face throughout the game.
This game look amazing! Nice figures, simple enough rules, great dungeon tiles and an updated heroquest feel. I'm as excited as Warren is.

Hero Quest was a huge part of my childhood. I haven't been this excited since the Muppet movie.
I'm liking the way the dice work for attacks. It's simple, but allow for a lot of dice chucking.

Hi guys. Gameplay seems to be quite interesting. Far more tactical than I´d have thought from just seeing the basic rules. Also, thanks to Mantic for doing everything that the hobby needs to spread and keep going. I truly hope dungeon saga becomes the heroquest of the 21st century. Cheers!

I love how the barbarian was making fun of the dwarf, when the dwarf hit and killed every time.

This seems to combine all the fantastic elements of Hero Quest - with the slightly more structured and detailed Warhammer Quest making a brilliant looking game!

The battle mechanics is really cool. When outnumbered your dice are reduced just makes sense. Well done
It's basically a flanking mechanic or rather a dice penalty for being flanked.
This keeps looking better and better.

Loved it! brought back fond memories of Dungeon Crawling - have to say though Warren... surely the battlecry should have been "OOOOORRRRLLAAAAAAFFFFF NO-LAST-NAAAAAAAME"

Hey great play through on the first adventure. I ran a demo for it about a year ago and now it's cool to see the finish product and how it plays.

To be honest in an actual dungeon crawl I would probably not be as excited about the heroics but rather more focused on getting through the experience alive.

Not really played this kind of game since warhammer quest but think I will have to get this
It’s looking like this will be one of the more rewarding kickstarters I’ve backed, really looking forward to it! I went in for basically all the “content” just none of the resin minis iirc.
Usually lukewarm about fantasy, but this looks good for a pickup and play.

Damn it, I don't need another dungeon crawler. But I need this one.
Where I live everyone is into wargamming and it is always fun to introduce them to role playing with the rule that if they describe their moves thematically they get a bonus. They are all numbers and stats, it is also funny when someone does an action that isn't well defined in the rules, you hear the gears in their heads grind and smoke come out of their ears ;)
